I wake up to my alarm as always but this time I felt refreshed and excited for the new day.

Basically Chat had stayed over at my place almost all night! We just chatted away for god knows how long just about thinks we liked and things we couldn't stand and all that kind of thing.

He's such a cool superhero! Not to mention he's really handsome! His kind and funny. I absolutely love his puns. Their fang-tastic, some can be a little claw-ful or other can be purr-fect~

"(Y/n)! Hurry up honey you're going to be late for school!" Mom called out from downstairs as I scrambled with the last touches on my face and fixing my (h/l) (h/c) hair and ran downstairs with all my things for school.

"I'm ready!" I said once I entered the kitchen as mom handed me a piece of toast with (jam/pb). "Have a good day sweetheart." She said before kissing my cheek just as Dad handed me my coat.

"Have fun kiddo." He said as I kissed his cheek before heading out the door with my toast in hand and I walk down the street to the school.

As I make my way to school I meet up with Ayla and Marinette. "Hey (y/n)!" Both girls greeted as I smiled in reply. "Hey girls! Ready for another day of hell?" I asked as Ayla laughed.

"Oh of course! Because I love school so much!" She said clearly sarcastically as all three of us laugh.

As the three of us walk up the front steps of the school we see Adrien and Nino talking away.

Even both Ayla could greet them both Adrien already had his head turn towards us. His green eyes instantly looking on mine. How did he know we were coming up the stairs?

"Hello boys!" Ayla greeted as she headed over to Nino and kissed his cheek. Soon Nathaniel walked over to Marinette.

It was a little awkward at the fact that everyone in my friend group was coupled up while Adrien and I were the only ones who were single.

They're not gonna try and get me and Adrien to date right?! The instant thought made my cheeks grow warm and a very weird feeling in my stomach. Butterflies? But Adrien is just a friend...

"Earth to (Y/n)?" I hear Mari say as she finally snaps me out of my deep thoughts. "Wha? What's wrong?" I asked as she giggled.

"We were just talking about Chatnoir. You said that he paid you a visit yesterday."

My eyes widened, "wha? I did? When?" I rambled out as my face grew hot from the memories of last night. Chatnoir is very handsome, strong and witty. He's an amazing hero and Ladybug is lucky to have such a charmer like him on her team.

"Oh he did? What was he like?" Adrien asked as I met his steady gaze. I smiled softly in reply, "he's really cool. He just stopped by to see how I was doing is all."

"Really?" Nathaniel asked as he smiled over at me. "Yes really," I huffed; "it was my first time getting stuck in a villain attack, he was just doing is job."

"Well I'm glad he came to check up on you." Adrien said as his face turned a tad pink that no one seemed to notice expect for me.

The bell rings signalling everyone to get to class. In the morning I had a different class with my friends but soon after I have a class with them.

"Alright off we go! Hey Ayla race you to the locker rooms!" Nino said as he takes off with his girlfriend chasing after them. Mari and Nathaniel walking after them. They chatted away about new sketches and whatnot while Adrien and I laughed.

"Gosh they're something else huh?" I asked as Adrien laughed in agreement. "You guys are the best friends I could ever ask for." He replied softly as he looked over at me.

A small smile framed his lips as his green eyes softened as they locked on mine.

My heart skipped a beat and I swear those butterflies came fluttering back at the pit of my stomach. Adrien is very handsome. He's sweet and caring. He simply has a heart of gold.

Of course we were best friends growing up. Other than Chloe hanging out with us as well...Adrien and I always had a close bond.

We shared a loss with a parent. We had many things in common and we always had each other's backs. I don't know what I'd do if I never had him in my life.

And I'm so thankful for the memories and times we had shared together.

"Can I walk you to class?" Adrien asked me as I broke out of my daze and looked over at him.

Again his cheeks turned a soft pink and I couldn't help but giggle. "Is the great Adrien Agreste blushing?" I asked, clearly teasing him as his eyes widened.

"Huh? What?" He rambled out as I leaned closer towards him. "No way, you totally are!" I added on as he leaned a little too far back.

"Adrien!" I gasped as I quickly grabbed his arm, pulling him forward again so he wouldn't fall over the stone railing and crash on the ground.

