Chapter One
a/n: I love you guys! Thank you for giving me enough votes and comments to make me feel confident enough to write a sequel c:
and thank you for following it to the second account
I have a picture of three 'wedding dresses' on the side and it would be amazing if you could vote on a dress
(note: they are normal dresses but when I imagine the elves getting married I just can't picture them in big poofy Cinderella dresses and these seem more Elvin in my mind)
good news: Shannon answered my question by saying I can use my imagination about the wedding (it's just a fanfic after all) so that means;
THERE WILL BE A WEDDING IN THIS BOOK
and it will be my own weird version of what I imagine an Elvin wedding to be...

"No, she can't wear that," Ashla said with a scoff. "It's too fancy."
"But it's beautiful and it's a wedding dress," Biana defended her favorite.
"Biana, sweetie, it's just not Sophie," Marella said softly, putting her hand on Biana's arm.
"But- but-"
"But nothing," Ashla said. "You can wear it when you get married."
"But I'm not getting married and it'll be one hundred years before Dex mans up and proposes. He's the only guy I plan on marrying in the next two hundred years so-"
"Okay guys, what about this one?" Sophie came out in a long white dress that reached her ankles. It hugged the top portion of her body and flowed nicely from her waist down.
Everyone looked, but shook their heads. Sophie groaned. "That's it, I'm getting married naked."
"That sounds like the title of some human show," Biana said with a laugh.
Sophie rolled her eyes. "I just want to find a dress," she said, laying down on the couch facing the area where she was supposed to be modeling the dress.
"Aww, honey. . . We know. Your dress is here, I'm sure-"
"This is the only dress shop in the lost cities."
"And that's why," Biana finished. "This is the only dress shop in the lost cities and this is the only possible place for your dress to be!" She smiled. "Now, get off your butt and keep looking!"
Sophie grinned and sat up. "Thank you!" She quickly ran off.
"Really?" Ashla asked, eyes wide in shock.
Biana laughed. "Gosh no, Sophie hates everything that doesn't have pants."

"Did you find a dress?" Edaline asked, taking a sip of her bottle of youth.
Sophie nodded while taking a sip of hers. "Yeah, it's beautiful. I'll show you later."
"So, where's Keefe?" Edaline asked, smiling.
"I. . . Uh, I think Fitz took him to go look at some houses," she said, nodding to herself.
"What?" Edaline asked, eyes wide.
She nodded. "Yeah, I told him he could pick out a few houses and then I would choose from the ones he chose. We're going to move in together before the wedding. That's fine, right?"
Edaline nodded. "Yeah, that's fine. . . I just didn't think this would go so sudden, you know?" She ran around the counter separating the two and squeezed Sophie. "My twelve year old girl's all grown up!" Sophie looked at her with confusion. "Well, you weren't my baby," she said as if it was obvious.
Sophie laughed at Edaline, rolling her eyes. "I'm counting down the days," she said, smiling.
"How many?" Edaline asked, moving back to her spot on the other side of the counter.
"Forty-two," she stated proudly. "There's eight days until we move in together."
"That's-"
"Thirty-four days of living together without being married?" Sophie cut Edaline off with a frown. "Don't worry, we're sleeping in separate rooms and-"
"Sophie," Edaline cut her off. "I was going to say that's nice. It's cute how you count the days."
Sophie smiled. "Thanks, Mom."
Edaline put a hand on her shoulder for a second before pulling back. "Is Keefe coming over tonight?"
Sophie nodded. "Yeah, probably after looking at the houses. Today is the deadline for him to choose because tomorrow is the deadline for me to choose. We don't want to make it so last minute and it's only eight days, seven tomorrow. . . " She let out a sigh.
Edaline nodded in understanding. "So. . . sleeping in separate rooms?"
Sophie let out a small chuckle. "Yeah, it was his idea. He didn't want to make me feel uncomfortable," she explained, looking behind Edaline as the doors opened.
"Sophie, I found the best house ever," Fitz said, coming in a step ahead of Keefe.
"Yeah, it's awesome and you're going to love it," Keefe agreed, nodding.
"What about how you said you were going to look at more than one?" Sophie sighed.
"This one is really good and you'll love it and if you don't, then we can look at some other stuff together tomorrow," Keefe said, wrapping his arms around her waist. She wrapped her arms around his neck.
"If I don't like it I'm blaming you," she told him, leaning up and kissing his cheek quickly before pulling away. She looked to Fitz. "Wanna stay?"
He shook his head. "Nah, I promised Ashla I'd be home by now, which I'm not and she's probably going to kill me." He leaned over and gave Sophie a quick kiss on the cheek. "Bye Soph," he said before opening the door to leave. He quickly ran back in. "Sorry, bye Keefe."
Keefe rolled his eyes. "Bye, Fitz. Go, leave us for the Mrs."
Fitz nodded. "I will," he said before quickly running out.
Sophie let out a laugh before turning to Keefe. "Is it really that good?"
"What?" He asked, confused.
"The house," she said, whacking his arm. "Is it really that good?"
Keefe nodded. "Yeah, Fitz showed me and it's amazing. It was his and Ashla's second choice. They ended up picking their house because it's bigger. The house is actually close to the size of this place, though."
Sophie smiled. "That's amazing. How many rooms?"
Keefe frowned. "Uh... Well, didn't count those but there are three floors."
"How many rooms on each floor?" She asked, rolling her eyes.
He stared at her in annoyance. "I'm not stupid. I would've told you if I knew."
"How about going into your photographic memory and trying to figure it out." She raised an eyebrow.
"I only looked at the first two floors. We looked at too many houses and it was getting dark and I promised I'd come over tonight and tell you about it all, so I never looked at the top floor."
She nodded, crossing her arms over her chest. "Okay. Well, come over tomorrow morning and you can show me," she said.
He nodded, and quickly pecked her lips. "Love you."
"Love you, too. Good night."
He opened the door and waved. "Good night," he said before walking away.
