The Bunny

Foxy's POV

Foxy didn't expect to find danger so early in their battle.

Of course, it wasn't Jonathan. While Foxy wanted it to be Jonathan, it wasn't. Instead, it was just another arsenal of animatronic animals. They soared through the air, their black, devoid eyes seemingly staring the group down.

Fred yelled to the others, "I'll go check on Chica! I promise I'll be back, alright? I believe in you guys." He ripped open the air, creating a void in midair. He jumped right through and was gone instantly, the portal flashing and disappearing.

Foxy felt the energy inside of him slosh over to his hand, spraying from his fingertips and making bright red orbs, floating inches away from his palms. Foxy maneuvered the ball from left to right, catching it over and over again and powering it up, little by little. He smirked with every moment as he stared up at the animatronics. They rocketed downward at them like torpedoes, ready to destroy.

But Foxy was ready too.

The power he threw between his hands was almost too much to bear. With a loud grunt, he chucked the ball right at the animatronics. The first one in the arsenal darted to the right, turning its head to watch as the ball of energy smashed into the rest. An explosion ripped across the sky, blowing out a dozen of the animatronics. Still, there was the rest of the entire arsenal darting down at them.

Foxy watched as Freddy took off into the sky, flying right at the animatronics. The redhead conjured a bright red ball and followed Freddy, hoping that he could direct the ball right to Freddy's wings. Feeling his aim lock on, he finally released the energy and watched it soar through the air. Foxy directed it right to Freddy's wings, watching it smash into his wings. Freddy seemed unaffected by this as he ripped through the rest of the arsenal, slashing an entire group of the animatronics in half with his wings. He circled around the few that were left of the arsenal and soared back down to the ground, his wings a pure white once again.

From his peripheral vision, Foxy could see that the animatronics had retreated. At least they wouldn't attack them for a while. Foxy hoped that the while would be long.

He jogged up to Foxy quietly with heavy breath. "I'll fly around the city and patrol for Jonathan. You and Bonnie--" he nodded his head to Bonnie-- "can fight off the rest.

Foxy smirked. "You lazy a--"

A hand slapped firmly against his shoulder. Foxy turned around, almost surging his energy at whoever had slapped his shoulder. He relaxed when he found it was Bonnie. Her purple hair was wild and tangled. Her cheekbones were dusty and her bright eyes were wrung with exhaustion. She smiled weakly. "Hey, guys. We fighting more animatronics?"

"Yup," Foxy said shakily. "Freddy, go find Jonathan. If you find him, stay out of sight. Bonnie and I can take care of the animatronics. You ready, Freddy?"

The boy nodded. "Yeah, I'm ready. The only question is: are the animatronics ready for me?"

Bonnie laughed. "They can't be ready for Freddy."

"Ooh, that rhymes--!" Foxy started.

"Alright, I gotta go. Be ready for the rest of the animatronics that come your way. Stay in that spot, alright?" Freddy spread his wings wide and before Foxy or Bonnie could say a word, the brown haired angel was off.

Foxy suddenly saw a gigantic group of animatronics soaring across buildings, their giant formation twisting and weaving between buildings and through streets. Suddenly their course was headed straight for Foxy and Bonnie.

"Bonnie . . ." he murmured. He raised a finger slowly, pointing at the sudden surge of animatronics. There must have been a hundred, two hundred of them. Bonnie turned her head around her shoulder. Foxy could hear her gulp.

"It's okay, Foxy. Just shoot stuff at them, and we'll be fine. Alright?" she said. Foxy nodded shakily. He didn't feel ready for this. While Fred had trained him up a little, he still didn't feel like anything could prepare him for the horde in front of him. And fighting Jonathan head on, that seemed like such a chore compared to this, which was more like a leisurely stroll through the neighborhood.

"You ready?" Foxy asked nervously. Bonnie's gaze was unmoved, but she nodded stiffly. Foxy looked ahead as the entire disaster made its way right to the two kids.

He got a few energy balls ready for attack. Foxy knew Bonnie was doing the same, conjuring a few and getting ready for attack. The group of animatronics continued on, their hungry eyes staring the two kids down. But Foxy hoped that everything would turn out okay.

They were almost within striking distance.

