Sisters are said to be your best friends. They are your second mother, no matter, they are elder or younger. But, they love you with all their heart. Such is the story of Shastri sisters - Anamika and Ruhana Shastri.

The two sisters are the only family to each other. They love each other, more like they are life to each other. None of them can live without each other. Ruhana is the elder one while Anamika is the younger one. She's her sister's spoilt brat because Ruhana always fulfils all the demands that Anamika puts before her.

After all, they have a legacy to carry forward. They are daughters of a famous business tycoon, Jayant Shastri. The girls have lost their mother at a tender age, due to cancer. Jayant loves his daughters dearly. He can't imagine his life without the two girls. Currently, the two sisters are alone at home.

Anamika is a college-going girl, she's always obedient to Ruhana, but at the same time, she plays pranks with her as well. Ruhana has completed her studies and has joined the family business along with her father. Jayant Shastri is currently in London for a meeting. Therefore, the two sisters are alone.

It's a fine morning, Ruhana is talking over the phone. She is annoyed at the moment. She's shouting at the person on call.

"What? Two weeks more! This is not done!" She whines at the moment.

"Papa! That's not done. You just said two weeks, and now you're extending." She makes an angry face, looking into the phone.

It's a video call. She makes a face at her father who laughs at her.

"Junior Shastri ko samjha lena fir! Vo mujhe pareshan karegi ki papa ne promise tod diya!" Ruhana makes a face.

"Arey! Itna pyara naam hai uska! Ye kya junior shastri laga rakha hai!" Her father mocks to scold her.

"Han toh! Wo hai toh aapki carbon copy! Isliye Junior Shastri! Senior toh aap hi ho na! Ab dekho, usko samjha dena. Main usko jagane ja rahi hoon."Ruhana says, walking to her bedroom.

Jayant laughs on the phone while Ruhana enters the room. A girl is still asleep on the bed. Ruhana looks into the phone to change the camera setting so that her father can see what's happening in the room.

" Dekhlo! Kya haal banaya hai is ladki ne mere room ka! Aur aap isko kuch nahi kehte!" Ruhana complains.

"Arey Arey! Tune bhi toh usko sar chadha ke rakha hai. Fir wo koi baat nahi maanti toh tu mujhe complaint karti hai. That is not fair." Jayant says.

Ruhana makes a face as she sets the mobile on the side table, before glancing at her sister, Anamika. She ruffles her hair softly.

"Anu! Wake up! See, Papa's on call!" She says, hoping that the girl would wake up.

"No! Let me sleep! Di, aaj chutti hain." Anamika says and turns in her sleep.

"Teri chutti hain, meri nahi. Mujhe office jana hain." Ruhana says.

Anamika opens one eye to look at her sister. She makes a face.

"Huh! Aapko bhi papa ki tarah office hi jana hain! Toh aap aur papa aoffice mein kyun nahi rehte!" She makes a face, she doesn't like it when Ruhana leaves her alone.

Jayant breaks the sisters' banter, and that's when Anamika's eyes fall on the phone. She takes the phone in her hand and looks at her dad.

"Khush honge na aap! Meri Di ko office bhej ke! Why are you not here? Aapne kaha tha na aap jaldi aaoge!" Anamika snaps at Jayant.

"Calm down, Princess! I'll be back. Lekin abhi mujhe ek ya do hafte aur lagenge. Sambhal lena apni behen ko!" Jayant says innocently.

"Main unko kyun sambhalungi?? Aapne toh unko office ka kaam diya hain! Wo office chali jayengi. Fir main nanhi si jaan akele kya karungi ghar pe?" Anamika says making an innocent face.

Ruhana looks at Anamika trying to hide her laughter. The girl is being overdramatic. Okay, it's their father, yet she is behaving like a baby. She can hear her father laughing and after a little chitchat, Anamika cuts the call. She hands the mobile to Ruhana.

"Ye lo, aapka phone! Lekin aaj saturday hai, aaj toh aap office late ja sakti ho na!" Anamika asks her.

Ruhana looks at her and nods her head affirmatively. Anamika chuckles and she makes her sit on the bed. Anamika locks her hands around Ruhana's neck.

"Di! Papa toh aayenge nahi toh kal hum outing pe jayenge, please! Kal no meeting!" Anamika says.

Ruhana shakes her head and at the same time, her phone rings. Anamika makes a face while Ruhana attends the call. She talks for a few moments and sighs deeply. She asks the caller to send some files to her at home. Getting assured, she cuts the call.

Ruhana looks at Anamika who's turning and tossing in the bed. The girl is being lazy. She sits on the bed.

"Vaise Ana! Main soch rahi thi ki kyun na hum aaj hi shopping pe chale? Tujhe bhi kuch lena tha, aur mujhe bhi grocery shopping karni hai." Ruhana says.

"Really! Hum jayenge?" Anamika chuckles at the moment but gets sad in the next.

"Lekin aapko office..." She makes a sad face.

" Office nahi jana! Aaj ek hi important meeting thi. Papa kal aane wale they na, toh maine socha tha ki sham ko hum dono ek sath rahenge aur subah papa aayenge. Isliye maine ek hi meeting rakhi thi. Vo bhi cancel hogayi. Ab main free hoon. Hum aaj shopping chalte hain, aur fir kal movie dekhenge." Ruhana says.

"Aur khana bhi bahar se order karenge!" Anamika chuckles at which Ruhana laughs at the moment.

Anamika hugs Ruhana out of excitement. She runs to her room while Ruhana smiles watching her go. She closes her eyes only to pray for the well-being of her little sister.

Life is surely good for the two sisters. But, will it remain smooth?
