Forever

Chapter One;
Stay With Me.

They say forever is a long time.

I wonder if it's true. I guess ill never really know. My name is Hinata Hyuga and today my life ends.

Sasuke's Point of View

I walked through town on my way back from the market. It's a chilly December night it must be around 7. I walked and pulled my scarf up a little. As I turn I see a girl sitting on the edge of a small bridge.

I can't see her face too well but from where I stand it looks like she has long hair, and a slim body.

I walk a bit closer as details of her face become more clear. I noticed she's wearing a hospital dress. She must be a run away.

I notice something next to her. A rock? I think for a minute 'Rock', 'Bridge', and 'Hospital dress.'

'Shit.'

Then it comes to me. I drop the groceries as I run towards the bridge, she starts falling. By the time I reach her she has already hit the water.

Normally I would've just kept walking and minded my own business, but I don't know what got into me and I jumped into the river.

I held my breath as I searched for the girl. I spotted her and began swimming towards her. As soon as I untied the rope from her waist, I wrapped my arm around her petite waist and swam back up.

I carefully placed her on the snow, I noticed she wasn't breathing. I had no other choice but to give her CPR. To my relief she began to breath once more.

She coughed up water, "Hello? Uhm miss?" I gently slapped her small cheeks.

"D-Don't leave me," was all she said as she became unconscious.

"I don't plan on it." Before she could completely close her eyes I got a glimpse. Beautiful white eyes with a tint of lavender that seemed empty and sad.

I looked at her arm and saw the hospital bracelet, it read.

'Hyuga,Hinata'
Age - 19 Sex - F
DOB - 12/27/1995

I couldn't take her back to the hospital there had to of been a reason for her to run away in the first place.

So I decided to take her back to my apartment. I picked her up bridal style and made my way to my home.

I couldn't help but stare at her. She looked beautiful, although pale and her lips a bit colorless, but I assumed it was because of the cold.

Once we got to my apartment I took her to my room and layed her down. At that moment I thought she must be freezing, but I couldn't undress her that would be wrong and my parents raised me with manners and educate.

So I decided I would call one of my friends. I dialed and a couple numbers and waited for them to pick up.

"Hello?"

"Hey Sasuke-kun!"

"I need your help right away."

"What is it you need?"

"Come over right away."

"Ha? why?"

"I'll explain everything once you get here."

"Hai. See you in a bit."

"Bye."

I sat on the white couch in my living room, trying to figure out what I would do with sleeping beauty in my bed room.

Then I was suddenly pulled out of my thoughts as I heard someone knocking at my door.

I got up setting my hot chocolate on the coffee table. As I opened the door a platinum haired girl and a tired pineapple haired guy stood there.

"Thanks for coming Ino, you too Shikamaru." I say with a monotone voice. They simply nod and smile, well Ino smiles Shikamaru just nods.

"Come in, and follow me," after shutting and locking the door I lead them to my bed room.

I heard Ino gasp in shock as she ran towards Hinata's side.

"S-Sasuke d-do you k-know who this is!" She said exclaimed loudly but not loud enough to wake up Hina.

"Hai. She's Hyuga Hinata, what's the big deal?" Confused I looked at Ino as she kept staring at Hinata with a worried look.

"What's the big deal? You mean you don't know baka?" I looked over at Shikamaru a bit irritated at what he had just called me, but i simply shrugged.

"She's not just Hinata Hyuga. She's THE Hinata of the Hyuga one of the strongest and richest families. They're one of the three families that obtain the most power in Japan. It is said that she is the heiress, but she grew very sick in the last couple months." Ino spoke without looking up even for a moment.

"That explains the hospital dress," she simply nodded. We remained silent until we heard Hinata groan, Ino felt her forehead. "She's burning up, Shikamaru run a hot bath and Sasuke grab some towels. Now!"

We did as Ino said, I helped Ino place Hinata in the tub and then left her alone.

I met with Shika in the living room, "How's Hinata?"

"Ino's giving her a bath she said she'll let me know when I can see her," he nodded in acknowledgement.

I heard the water from the bathroom stop running. I assumed Ino had finished up.

I turned on the tv while she finished up. The news was on, "This just in Hyuga Hinata has gone missing, if found please contact the Hyuga Family."

I turned to look and Shikamaru, then back at the tv.

"What are you gonna do?" He asked as I sipped on my drink. I set my drink down and turned off the tv.

"What can I do Shikamaru? The girl ran away for a reason right? I can't just take her back." This was so frustrating being stuck in this middle like this.

"I suggest you wait till she wakes up and talk to her about things, figure out what's the best thing for her." He placed his hand on my shoulder. "You're right, you guys staying the night?"

He noticed the time and nodded, "Great I'll go set up the guest room."

"I'll help," he said as he followed me. Once there Shikamaru made an interesting remark, "You know Sasuke I noticed you staring at Hinata a certain way."

My face instantly flushed at hearing his comment, "Wh-What do you mean?" I felt so embarrassed I Sasuke Uchiha had just stuttered, not just that but my face was as red as a tomato.

I heard Shikamaru chuckle, "You know what I mean, I must be honest though you were looking at her as if you cared deeply for her. Still what confused me is that you just met her, actually you haven't even officially met her. Yet your eyes seemed to soften at the sight of her."

The pineapple haired man was right, I couldn't deny something about her drew me in.

Before I could say anything Ino had pulled me out of my train of thoughts.

"She's in your room, try to be subtle it looks like she's had a rough night." She spoke as she leaned against the door with her arms crossed.

I threw the blankets at Shikamaru and nodded at her as I made my way towards my bedroom.

I knocked, "C-Come in." Her voice sounded sweet and gentle.

I walked in and noticed she still looked pretty pale, she was sitting up against the bed frame holding a cup of what looked like tea that Ino must've prepared.

She wore a dark navy shirt and her hair seemed damp, I assumed Ino took he freedom of grabbing clothes from my drawer.

"Hi, how are you feeling?" I sat at the edge of the bed trying to be as subtle as possible.

She puts a lose hair strand behind her ear and I can't help but stare.

"I-I'm feeling better thanks, you must already know my name so might I ask what yours is?" She spoke rather softly as she looked down at her tea.

"My name is Sasuke, Sasuke Uchiha." She looked up in shock as is if she surprised to who I am.

"U-Uchiha? As in the second most richest family in Japan? As in partners with the Hyuga Corp?"

I noticed her start to get nervous, "Hinata please calm down, I won't let them know you're here if that is what you're worried about."

She took a deep breath and relaxed, "Thank you so much, I don't know how I'll ever be able to repay you for saving me."

I looked away embarrassed, "Don't worry about it we'll talk in the morning just get some rest."

She nodded as I walked away and shut the door. I made my way to the living room and laid down on my couch.

I should get some rest too, tomorrow we'll sort out everything.
