Chapter 3: The Popluar Guy Likes Me?
<Alexander Seth Silverstream>
I silently walk down the halls to my Pre-Calc class when I hear my name being called.
"Alex!"
I shook my head and kept on walking, except a bit faster. The only people that call out my name are the bullies in school and my best friend. Now, that's a story to tell later.
"Alex, wait up!"
God darn it! Why won't this person leave me alone!? Can't he see that I don't want to hurt today?
Suddenly, my arm was grabbed and I spun around to find myself face to face with Sam Moratti. Oh joy, the last thing I need right now is to be teased by this idiot. But for some reason, I felt rebellious today.
"What?" I snapped at the taller boy.
"Geez, can't you see when someone what's to be your friend?" He asked, giving his signature smile. I groaned.
"Yes, but I really don't need a friend right now. I already have one," I replied. Sam smiled and answered.
"Who says you can't have two," Sam said, winking at me. Oh god, is he... flirting? WITH ME???
"Are you flirting with me, Moratti?" I asked, purposely calling him by his last name. At that, Sam turned bright red.
"No?" He whispered, trying not to making a crowd gather- which it already had.
My day had been crap, but I know how to make it better now. And of course, Sam could use a huge hit to his ego. I smiled sweetly at him just to get his hopes up.
"Sorry, Sam, but you're just not my type," I said, making my voice drip with honey and false sincerity. The crowd oohed when I walked away from the shocked boy.
I smiled to myself. I had just burned on of the most popular boys in school without getting hurt. My heart swelled at that thought.
Unfortunately, Sam recovered quickly and grabbed my arm again. His face was still redder than a tomato.
"Okay, we got off to a bad start. Hi, I'm-" He started but I cut him off.
"Sam Moretti. I know, dipstick." I answered. Sam looked at me in an odd way. He did look sorta cute with his pouty lips. His blonde hair looked so soft that I wanted to touch it. His blue eyes were captivating. I wanted to- NO, NO, NO. I can't fall for him. I can't trust anyone with my heart. Not again.
"Why aren't you swooning over me?" He asked after studying me for a minute. I frowned- which must have looked really cute 'cause Sam was drooling. Then, as if he got some sense knocked into him, he shook his head.
"What?" I asked, obviously pissed. This guy thinks a lot about himself. I bet it'll be his downfall.
"I asked why you weren't swooning over me like everyone else." He had the nerve to repeat himself.
"Because I'm not some shallow, idiotic bastard that wants everyone in the school to fall for him even though he's nothing special." I hissed at him.
Sam's mouth hung open after I gave my little speech. I glared at him and then turned around to go to class.
"Oh, and you might want to close your mouth, you'll catch flies," I retorted before I turned the corner. I walked into class and sat down, ignoring the whispers.
As soon as I sat down though, a blonde girl came up to me, all jumpy and cheerful.
"You're the person who stood up Sam. You're like a legend and stuff! I'm Lena!"
She was short with a blonde ponytail, a happy-go-lucky attitude, and a thousand kilowatt smile. Ugh, she's one of Sam's cronies.
Hmm, how to get rid of her, oh the many ways to do that...
WOAH! Did I just turn evil right there? Whoops! Gotta keep that in check.
"So wanna hang on Thursday?" She asked, blushing. I almost laughed. Everyone in the school knew I was gay. Guess she didn't get the memo.
"Sorry, you're very pretty and all, but I'm gay," I plainly stated it. The girl just smiled. Then, she squealed.
"Then go shopping with me! Gay people have the best fashion sense!" She said, then waved bye and skipped out the door and hugged Jake, the school's resident bad-boy and her current boyfriend.
I sighed and sat down. I didn't want to get drawn into some drama.
I really hope Sam gives up on trying to be my friend cause that's not a good thing to be.

I hope this makes you happy, Shruti. -_- Took me three hours to plan this out cause it's off my plan for the story. I wasn't playing on updating until next week. Oh well.
Bye!