Overall it resulted in us both tripping over our own feet and stumbling on the ground. But it happened way too fast for me to even comprehend of how Adrien swiftly twisted us around.

So instead of me hitting the ground first, he took the hit first, making me land on top of him. In a way it seemed he had done it to protect me...but the only thing that was running through my mind was how the hell he managed to move so fast...

And how did he get those fast reflexes from? That was so weird...

By the time I had got of my thoughts I had realized of how close our faces were. I fully snapped out of my thoughts when I felt his arms tighten around my waist.

Our eyes locked and I swear I saw his eyes glow for a second. Maybe it was just the sun...

"Huh..." I paused for a moment. "Are you wearing a different cologne? You smell different." I murmured, Wait I said that out loud?! But he did smell different.

I know it's super weird to smell your friends. Not that I smell my friends! It just a new kind of cologne? Is it actually cologne? Wait why did I notice he smelled different?!

What is going on with me?!

While my brain was having a war with thoughts, my face grew hotter once I realized...oh wow we're really close together... Adrien seemed to had snapped out of his gaze as his own face grew steaming hot.

"Ah- sorry!" We both rambled out as we scrambled out of each other's arms.

"No I'm sorry! Did know-I mean I don't know how I got so clumsy!" Adrien rambled out as I shake my head, "what? I'm the clumsy one, I'm really sorry!"

We both stopped for a second. I swear I could hear his heart hammering. "You should've seen your face though." I finally said breaking the silence as he turned to look at me.

He was still a little flustered as I held back the laugh before I mocked his reaction he made when he was about to fall backwards.

Before we both knew it we were both laughing. "Aw come on, now your being mean." Adrien fired back while still laughing as I continued to giggle.

"I'm sorry! It was just so funny." I replied as we final entered the school. "Mind if I walk you to class?" Adrien asked once our laughter died down.

Huh...that's new. Usually we just part ways...

I looked over at him and nodded, "sure I'm chill with that." I replied as we head into the locker rooms so we could drop off our bags and get what we needed for class.

"Got what you need?" Adrien asked as I jumped a little. How did he move so fast? "Working I'm becoming a ninja?" I asked as he arched a brow with a small smile.

"I mean you did come by here pretty silent and fast." I added on as I closed my locker. "Huh?! Oh that! Uh...I picked that up during fencing lessons. You gotta move fast and silent in order to get your opponent." He replied as I nodded.

"That's actually a good tactic. Maybe next time we can do some fencing together. One to one."

"Are you sure? I think I'd win." Adrien replied as we exited the locker room and up the green metal stairs.

"Not if you decide to be as clumsy as you were just outside the school." I replied; hinting to what had happened just moments ago.

Adrien huffed, "you're not gonna let that go aren't you?" He asked as I giggled in response, "nope never." I replied as he chuckled softly.

Just as we arrived outside my classroom I turned to look at Adrien. "How did you move so fast?" I asked as I looked over at him.

"Huh?"

My cheeks grew warm. "I mean if my math is correct...I would've hit the ground first..." I trailed off for a moment as Adrien shrugged.

"I didn't want you to get hurt cause of my clumsiness." He replied as I smirked, "so you do admit that your clumsy."

He chuckled, "I'm not admitting to anything, my lips are sealed."

"Excuse me! Adrien and (Y/n) you are late to class!" Mr. Damocles informed as we both sighed.

"Sorry..."

"Alright, off you two go. And I'll be sure to write you both a late slip!" I stated as  I turned towards Adrien "I'll see you later and thanks for walking me to class."

He smiled in reply, "no problem (Y/n)."

I quickly entered my classroom as Adrien parted to go to his class. Man what an interesting start to my day...

Okay before y'all murder me for not updating in so long I just want to apologize for not writing in so long.

2020 was really bad for me. I struggled with a lot of my mental health, loss of three very close family members and there was just a lot going on in my life that was really hard to deal with.

I also had a hard time with writing. I was going through a writers block and wasn't really into it that much anymore. But this year I want to start fresh and work harder on my stories.

Thank y'all for the non-stop support that I have received throughout my time here on wattpad. I promise to write more and work on my stories!
