After sometime Abhi asked, "Aadhya, I'm thinking about putting some people on your side to look after you, have no fear ..they won't appear infront of you and won't interfere with your work, they will just protect you and keep you safe.., can I ??"

"Umm... do as you like. It's getting late, I'll make a move." Aadhya said.

"Let me drop you."

"No, you must be tired..you take rest, I'll call a cab," Aadhya declined.

Abhi held her hand and rubs his thumb, " But I wanna spend some more time with you."(っ◕‿◕)っ

"Then, let me drive...you can take a nap" With that Aadhya drove the car towards her dormitory while Abhi was gazing at her from shot gun seat.

As they were nearing her dormitory, Abhi asked, "Aadhya, do you have time on Sunday? My friends want to meet you."

"Meet me?” Aadhya was surprised.

" Uhm.. You’ve met Raju. You should meet my other friends. This is our unwritten rule. We need to show each other our future wives. Don't worry too much about it. They just want to see what their little sister is like.” Abhi smiled and take her hand into his palms.

Aadhya isn't nervous to meet them, as she often hangouts with her brother's friends circle. However, she still has some reservations about the meeting, especially since she did not really know anybody there.

Abhi squeezed her hand. “Don’t worry. You know Raju, right? And Arjun will be there too. You can chat with them.” 

"Alright.." Aadhya agreed.

"Then, I will pick up you on Sunday afternoon."

"Okay, drive safe on road, call me after you reach home," Aadhya waved him bye and got down from the car.

Abhi drove off from there. After she entered her room, she told everything to Keerthi and Keerthi sighed in relief.

Next day morning, Abhinav only ate a few mouthfuls of his breakfast, when his phone suddenly rang. When he picked it up, the voices coming through the phone seemed to be really excited, the voices was very loud as if they were standing right next to Abhi.

"Explain it to us ..." One of the man in the conference call interrogated.

"What do you want me to explain?"

" The matter with our little sister. I really don't know what to say, you have got a wife and you are so tight lipped about this, if it wasn't for Arjun showing off about his sister in law at office, every one would still be in the dark today. You won't let us meet her, are you afraid that we will scare her off," Ravi asked.

"I planned a gathering on Sunday, are you coming?" Abhinav asked leisurely.

"Of course, we are coming," Ravi said.

"Have Vadina agreed to come?" Arjun asked.

"Hmm .." Abhi replied.

"Can you change gathering to Monday! I have a meeting on Sunday," Kiran interrupted.

"Haha... so good, be envious, be jealous. We will meet up with little sister," Ravi poke fun at him.

"What a pity!!" Karthik joined in fun.

"You..you guys " Kiran scorned at them and said ,"My good brother will stand for me.. Aadi, aren't you busy on Sunday?"

"I don't have work," Aaditya uttered.

"If you all are that enthusiastic, then I can also skip the work," Kiran scoffed.

"Then that is decided, let's all meet on Sunday," Ravi stated.

"Uhm.." with that Abhi put off the phone.

Sreenu, the main bodyguard that Abhi assigned for Aadhya, walked in just as Abhinav finished his breakfast,

Abhi looked at him and wait for what he had to say, "Sir, someone is protecting Madam, besides the people sent by Madam's family, there's also a group of people keeping an eye out for Aaradhya madam, and after our investigation, we found that those people are from your friend Aaditya."

Abhinav was silent, after few seconds, "Okay, you can leave."

Inside the study room of a private house in a rich residential area, Aaditya stood in front of the french window,playing with the bracelet on his wrist and watching the come and go of the rushing vehicles and pedestrians. And his assistant stood behind him quietly.

It was a long time before the man spoke, " What you want to tell me?"

"Sir, Abhinav sir sent people to look after Aaradhya madam. They don't look like ordinary bodyguards, but more like specially trained professionals."

There was a hint of a smile on the Aaditya's face, "It seems Abhi really loves my little girl very much, Aadhya will be very happy with him."

And ordered his assistant," Withdraw half of our people, she will feel unsettling with many people following her. I believe Abhi can protect her."

"Yes sir," with that he left from there.

Aaditya take a trip down memory lane.,..

At that time, Aaradhya was still recuperating at the hospital , five or six years old.

One evening, Aadhya was strolling with her brother in the garden infront of the hospital. The sky was almost dark, the garden was almost empty. Anirudh was doing his homework sitting on a bench while keeping an eye on her and Aadhya was playing with a little rabbit 🐇 ..

While she was teasing the rabbit, it suddenly run towards bushes. As Aadhya chased behind it, she didn't find it, however, she found a person sitting hidden behind the bushes and instantly jumped in shock.

She was curious, sneakily went close. That person was a boy seems older than her, hiding his face in his palms and didn't notice her. Aadhya sit beside him and called him..

That person probably realised that someone was beside him, so he looked up at her.

Aadhya saw his eyes were red from crying and his face was strained with tears.

"Big brother, why are you hiding here? Did someone bullied you?" Aadhya asked quietly.

However, that boy simply ignored her. Aadhya pouted and asked again, "Big brother, it's so late, why aren't you going home? Daddy and Mommy will worry."

It seemed to have made him remember something he didn't wish to recall, tears welled up in his eyes," He isn't here."

Aadhya startled seeing his tears, asked in a small voice, " Did uncle went to somewhere?"

"He isn't here anymore, he left me and Mom alone."

Aadhya stunned and eagerly said, "Don't, don't feel sad. My Grandpa said they will watch over us from the heavens." She probably didn't know how to comfort others, stammering out the same few words. She moved closer and rubbed his head with her small hand.

After a while, Aadhya couldn't resist and asked, "Big brother, why isn't Uncle here anymore?"

"He got killed by bad people."

Aadhya then said, "I'll ask my brother to help you catch the bad people, okay. My brother is very powerful."  Big brother looked very wretched, she will definitely ask her brother to help him...

Then the boy smiled and ruffled her hair. "Ok, I'll wait for you to help me catch bad people. But you have to first tell me your name and how can you come here at this time."

" I'm Aaradhya..I stay in that hospital, I came here with my brother."

That boy looked at her silently and asked, " Why did you stay at hospital?"

"Uhm...I injured my head,so I stay at hospital..."

After that, he heard someone not far calling for someone, which sounded like little girl's name.

Aadhya beside him immediately jumped up, "Ah, my brother is calling me. I have to go. Big brother should also quickly go home" and gave him a bracelet, " This is a lucky charm..I give it to you, meet you again," with that she waved her hand and run from there.

The boy also waved his arm, watching that little girl running far away.

After that day, the boy moved to Banglore with his mother. He didn't have the chance to go back to the hospital and meet the child again.

However, after his family business returns to normal, he always had someone to keep an eye on the little girl, not harbouring any intentions, but just to see the girl,such a kind girl, what if she were bullied by someone..so he silently protected her.

Afterwards,he became a DGP and put the persons who caused his father's death behind the bars and he found out that the little girl was his best friend Abhi's cousin and is going to marry him.

On Sunday afternoon Abhi phoned Aadhya from parking lot, "I'm downstairs."

After Aaradhya got into the car, he helped her with seat belt, "Let's go now?"

"Isn't it too early?"  It would be half past 11 o'clock when they got there anyway, they might not have arrived then...

"They are very anxious about meeting you, I think that they would be there before us." Abhi said.

"Then.., let's go."
