"ooouch!" I woke up with a terrible headache. I tried to get up but my head seemed to be made of lead since it wasn't cooperating with me. I pulled myself to a sitting position as my back lay against the dashboard of the bed. I looked around the room to find Sophia–my roommate– but then I remembered what happened last night and that explains why she wasn't in here. I took my phone from the nightstand and dialed Ajit's number.

" Hey Ajit. It's Pinky here."

" Hello dear. Haven't seen you around today. How are you doing and how can I help you?"

" Buddy I need your help. I woke with such a terrible headache. Can you please bring me boiling hot coffee and some painkillers, am in my room."

" Yes of course. I'll be there in some minutes. It's my pleasure to take care of you."

I opened my eyes and the bright light made my ryes hurt and I couldn't see clearly. I adjusted my eyes till I could see clearly.

" Ajit...what..um..uh..wha...what happened...to me?"

Jane stood up from a chair and sat beside me on the bed. She made me lay on her thighs and she hugged me then kissed my forehead.

" Dear you had locked your room when I come to bring you the coffee and some drags to help with you headache. So when I called for you, you got up from the bed to come open the door but then I guess you were dizzy so you fell on the floor and there was such a loud noise and..." Ajit explained that when I fell and the noise alarted everyone and people come rushing and they have to get the master key from the Captains and they come in and found me on the floor passed out so they carried me to the bed and since I was staring to have a fever, the kept a wet piece of clothe on my head to help with the rising temperature.

I sat up and looked at everyone. They all wore concerned and caring looks.
" Um.. I don't know how to say it...but.. guy... thank you all so much... you took care of me. But am ok now. I'll be downstairs soon. Thanks once again"

"It's ok dear. We enjoyed talking care of you. It was such a site to see you sleeping peacefully there right guys?" Robert said the joke as he winked at me and the rest laughed.

Everyone said "welcome" or "it's a pleasure" or "it's ok" then they left and I stood up, went to the bath room and get into the bathtub and opened warm water and relaxed in there for a while before taking a bath and heading towards the closest. I picked out an off white blouse that's short sleeved, it had a pink embroidery of love. Am wore a blue crazy jeans that ended some few inches above my knee. It had black stones at the bottom of both sides.  I brushed my head and pulling them to a ponytail then looked for a short heeled open shoe that was a matching color to my jeans. I picked up my iphone and pocketed it in my back pocket of the jeans and went downstairs.

Downstairs, I found everyone busy in their personal laptops doing there work since our projects were officially beginning today.  I walked over to the lounge room and said, "hi everyone!" In a soft tone.  Everyone looked up and said hi then Sneha started speaking, "How are you feeling now Pinky? Better right?" I nodded my head amd said, " am much better after the long worm bath." I smiled as I looked over yo Sophia. She was too busy to even look up from her laptop. She seemed to be fully engrossed in her work. I thought of talking to her right then but I gave it a second thought and decided I should talk to her in private.

I went to Captain Nathan who standing at the office table helping Mohan with something that seems like drawings.

" Hello Captain!" I greeted the Captain as he asked me how I was doing. "Captain I would like to confirm it with you on what my schedule tells me. We'll be going to the island thrice a week right? And that's on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Am I right?"

" Oh yeah. I thought of arranging it that way for the first option but then I thought maybe we could change it if you think something needs to be changed. What do you think about it?"

" It's ok Sir. I've already planned my week on that schedule so... I think it ok." I gave him a smile.

"No need to call me Sir. Just Captain or even Nathan." He gave me a smile and tapped my shoulder as he went back to what he was doing with Mohan.  I turned around to look at everyone and I spotted an empty space where Sophia was sitting earlier whem I come downstairs.

I looked around and saw the entrance door still open and I knew she must have left the house and went outside so I followed her. But before I left, I quickly rushed to my room and picked up a black leather jacket that had silver stones everywhere sparkling. I then went outside after putting it on.

