The next day

Anjali's pov

I woke up and saw my husband still sleeping and I looked at the clock ,it was 5 am and everyone was sleeping , i went to do my morning routine and changed into a simple churidar...

I went downstairs and started making food for everyone while listening to music in my airpods...

After an hour and a half...

I was humming to the song and was making the sweet dish which is also my favourite and last dish i was going to make..

I was making when I felt two hands wrapping around me , it was not his big hands but a small hand, i removed the airpods and turned around to see meera hugging me while saying...

Meera:-maa,when did you become so slim?

I chuckled at her and said...

Anjali:-i am not your mom,but your bhabhi...

Meera immediately removed her hands and ran from there by saying...

Meera:-ill be back...

I laughed at her innocence just as I turned around i again felt a hand, i thought it was meera again and said...

Anjali:-meera i didn't finished making breakfast leave...

I said and finished making food and turned around and got startled by seeing Shiva's face so close to me ...

Anjali:-oh god!! Did you plan to kill me ??

I put my hands on my chest trying to calm it down..

He was looking at me the whole time and didn't say anything...

Anjali:-why are you not talking now??

Suddenly he pouted making me laugh at him , horribly...

Anjali:-dont do that !!!

I started to laugh without even looking at him which made his expression change...
He went upstairs and I went to him but he closed the door in front of me....

Why is he acting like a baby today??

I didn't mind that much and went downstairs to get a spare key of the room and came back immediately I opened the door and saw that no one was there I looked around and saw the bathroom door was locked.. i waited for him until he opened that door.....

End of anjali's pov....

He opened the door only wearing a towel around his waist ,he didn't even take a glance at her and went to change his dress, he back to his room and was about to go downstairs but she stopped him and pinned him against the wall...

Anjali:-talk it out.. don't go all silent on me...

He didn't said anything and removed her hands and went from there... But she was confused about what happened...

Everyone woke up and got ready and sat down for breakfast...
Anjali sat beside him and meera ...Then she said...

Anjali:-maa today morning something happened do you know?

Mrs.rajput:- what happened?

Anjali:-meera hugged me and called me maa and she even said why am I so slim

Mrs.rajput:-am i that fat meera??

Meera:-maa i didn't meant like that...

Vishnu:-ofc you didn't naughty...

He said and put his hands on her head which she put down back...After finishing eating everyone went to do their jobs ... The calling bell ringed and anjali opened it and saw the event management people there ... Anjali showed them the back yard , where the party will be held... She came back and went to their room ... She saw him reading her book , she immediately snatched that away from him and said...

Anjali:-who told you touch my book when you're angry with me??

Shiva:-who told you that I am angry with you??

Anjali:-then why were you like that from the morning??

Shiva:-then what should I do ?? You didn't even recognize me when I hugged you and when I pout at you even laughed at me , you didn't give me my morning kiss , you weren't even with me when I woke up and-

Anjali:-oh my god stop it why are you behaving like a child??

Shiva:- i am being child now?

Anjali:-aree!! Look at me it's just been two days since we actually told our feelings to each other and suddenly you became all lovey-dovey ,what can I do about that?? And about morning , meera was there with me so I thought that it was meera, i have work in the morning I can't always stay with you .. what will others think?

Shiva:-why do you care about others?? I didn't even ask you to give me an explanation...

Anjali:-then what do you want??

Shiva:-i want my kiss...

Anjali:- right now?

Shiva:-yes....

She kissed him which he kissed back , his lips tasted like chocolate, while hers tasted like strawberry... She tapped his shoulder indicating that she is out of breath and he pulled away...He made her laydown in the bed and hugged her...
Anjali was about to hug him back but suddenly she heard a knock on the door. She immediately got up and went to open the door..

Anjali:-hey aparna ,what happened??

Aparna:-here...

She gave anjali a dress and said...

Aparna:-mom told you and him to wear it at the party....

Anjali:-sure...

Anjali hugged aparna for a moment and aparna didnt try to resist it , they knew that they both needed that hug... And aparna broke the hug and went by saying tears in her eyes...

Aparna:-i have to go...

Anjali closed the door and put the dress on the table and sat on the bed,seeing her like this shiva pulled her into a hug...

Shiva:-aree!! Don't become sad now!

Anjali:- I'm fine, im gonna go to mom ....

Shiva:-fine...

Shiva started scrolling in his phone and anjali went to her mom who was sitting on the couch...She went down there and placed her head on her mother's lap..

Mrs.malhotra:-what is this now?? You are in your husband's house , don't sleep on my lap...

Before anjali can say anything , mrs.rajput spoke...

Mrs.rajput:-why are you scolding her ?? Everyone loves to sleep at their mothers lap...

Anjali:-tell her maa, she don't even like her daughter to be on her lap...

Anjali said and went to his moms side..

Mrs.malhotra:-you little monkey..

Anjali:-maa she called me monkey....

She complained to mrs.rajput..She chuckled at them...

Mrs.rajput:-you wanted to sleep right? Sleep on my lap and let us talk...

Anjali:-you are the best mom....

She said and slept for a while in her lap while they gossiped about others...

