I have already informed everyone about their submission. I was left with Sophia and Robert. I was told that Robert was in the games room so I went there and found him. He said that he'll submit morning of the following day. I was now moving around looking for Sophia to inform her.  I thought I'll inform her at the dinning table when we'll be having lunch. I was at the staircase when Regan walked past me with a mug of hot chocolate but then he turned to speak to me.

"Hey Pinky. I'm almost done with my project so I wanted to confirm your email address, so I'll come over to your room so that you give me your address and I'll send it. Alright?"

"Yeah sure. I'll be in my room waiting for you. Bye for now!"

He turned quickly and started running down the stairs. Unfortunately, the mug fell out of his hands and broke at the staircase as the hot liquid splash everywhere. It was too hot and even burnt his leg when it landed on the stairs. He shouted at the top of his lungs and I rushed to him and made him sit down as I call out for  Ajit who was at the kitchen to come help us. He come and when he saw the mess he said, "oh my God! What happened to Regan? Ok calm down, I'll clean out this place, Pinky get the first aid kit and take care of him!" I  nodded my head and got up quickly to get the kit.

When I come back at the stairs, he was still sitting there in pain. I looked at his foot and saw that a few pieces of the ceramic had pierce his skin and they were still there. I wore the gloves and took a forcips and carefully removed the pieces of ceramic as he was screaming now and blood was flowing out. I took cotton and sprayed spirit on it as I wiped away the blood. I sprayed iodine on the open wounds on his foot and wrapped plaster around his foot and finally closed it. I gave him some painkillers and helped him stand up as I took him to his room. When he was finally safely laid on his bed, I took his laptop to him and I wrote my email address on his notepad and told him to finish his work in bed and I went to help Ajit in cleaning the stairs.

Ajit was already there with napkins and tissues and he was wiping the chocolate from the stairs. He said that he will go get broom, brush and dustpan to clean up the broken mug. I was still standing there when I saw Sophia coming from one of the rooms upstairs. She was coming towards the staircase and she was literally running. I had to stop her before she gets herself injured.She was already passing me and I held her hand.

"What's your problem girl?" He questioned me without even looking at me.

"You can't go down now! You'll get hurt. Please understand this is for your own safety!" I explained to her but she wasn't even going to look at me.

"Whatever happens to me is none of your concern. If am hurt then I'll face the pain not you so mind your own business girl and leave my hand!" She yelled at me but I refused to let go of her.

She tried to free her hand but then she gave up and finally looked behind and faced me, "I don't want anything to do with you traitor! I hate your existence whore! I even hate the fact that we are breathing the same oxygen because you are making it dirty you bitch!" Immediately these words left her mouth, I felt a bee sting in my heart. It ached. Why does she hate me that much? She was once caring and now calling be whore and bitch. I let go of her hand. When she gets hurt, she'll understand what I was talking about.

She started running away from me the same instant I let go of her. I closed my eyes and that's when I heard what I was preventing her from. She screamed as if she was in labour. "Someone help! Ouch!!!" She was crying and trying to remove the pieces that gotten into her foot. Ajit was at the other side of the stairs and said, "Pinky why did you let her pass when you knew it was dangerous for her huh?"

She looked up at me as I went over to where she was and I said looking at her, "you can talk the cows to a water point but you can't say force it to have water right? I warned her but she said when she's hurt, she'll be the one to face the pain and not me so I should mind my business. It's not my fault Ajit!!" She was  sorry and I could see it through her teary eyes.

"Come help me Ajit. It's really hurting!!! What had happened there?" She asked looking at Ajit so I knew better than to answer her or even help her out. Ajit told him that Regan was running down the stairs so the mug fell out of his hand and even hurt him.

"Pinky do the first aid on her and I'll clean here before someone else gets hurt." He looked up at me and I shrugged my shoulders in refusal.

"I refuse to be disrespected again and again. I've my own self respect and I refuse being violated. Whenever I hold her she calls me bitch so I'm not doing it Ajit!" I was yelling but specifically to her.

"Am in pain Pinky! It's hurting please...!"

"I thought you said you'll face it and I shouldn't stick my nose into your business girl!"

"C'mon Pinky I know you are more than that selfish person you are showing us now. Just help her out!" Ajit interrupted us. I nodded my head as I went for the first aid kit again. I come back and sat down where sue was sitting now.

I started cleaning up the blood flowing and removing the small pieces of ceramic and I spoke up as I held her leg tightly, "people should at least know how to speak to fellow humans! They disrespect people and want help from them! Kindness, care and respect are all two way traffic. You get what you give others!"

I gave her painkillers and I saw her rubbing away the last drops of tears on her cheeks and she said, "thanks!" I helped her up and asked her which room I should take her to and she said Arya's room. I took her there and knocked on the door as Arya opened wearing a sleeping face.

