"Do you love Cade?" I asked her.

I certainly knew this was a hard question to answer, but it had to be asked. My acquaintance, Jareth, was madly in love with Sarah, and I would soon give him intel on her heart's emotions. If only she would open up to me, and then all her secrets would soon spill.

"Well... he is a very kind and considerate man..." she, at last, said.

"That's not what I asked you..." My voice hinted a tad of annoyance, "Do you love him, truly?"

Sarah thought about this for awhile. I could tell that her emotions were conflicting against who her true love was. Was Cade her true love? Certainly not, because his actions were quite irrational and childish. Plus, I noticed an obnoxious air from him. His personality just did not entertwine with Sarah's. So, why did she love hm, if she really does love him, and not a true man like Jareth."

"I-I... I have to go..." Then, she ran out the door without another word.

"Nadir," I called and he promptly came in, "I want you to get Jareth."

Nadir was confused, "Why my friend?"

"For reasons I cannot tell you. Now go, quickly!"

Nadir ran off while I got off the bed. I dressed myself in a new suit and began packing. There has to be something I could do to help them and the little runt had to go. With her answer being unknown about whether she loved the brat didn't affect my plan. I was going to kill him by Jareth's permission. Perhaps I may even spend my life killing... It's exhilarating to kill, so why not?

Jareth came in and smiled sadly at me, "What is it you want?"

"I think I just might solve all your problems. You'll have Sarah and your power. I'm going to kill the boy and then with your help, we'll cast a love spell on Sarah and-"

Jareth interrupted me, "You see, I'm not going through with this. You think I want her to be in love with me just because of a spell!? You stoop so low phantom! You killed to get what you wanted and look where it got you." He sneered, "This friendship is over and to think... I pitied you."

Pity... That's all I ever get... Pity... Well let's just see how far pity will get him. I grabbed his neck and began choking him until he only laughed and pushed my back with ease.

"Pathetic monster. I want you gone. You know I'm stronger then you and you don't have a chance."

"We shall see." I snarled and disappeared.
