I Do Love You

~Sky's POV - 1 Week later~

Ty has been acting weird, lately. We have became friends, which is good, but I'm not really sure if he's accepting me as a friend. Every time I wanted him to hang at my place, he would always run off, saying he was busy. He missed a day of school, and came back the next day with a black eye. I don't know if his dad did that or not, but either way, I'm worried sick about him. I just want him to be alright. If he's okay, I'm okay.

As Ty sat down next to me at the lunch table of losers, aka us, I started to speak to him. "Ty, something's wrong. What's going on? Was it your dad? Are you okay? Ty?" I sounded like my mother.

"I'm fine." He replied. That's the obvious excuse the whole fucking world uses.

"No you're not."

"Yes I-"

"You aren't fine." I hissed. He looked at me, scared. I'm so sorry that I scared you.

No you aren't.

Yes I am.

Well you shouldn't be. Being sorry is what gets you killed.

Well I'm not dead yet, now am I?

"Sorry for scaring you."

"It's okay." He still sounded scared.

"Look, could you please tell me what is wrong?"

"No."

"Ty, if you tell someone something that is on your mind, you will feel better."

"This won't help. Telling wont help. It will just make it worse. Please stop talking to me."

"I just wanted to help..." I muttered so quietly that no one could hear me. Everyone started to leave the cafeteria, which meant that it was time for class. Sadly, me and Ty aren't in the same class. So we parted ways without even saying goodbye. I was still desperate to find out what was wrong. Maybe if I follow him home at the end of school I'll find out...

~End Of School~

I watched Ty exit the school and start to walk home. He seemed to have walked a different route than everyone else, so I guess I can easily follow him without anyone knowing. I started to follow him, staying at least five feet away from him, being as quiet as possible. We were walking for a while and I felt like we were never going to reach his house. But, soon enough he opened the door to an old abandoned shack. Weird... Inside was a man. He aimed a bow and arrow at me. Ty turned around and saw me.

"Get away. You aren't allowed to love my son. He will never love you. Go. Or I'll fire." And you know what? I actually believed him. I started to run. Run home. I could hear Ty following me.

He doesn't love you.

I know...

When I reached my house I pulled out my cutting blade. I loved the feeling of it in my hand. It was like the missing piece to my puzzle. When the blade cut my flesh, it felt amazing. I cut his name into my arm. I wanted to remember him while I was gone. He ran into my house and saw me. I laughed, also spitting out blood.

We just met like a week ago... but you're all I have left. I was surrounded by darkness. I was going insane without him. I smiled and fell back, hearing the screams of Ty slowly fading away.

~Ty's POV~

I walked home, prepared to get another beating. But today I felt... different. I felt safe. I felt like today I will walk home, and I will be saved. I felt like someone was following me, like an angel. Someone who can protect me from my dad. I didn't turn around, though, because I was afraid that my "Guardian Angel" would run away. When I finally reached the shack, I stepped inside to see my dad aiming a bow and arrow behind me. I turned around to see Sky. He followed me home. That's why I felt safe. But now he isn't safe.

"Get away. You aren't allowed to love my son. He will never love you. Go. Or i'll fire." Sky immediately ran off. I started to run after him. My dad started to chase me, but after awhile I couldn't hear his footsteps anymore. I turned around and he wasn't there. He thankfully gave up. I continued to run after Sky. He ran inside a small little house, leaving the door wide open. I ran in, and heard Sky chanting "He'll never love me. I'll never have any friends. I'm just a lonely, gay, freak." I ran to him. He was laying on the ground, in a pool of blood. He had a blade in his hand, which was cutting his skin. He looked up at me, and laughed, coughing up blood. Then his eyes shut. "Sky? Sky? SKY?! Please don't go!" He was still breathing, he just passed out. But his breaths wouldn't last for much longer. I picked him up and ran outside. His arms were covered in fresh cuts, blood, and scars. But the fresh cuts spelled out a word. More like a name. It was my name.

"Sky, I do love you." I started to run towards the hospital, but then saw my dad off in the distance. He now wielded a diamond sword. I turned around and ran into the forest behind his house. I kept on running farther and farther into the forest. I looked behind to see if my father followed me, and thankfully he didn't. Or he was just trying to keep his distane. I was about to turn my head back and focus on the forest in front of me, when I slammed into something and fell on the ground, dropping Sky next to me. My vision blurred. I looked up to see two people talking above me. One was a bacca, with a bandaged shoulder, and the other was a boy who wore a checkered hoodie. They picked us up and started to carry us. And that was when I blacked out.

Okay, I bet you can tell who the two people are that saved Sky and Ty :3 Anyways, I made a goal. I want to reach 100 reads and 25 likes on my story by the end of the week. If that happens, I will write a super long chapter! And if I cant do that... I'll try to update FOUR TIMES instead of two over the weekend. And if I cant do THAT, then I'll give you guys cookies. Virtual cookies, to be exact. That's all :P