I found Sophia sitting on a rock looking at the waters below her in silence. She had her laptop closed beside her. I went quitely and sat on the rock beside her while our legs were lingering down the rock. We spent some few minutes without a word as we both just started into the ocean without even blinking or turning around.

" Oh I didn't notice that I have been staring at the waters since I come out here to get some fresh air and continue working for..." Sophia started explaining herself without even looking at me.

" There's no need to explain yourself. It's not as if it's a crime you've been commiting that you have to explain. It's good to just stare at the ocean. It help relieve you of stress." I told her but she was now typing something on her laptop that she didn't even answer back (though there was nothing to answer).

After some few minutes, I started speaking again. " Yesterday when you were talking to your dad on the phone, my parents called me and I went outside the house to talk to them. They made me emotional after talking about my big bro called Tiger. I don't usually like talking about him because it makes me emotional and reminds me of all the pain. So when I come back inside I just didn't want anyone to talk to me since I wanted a peaceful time just by myself. Am really sorry for how my behavior toward you." I placed my hand on hers that was now on the rock and had stopped typing.

She let all that I had said sink into her head then she started talking, "Am also sorry. I.... um.. I didn't know what happened to you, but I shouldn't have guessed it that you wanted to be alone when you said you didn't want to join us for dinner yesterday. Then am also sorry for bringing in your parents into our little argument. I should have known better than to mention one's beloved parents as a joke am really sorry for that Pinky." As for now, she had turned and was looking at me eye–to–eye.

I hugged her and told her, "No need for all the sorry(s) we are friends right?" She nodded her head and I continued, "and the rule of friendship says: " no thanks no sorry". All that's well ends well."

And as we were still in that hug, a message popped up in my phone. We broke the embrace and I pulled out my phone, it was a notification from an app that sends me a daily joke to enlighten my day.

"Hey Sophia, listen to this joke. "That awkward moment when you sing the wrong part of a song with confidence".

We both burst into a laughter and she was like, " wait... I can..can imagine that" then she started laughing again.

We stood up and went back inside the house. We opened the door while we were still laughing and the house was in a pin drop silence. Everyone looked up at us and we kept quiet.

" That's a good scene to witness right guys?" Sneha asked the rest as everyone nod their heads in agreement.

"Oh my it was a joke and I think it's really awkward..." Sophia answered bit couldn't finish her statement as she broke into another laughter.

"Mind to share the joke. Everyone herr seems like they need a break from the monotony of working. Let us laugh also." Captain Natasha said as the rest stretch up to prove that they are tired.

" Ok lemme read it. Pay attention everyone. "That awkward moment when you sing the wrong part of a song with confidence " so what do you say guys?"

Everyone was laughing and trying to imagine such a scenario. Then Robert stood up and took a book from the table and rolled it to a cylinder and pretended to make a microphones. He then began singing, " am so lonely broken angel, come and break me before I fall apart" everyone was laughing and others were even standing trying to catch their breathes.

"Lemme correct u Mr rockstar." Ariya said taking the microphone from him.

"Am so lonely broken angel, am so lonely listen to ma heart.
One and only broken angel, come and save me before I fall a apart.
You, you are one, miss you so much, now that you're gone, don't, don't be afraid, I'll be by your side leading the wayyyyyyy" Arya sang in the best voice I've ever heard. She also knew the moves as ahe moved as if she understands the lyrics. As she finished prolonging the last my word,she stretched her hands out and we all went over and hugged her until she was at a lost of oxygen.

Everyone was shouting and laughing and a lot of "hurray!" Coming from here and there then we were all like,"Ariya! Ariya!Ariya! Ariya!Ariya!' cheering her up. And she was blushing and hiding her face telling us she was shy and we all broke into another laughter.

"Ok guys. Thanks you all. But that's enough pampering for the day. My head might burst from all the cheering." She said as she hold her head to prevent it from bursting and we all laughed again.