She woke up at 12.30 pm.. and saw that she was in her room...She looked around and find shiva working on the laptop.
She went to him and sat on his lap her hands around his neck like a baby...
He hugged you back and asked...

Shiva:-finished sleeping?

Anjali:-hmm my back was hurting me now it's fine ...

Shiva:-hmm

Anjali:-did you see the dress mom got us?

Shiva:-hmm

Anjali:-how was it?

Shiva:-hmm...

Anjali:-why are you humming only??

She said and lifted her head up blocking his view to the computer, he turned his head started again working at the computer... She closed the laptop angrily making him shout at her...

Shiva:-what the hell are you doing ?!!!!!

He shouted which made her flinch badly , making her remembering how he treated her some days ago...

Shiva:-can't you see I'm working?? Now I have to write these document again...

Anjali:-im sorry...

Her voice which can tell anyone that she is about to cry her eyes gathered the tears She immediately stood up and went to the bathroom and locked her self in...

He sighed and opened the laptop and the file was saved automatically, he regretted that he shouted at her, he waited for her to come out but she didnt.. he heard a knock on the door....It was meera...

Meera:-mom told you both to come down to eat ....

Shiva:-we will be down in a minute ...

With that he closed the door and went to the bathroom door and said...

Shiva:-mom is calling us for dinner,plzz come out , I'm sorry that I shouted earlier..Plzz forgive me nahh...

With that he left the room , she washed her face and came downstairs. She satt near him..They all eat while talking...

As it was afternoon some went to sleep and meera and anjali watched dramas for about 3 hours..

It was 4 pm so anjali went to make coffee for everyone , she was doing her work when she felt someone's presence , she knew who it was but she still didn't turned or looked back...

Shiva:-you know that I said sorry , and I know it's my fault , what should I do now to make you happy?

She ignored him and started making the coffee into cups, she went past him and put it on the table...

Anjali:-meera go and call everyone for coffee ...

Meera:-sure...

She came back to the kitchen and finished washing the plates...
Suddenly anjali got dragged towards the store room which is beside the kitchen...

Shiva:-i am sorry!!!

Anjali:-leave my hand...

Shiva:-anjali why can't you accept that I am sorry...

Anjali:-learn your lessons and I am not the one who should apologize always...

Shiva:-you know today is our special day why can't you just let go??

Anjali:-get your hands off me..

He bend down and put his hands on her legs and said...

Shiva:-im sorry that I always shouted at you

She removed his hands from her legs and went from there...

Everyone came and sat down and meera
asked her...

Meera:-bhabhi ,i have a gift for you. Do you want it??

Anjali:-what is it??

Meera:-wait until 1 hour...

Anjali:-the gift is only for me??

Meera:-ofc who else should I give it??

Anjali:- i mean isnt there a gift for him??

Meera:-bhabhi, the boys will take care of that..I don't have a role...

Vishnu:-how can you Leave your brothers gift to others..

Meera:-that doesn't concern you...

Vishnu:-you little one , he is my bestfriend...

Meera:-oh then did you have a gift for him?

Vishnu:-ofc i do.. i have gift for both of them a special one...

Meera:-i am so excited now...

After drinking and talking, they all went to change their dresses...

Their outifits...

They were changing the dress when she couldn't hook the blouse, his hand came acrossed hers and hooked it...She didnt even said thank you to him and got ready

In the event at night

Everyone sat down here...

Meera:-this is soo beautiful....

Anjali:-yeah it is...

Mr.rajput:-my selection won't be bad...

Mrs.rajput:-atleast you know that honey...

Mr.rajput :-expect you..

Everyone laughed at them...But Shiva's mind was filled with anjali...

Meera:-well, everyone let's cut the cake then start giving gifts ...

All:-okk...

Meera:-guys first you guys pose like this behind the cake , i wanna take a photo..

Anjali:-okk..

They stood each other like he was kissing her forehead and he really did... anjali could feel the pain in his kiss, she looked at his eyes for a moment but it broke when meera said...

Meera:-cut the cake guys...

They cut the cake and everyone took a piece, then they all sat down in the garden ...

Mrs.rajput:-ok so this is my gift...

She gave it to them and anjali opened it ..

Anjali:-mom this is soo good..

Shiva:-thanks mom ....

Mr.rajput:-here open mine it will be better than hers....

Everyone laughed at the gift....

Anjali:-papa what is this??

Mr.rajput:-you will learn in life that your wife is always right..

Everyone laughed and shiva said...

Shiva:-you are right papa I'm learning it ...

Anjali gave him a little slap on his thighs.
Then her father spoke

Mr.malhotra :-now open mine...

anjali:-aww i love it

Shiva:-its very good thought of you

Anjali:-so meera what is my gift?...

Meera pointed to a side as anjali saw neenu came towards running her , she immediately stood up on her knees and hugged her , her eyes filled with tears , she hugged meera and said...

Anjali:-meera i love this gift...

She sat back with neenu on her hands and shiva gave her tissues.. she took and wiped her tears ....

Shiva:-so where is my gift?

Anirudh and akshay pulled out his favourite wine and said

Anirudh and akshay:-here you go bro , make sure you enjoy it ...

Shiva:-thanks

shiva said forcing a smile...

Meera asked suddenly as their eyes widen
