Chapter question: How many children do you want Sophie and Keefe to have?
I want them, personally, to have either two or three... but I'd definitely be okay with a surprise fourth xD

"Adela," Fitz finished.
"Adela?" Sophie grinned.
"It sounds like Alden," Ashla said. "That won Fitz over."
"It also starts with an A for Ashla," Fitz reminded. "And Ashla threatened me if I didn't pick the name."
"How?" Keefe asked, grinning. "I need pointers."
"I threatened him by saying if he doesn't name her Adela, every time the baby cries, he's in charge of taking care of it. Dirty diapers, feeding the formula, and burping. He'd also be in charge of making her go back to sleep. Now, think of that happening every night and all day. . . " Ashla smirked at Fitz who rolled his eyes. "Yeah, he agreed on the name."
Keefe stared in awe. "You're an evil genius." His eyes widened. "Please teach me your ways."
"Yeah, well you get extra crabby when you're pregnant. You can't do that, so I'm sorry. But, hey, I could teach your wife some stuff instead so she can threaten you."
Keefe waved her off. "I'd rather you not."
She laughed and turned to Fittz "Your turn to hold the baby."
He grinned and they slowly switched the baby from her arms to his. He grinned down at his daughter before looking at all his friends. "When can her aunt hold her?" Biana asked, peering over his shoulder at the baby.
"When my turn is over I guess I can let you hold her," Fitz said.
"Hey, I want to hold her too," Sophie said, smiling at the baby.
"You can hold her after me," Biana said. "The boys aren't allowed to hold the baby," she added, looking at Dex and Keefe who were standing together by the door just staring.
"Why?" Keefe asked, frowning.
"You're more likely to drop the baby," Ashla said. "Me and the girls all agreed that you three are only allowed to hold babies of your own blood."
"When did you come up with this?" Fitz asked, frowning.
"Um. . . Sophie and Keefe's wedding day. We were waiting for it to start together and in the middle of getting ready. . . Then we came up with it," Biana said. "It was Ashla's idea when we talked about who got to hold the baby first after it was born."
"Yeah, we all tried to imagine you guys holding babies and all of us got scared that you guys would joke or something and drop them," Ashla added in.
"The I said of course you guys had the right to hold your own kids," Sophie said.
"And so you're only allowed to hold your own," Biana finished.
"Um, how come you guys get to decide what we do?" Keefe asked, frowning.
"Yeah, what if I said I was okay with Keefe or Dex holding the baby," Fitz jumped in, frowning.
"How about you carry her in your stomach for nine months and we'll see," Ashla said, raising an eyebrow in warning.
Fitz turned the guys. "Sorry, I'm out of the fight." He turned to Sophie. "But seriously, you agreed with this?"
She smiled awkwardly. "Well. . . I mean, I was in a bad state of mind when I agreed."
"Bad state of mind?" Keefe looked at her in confusion.
"Oh yeah," Ashla commented. "She was bridezilla. We could have asked her to sell us her soul and she would've said whatever as long as we did what she said."
"Yeah, what she said," Sophie said, gesturing. "Hey, at least I put in some sense. They weren't even going to let you all hold your own kids."
"You're all crazy."
"You guys are the ones who married us," Sophie reminded.
"Technically I haven't married Biana yet," Dex pointed out, raising an arm.
"Aww, cute you think you're getting out of that," Biana commented, patting his arm.
Everyone laughed and Dex rolled his eyes.
"No, but seriously, we're all going to talk about this agreement later."
___
"Guess what!" Sophie shouted, barging into Mr. Forkle's house. She stopped when she saw that her human family was there. "Oh, hi guys."
"What, Sophie?" Mr. Forkle asked, raising an eyebrow.
She grinned. "I'm a Godmother!"
"Ashla and Fitz's had their baby?" He smiled. "So, Cambria or Callia?"
"Neither," Sophie said. "They named her Adela."
"Adela Vacker?" Mr. Forkle nodded. "That sounds nice."
"I used the phone you got and here's a picture," she said, taking out the human phone she used to contact Amy. She showed him the pictures she had taken. "She's going to be so spoiled."
"She's beautiful," he said.
"Well, all of us technically are," she said, rolling her eyes. "And what's even better is she got Ashla's blue eyes and not Fitz's. Usually all the Vacker's eyes are the same blue shade as the Vacker parent."
"What's Ashla's maiden name?"
Her eyes widened. "Uh. . . Holy crap." She frowned. "I used to know it but I've been so used to listening to Ashla Vacker I forgot to remember her original name."
"You're best friends with this girl?" Mr. Forkle chuckled.
"Well, technically Dex is my best friend. Biana is my best female friend. Fitz was my childhood crush and Ashla's the one he chose over me." She shrugged. "But I don't care anymore because Keefe is so much better than Fitz."
"Come on, after you got your list you gave up on being with Fitz before even really thinking about it." Forkle rolled his eyes. "You basically picked Keefe before really picking."
She shrugged. "There's nothing wrong with that. I love Keefe." Her Imparter beeped and she sighed. "Speaking of the devil. He's probably home from work." She held up her pointer finger and walked to another room.
"Oh yeah, I forgot she told me Keefe got a job," Amy said, frowning.
"You talk to her?" Mr. Forkle questioned.
