It's so strange but true people change like chameleon with in seconds, they show their true colours, they talk to you when they need you.

I was on cloud nine I thought I had loving mother in law and I also saw it in her eyes that love for me then why?

We have been told mother in laws aren't so loving towards theirs daughter in laws is that true?even daughter in laws should be loving, I have heard for some, it's very difficult to settle in new house while for some it's simple.

Wasim has been extremely distant with me, we barely spoke, he woke up early before I did and came late at night, I stopped working for him from home also, he no longer trained me and what hurt most was that he didn't even give me a chance to explain myself.

I wiped drop of tear with the back of my palm and breathed in and out.

"Why?why did you talk to them?"my father in law asked me and before I could continue my mother in law interfered.

"She's plotting something ofcourse,"she spat and her husband gave her a stare which warned her to zip up her mouth and she went away without glancing back.

"You need to discuss with Wasim, I know something has been bothering you, I am sure Wasim was stressed about something then all of this happened, talk out to him,"he explained to me and gave me advice he didn't want me to explain to him but he wanted me to mend my relationship with my husband.

"Don't worry about my wife I have planned putting with her for tonight so you will be alone with your husband,"my father inlaw informed me with a smile and kissed my forehead and that brought a smile on my lips.

"Thank you so much uncle,"I thanked him.

"Uncle?am your dad dear just the way Wasim called me,"I nodded and he left leaving me with my thoughts.

How long will you ignore me Wasim?Can you even stay mad at me for more than four days well than a surprise is waiting for you I will be alone tonight let's see what you will do.

"Guys have ego and can be stubborn at times,"I admitted while rushing towards the kitchen to prepare his favourite dishes for evening and dinner.

"We are going to Lahore for two days,"my father in laws voice snapped me from my thoughts and my mother in laws face was worth watching . I had heard she has a sister there and there was a wedding there.

"Don't mess our house, "my mother in law said harshly while glaring at me.

"Who knows she might steal some gold also,"she accused again and my father inlaw dragged her away to their room while I just dropped on the floor.

Assalamualeikum mom,"I checked the time it was now 11pm, I have been waiting for him since evening but he skipped the meal he didn't even text and I didn't inform him about me being alone in the house.

"Waleikumsalam,"I replied after five minutes of silence while I glanced towards the sitting room he was removing his coat and glanced towards me as if he had sensed me staring at me.

"Where's mom and dad?"he asked without even looking at me, he didn't even notice I had worn his favourite suit.

Be strong, talk to him.

"I asked you a damn question,"he asked again abit harshly and I flinched backwards when I saw him extending his hand.

"You thought I was going to hit you?"he asked in a pained voice and I didn't even know why I flinched back.

"Whatever is going on between us but I will never raise my hand on you,"he assured me I nodded while just staring at him.

"They have gone to Lahore there's a wedding at your mothers place,"I told him in a low voice.

"I will go finish some work and sleep, am just extremely tired, "he said while he just drank water and stared at dishes.

"How long will you ignore me?can we talk?"I told him with hope I noticed his eyes softened abit but then his reaction changed.

"When mom told me I didn't even believe her I knew you couldn't do anything wrong but then I saw you talking with your uncle?my rival?"he questioned and my face paled.

"He was in need of money, his business had crushed down people knew of his real intention and complained, his wife was sick but who would understand?"I thought to myself but didn't inform him he would be mad at me I know but still..

Would you have helped someone who had hurt you or you would have ignored them?

Life is short why hold grudges?

What goes around comes around and who knew one day they would ask help from the one whom they tortured the most after having their own daughter?

There comes situation in our lives where we have to sacrifice.

"You talked to them didn't you?"he asked while he took a step closer to me and I moved backwards.

"Yes,"I agreed and he approached more closer.

"You stole money from home without even asking, you could have just asked I would have given you anything,"he said in a sad tone.

"Please Wasim, I took money but for some good cause it was needed urgently you were busy in the meeting and it was about saving someone's life,"I explained to him everything and his eyes widened, his features became soft, he stared at me with a different expression.

"Wow!now you are making up a good story,"he stated and just shook his head.

"What if they are lying and playing games with you?"he asked and I just  moved away from this proximity his words cut my heart into pieces, he still thought I stole money.

"See this with your own eyes "I handed him my phone I had taken selfie with my aunt after she apologised.

"I am sorry for doing all that without informing you she needed it for her surgery while you were in meeting and I didn't have the guts to inform your mom,"I said while wiping a drop of tear I didn't wanna lose another person, people change but once they ask forgives we have to forgive them.

"Hey hey relax it's okey I was blinded by my anger and there was so much happening I trust you,"he finally looked at me with concern and cupped my face he hugged me and tears flew from my eyes.

"Does dad know?"he questioned and I just nodded in denial but I told him hes the one who suggested this idea and all the plan.

"You have to clear misunderstandings when they come,"he adviced me and I nodded.

"Well! Sorry for being a jerk and by the way you look absolutely beautiful and stunning today,"he complimented and I looked away shyly thanking Allah I showed him our video also I knew I would need them I also didn't believe when they first asked for money

"Thank you now can we go and have dinner,"I dragged him towards the dining room which was lit with candles on the end of the table and several dishes were placed beside it.

"When did you plan all these and is that our first halal dinner date"he asked with a mischievous smile ya Allah how much I craved for this side of him and we have two days alone I would make sure to make most of it.

"Yes it is, my dear hubby,"I said  it shut my mouth realizing what I said and he narrowed his eyes am telling you wattpad has been rubbing of on me alot , reading too much marriage stories.

"You said something,"he stated while serving for himself and me but I just shook my head I had said it once but not again.

"I said yes it is a dinner date,"I spokewith a smile and he just laughed that laugh which I longed to hear.

"You are too innocent my wife and you can say anything after all we have to days to ourselves,"he said as if he won't attend tomorrows meetings.

"Well I want you to work with me again please,"he asked again while he was mad at me he didn't even ask for help he ignored me should I even agree?

"I know I have been avoiding you like plague but am really sorry I promise this won't happen again. I want you to work with me next to me in my office, I still have to train you with alot of stuff,"he teased me I knew what he meant he was repeating my dialogue.

"You are crazy and what has been running in that head of yours?"I asked him and he narrowed his eyes as if daring me to ask him.

"If you knew what has been running in my head you would also run away to Lahore and leave me alone here, "he wiped his mouth with a tissue and I did same we put dishes in sink and washed them together.

This great amazing CEO was clearly ing dishes with me, he's different from rest of them and Alhamdulillah.

"I will work with you again,"I agreed and he just smiled at me.

"Am sorry,"I heard his voice it was guilt he was feeling it I knew it people had talked to him against me that's why he reacted that way but I forgave him it didn't suit a person like him apologising me all time.

I sat on sofa and he kneels down next to me holding my hands.

"Wasim stand up, what are you even doing, stand up,"I tried to make him stand up but he just denied and stood down holding my hands.
