A gust of wind enters the Medicine Cat den through gaps in the tightly woven bramble walls. The breeze blows a singular mint leaf away from a stack of herbs that the Medicine Cat had sorted. The leaf is carried to the entrance of the Medicine Cat den, and lingers there for brief seconds. The mint is then picked up again by the same gust of wind, and this time it is blown across camp to the entrance of the Leader's den.

The path that the mint leaf takes indicates that Mintpaw will train diligently as a Medicine Cat before the paws of fate take her to the Leader's position, where she will be needed to protect the Clan from great peril.