"Yeah. We talk on the phone everyday between the times when she gets out of her work with Bronte and I finish working on school work for the day," Amy explained. "I actually already knew the baby was born."
"You know about her work with Bronte?" Mr. Forkle gasped.
Amy frowned. "Yeah? What's so big about it?"
"That's official work. Only her closest friends and her adoptive parents know. I didn't even know until Bronte asked for my help on something and I went to his office and she was there sorting out names for him."
"I feel really good about myself now," Amy said, grinning.
Sophie came back into the room with a sigh. "Sorry, that was Keefe."
"Do you need to leave?" Mr. Forkle asked. "Not that you were really invited in the first place and really you just stormed into my house."
She rolled her eyes. "No, he's going to hang out with Dex to talk over the wedding. He was calling to tell me that he won't be back in time for dinner."
"You could have dinner with us," Forkle said.
"Are you kidding? Since Keefe isn't with me I can go over Ashla and Fitz's house and not feel guilty holding the baby!" She grinned.
"Why?"
"Oh, is this about that deal you made with Biana and Ashla where the guys can't hold the babies?" Amy guessed.
Sophie nodded. "Yeah."
"Woah, you know more than I do. I can read the girl's mind but you know more than I do," Mr. Forkle said, eyes wide.
"I have a lot of memories, remember?" She tilted her head slightly to her parents who were sitting right next her, confused.
Sophie looked at them and tuned into Kate's thoughts. Reading minds? Funny. But really, how does Amy know so much?
Sophie nodded to Amy. "I'll call you tomorrow. I'm going to go to Fitz's and Ashla's house. Bye Forkle."
___
"Well, today was fun," Keefe said, sitting down on the bed.
"I got to hold the baby again," Sophie said, grinning. "I'm really sorry about making the deal with them. Not that it would matter. If I didn't agree all it would mean is Fitz and Dex holding any future kids of ours. Nothing to do with you."
"It still sucks," Keefe said.
"Anyways, what did you and Dex figure out?"
"I'm the best man and Ashla is going to be the maid-of-honor," he said.
"I already knew this stuff." Sophie rolled her eyes.
"Yeah. Oh, his siblings are going to be doing something in the wedding. We don't know what yet but they'll be doing something."
Sophie nodded. "How are the triplets? Have you talked to them lately?"
"I talk to them about as much as you talk to them. Just because I'm Dex's best guy friend and talk to him more than you do lately because I'm in his part of the wedding doesn't mean I all of a sudden started getting into his family affairs."
She rolled her eyes. "I didn't say that."
He shrugged. "Did you visit Forkle?"
She nodded. "Yeah. He said that Adela is beautiful. I'm sorry, though. Now that we're along I'm going to tell you a secret."
He grinned. "What?"
"So I was texting Amy and told her-"
"Texting?"
"Like, writing letters only really short and they get sent really quickly to the other person's cell phone. I've explained cell phones, correct?" He nodded. "Anyways, I wast texting her and she reminded me of this singer that was very popular around the time that I was brought here, Adele. Now whenever I hear the name Adela, the songs by Adele on my iPod go through my mind."
"What's so bad about Adele?"
"Adele and bad in the same sentence? Ha, no. She's one of the few singers who connect to like, everyone. Like, all her songs are about relationships but even people not in relationships connect with her. It's amazing."
"She sounds... Impossible."
Sophie's eyes lit up and she took the cell phone in her pocket out. "Please tell me that YouTube is still going strong," she said, looking at the sky.
"YouTube?"
"A website where humans posted videos. It was very popular when I became a full-time elf and I'm wondering if they gave up on it yet." She looked it up and grinned when she saw it was still there. "Oh thank gosh. Anyways, I'll look up a video of her. Man, the internet connection is amazing here." She let out a awkward cough. "Oh yeah, I just remembered. Dex did that for me when we moved in as a house warming present."
She shook her head, chuckling to herself while pulling up a video of Adele singing Rolling in the Deep. "I don't know if any songs since then are more popular, but this song was the song to listen to when I listened to her songs."
After listening he frowned. "None of it made sense to me."
She stared in shock. "What?"
"What are they rolling in?"
"The deep!"
"The deep of what?"
"The deepness of their relationship. I don't know." Her eyes lit up. "Songs don't usually flat out tell you the story. It usually takes analyzing."
"Who has time for that?"
"Okay, it's not meant for you to try and analyze it. It's meant for you to listen to the words and how they fit with the beat and they're supposed to make you feel good."
"They make me feel confused."
"Okay, that's it," she said, putting the phone on a desk in their room. "I'm never showing you anything human again."
"No, no, I'm really intrigued in the music. There must be at least one song that at least flat out tells the story."
"Country music," she said.
"The show me country music," he sad, rolling his eyes.
"What about pop-country?" She said. "I'm pretty sure you'd make fun of regular country music," she said, taking out the phone. "I'll let you listen to... Taylor Swift. She's not the worst country singer. I don't know about any of her recent music or if she still makes it, but she used to have this really popular song called Love Story."
"Love story?" He asked, raising an eyebrow.
"Shh, and listen."
After they were done he frowned. "Who's Juliet?"
"Oh my gosh," Sophie said. "Her. She's Juliet."
"You said her name was Taylor!"