"Ready . . ." Bonnie strained through gritted teeth. A silence hung between the two for a moment before Bonnie screamed, "NOW!"

Foxy screamed as well, releasing all he had in him at the animatronics. Bonnie shot a few rounds at the arsenal, watching as many of them blew up on contact, starting a few others on fire on contact. Still, they approached hungrily, ready to attack their new prey.

"Let's combine our powers," Bonnie said over the sounds of screeching and animatronics whistling through the air.

Foxy stared at her with disbelief. "What? I'm not giving over my spirit right now--"

"No, you dummy. I meant that we shoot our powers . . ." Her voice began to go frantic. "Uh . . . andwecrosspathswithtwobeams--NOW!"

Fortunately, Foxy understood completely what Bonnie was saying. He held out his hands and surged with all his might, allowing his energy to flow out in a continuous stream. Bonnie's power collided with his and suddenly, the power changed to a bright purple. It slashed across the horde and destroyed anything in its path, including some trees. Foxy screamed as he kept surging, and he could hear Bonnie doing the same beside him.

That was when the animatronic arsenal dispersed, widening out into a swarm. Bonnie and Foxy spun around, their heads frantically whipping around and watching the swarm as it completely spread out into a dome around them. Bunnies, bears, chickens, and foxes, all once innocent animals of Earth, turned into war machines.

"What do we do?!" Foxy hissed.

Bonnie looked at him. "Dome. On my count, alright?"

"Dome? What . . ." His mind clicked with what she was talking about. Yes, the dome. "Oh, yeah. On your count, I guess."

Bonnie nodded and turned around. The two were back to back. Foxy's mind whirled in lazy circles as he watched the animatronics spin and sip around them. He waited for Bonnie's count to sound in his ears and sound off when he could begin destroying the animatronics.

"Alright . . . 1 . . ."

Foxy got ready. . . .

"2 . . ."

. . . although he would never be ready . . .

"3."

Foxy stepped out and swung his arms outward, feeling the energy within him disperse and completely step outside of his bounds. His energy connected with Bonnie's and went outward in the planned dome. He listened to the satisfying pops as the animatronics, one by one, blew up and clattered to the ground. Foxy listened, like popcorn popping, as the pops died down and eventually stopped. He panted hard as his dome faded from existence at the same time as Bonnie's.

All he could hear was his own breathing and Bonnie's.

Suddenly, he felt his hand brush past Bonnie's. He felt the urge to hold onto it. A tear nearly escaped from his eyes as he smiled. They had survived it. The arsenal.

Then, it all happened at once, and explosion of a moment.

He swung Bonnie around softly and spun around so he was facing her. Her eyes were so beautiful now. Even though she was covered in dirt, and her hair was a tangle, she couldn't have been more perfect.

Foxy leaned in and pressed his lips to hers.

He felt her sudden shock, but just like that, it all faded away. His heart thrummed in his chest as he wrapped his arms around her waist. Her arms went up to his neck and pulled him in gently. Foxy nearly smiled into the kiss as he realized that she loved him too.

They kissed for longer than he had planned, but every last second of it was beautiful. Every rhythm was perfect, and he couldn't have felt better in any moment. His arms around her, hers around him. Everything around him swirled artistically.

Foxy pulled away slowly, but kept his nose to hers. He opened his eyes and looked into her beautiful blue eyes. Words were jumbled in his head, but he let them out one by one. "Bonnie, we've known each other for four years. I seriously haven't known anyone better than you. All the people are great, but my final judgement was with you, the most beautiful, kind, simply amazing person. Those words were an understatement, but they're the best I have. Bonnie, I love you more than anything. And if we die, whatever the afterlife may be like, or if there is none, I will forever love you. You are my forever, Bonnie. And after all this is done, we are forever to be free."

Bonnie smiled softly, looking Foxy deeply in the eyes. "I want this all to be over. But we will make the best of what we have. We will fight, Foxy. And we will fight together."

A tear rolling down his face, Foxy pulled Bonnie into a tight embrace, and they stood there for a long time, not caring about whether or not they would be attacked in that moment. But it was a moment. And it was their moment together.

(I knew you guys had been waiting for this ;) Love you all.)