"Oh my gosh!!! What happened to you?" She looked shocked when she saw the bandage around her foot. She too was avoiding me.

"I got hurt with some silly ceramic that Regan broke accidentally at the staircase Arya!" She explained as she looked at her foot and then back at Arya.

I cleared my throat so that they can at least acknowledge my presence, "ok Arya take care of her she needs to rest and make sure you give her the painkillers four times a day and also place a pillow down her injured leg when she lays down. Ajit will make both her and Regan soup make sure you serve her when it's still warm. I'll leave now!" I let go of her hand and took off immediately. I heard Arya stammer and try to say something before she called me. I turned around to listen to her.

" Aaaah actually I myself am not doing well. How can I take care of her injured leg. And as for the medicines, I'm also under mediation and takes care of me? We only have two pillows so if she uses one to sleep on and one to be used on her leg where will I sleep on? I can't take care of her. Please take her Pinky! Am sorry Sophia I wish I could helo you but I can't!" She turned and went back to her room and closed the door right at our faces.

I turned to face a crying Sophia and asked her, "what's the problem? Is it hurting?" She didn't answer me but I instantly took her to our room and she stood at the door way not sure whether to enter or not.

"It's your room at the first place. I just had to stick with you because mine is used. Furthermore, the room hasn't done anything to you, you are angry at me so I'll stay somewhere else. Get in!" I explained it to her softly and she accepted to get into the room.

I took her to her side of the bed and helped her lay down. She winced in pain and I spoke up, "just rest today and tomorrow and take the medication and you'll be fine!" She nodded her head. I placed a pillow down her injured leg and adjusted the pillow where her head was laying and kept her phone on the nightstand.

I went into the study room and packed my laptop and few papers that I'll need overnight. I went into the closest and picked my night dress and the dress that I'll wear the next day. I picked up my phone and left the room. I kept my things at Mohan's room as he offered to go stay with Regan and take care of him.

I did the ad I was supposed to do for Janet and checked it out. It's been four hours now. I had even taken my dinner to my room and ate there. I sent the ad video to Janet and stood up. I stretched out and picked up the dirty utensils as I walked downstairs into the kitchen. I washed my used utensils and kept them on the dish rack and drank water. I looked at the fridge and found watermelon and oranges. I washed them and cut them into smaller pieces and divide them into two. I took one to Regan and one to Sophia.

Regan was still awake and doing much better but I told him to still rest. Mohan was sitting on the bed with his laptop as I asked him if he's ok here and needed anything from his room he should just come and take it. Then I went to Sophia's room. She too was awake and doing something on her phone.

"How are you doing now?" I asked her when I got in and she looked up at me.

"Much better even the pain is gone." I could even get the sense of relief from her voice.

"Am glad. Now try sitting up and have these fruits. Am going to the study room I need something for submission!" I stood up and went in there and picked up my performance graph on the board and my remaining things in the studying room. I went out and smiled at her as I turned to tell her something," if you are done with your project you can start submitting and if not then you'll finish tomorrow since tomorrow is the deadline!" She nodded her head and I left.

I went to my room and removed my right clothes as I wore my large white T-shirt that was upto the middle of my thighs. It was baggy and cotton so it was really comfortable. I slept on Mohan's bed but the men perfume and Cologne reminded me of Jerry. I really missed him. I went for my phone on the stand and called him

"Ahem look who's calling me today!!! How have you been my sexy lady?!" Again the irritating Jerry with his flirting.

"Am good and how are you and Tiger? Did you speak to him recently?"

"Both of us are fine. Yeah I talked to him and he agreed to come pay you a visit soon. And it's really soon you won't even believe it dear! How's your project my Queen?"

"We are almost done here. Tomorrow we have submission and then we'll be free from all these stress and we'll go back home in two days. I miss mom and dad and more importantly my bed."

I heard him laugh like a lunatic, "daddy's princess. I pray that those remaining three days became the longest and never end!"

" Jerry!!! I want to go back home! As it is some people here don't even want to see my face!"

"Oh my! That's there loss! They don't want to see the mighty Pinky while some of us here have to see her face  or her voice in order to have a good day!"

There was an incoming call from Janet so I said my goodbye a d goodnight to Jerry and called back Janet. She was calling to thanks me.

When I was done with the calls, I wasn't sleepy yet so I started with backing up the already sent projects. I had projects for, Jane, Sneha, Mohan, Ajit, Regan, mine and Sophia's. I guess Arya, Robert and Jack will submit the next day. I backed up the projects in my flash disk and kept the flash disk in my drawer and charged my laptop as I went to bed. It was already midnight so I just had to go to sleep.
