Tried to make it long and that didn't work out since I had to stop writing to sleep but oh well. not reread or edited.
"Come on guys, we have one day to wrap it up, not even," Sophie said, clapping her hands. "Biana, what you got?"
"Bridesmaid dresses are in place and ready to be worn. Your vows are on note cards and edited and changed around for perfection."
Sophie nodded. "Ashla?"
"Flowers are in set and the place has all the seating ready."
"Mom?"
"Your dad and I have all the cards with people's name on them for their seat placements. Ceria checked in and the music is all set too."
She smiled. "Okay, and Marella?"
"I don't have anything prepared. . . " She trailed off. "I just thought I was supposed to show up."
Sophie grinned. "Yep, and you will be?"
Marella rolled her eyes. "Yes, I'll be there. On time and everything, too!"
Sophie laid back in her seat. "Finally, i can rel-" She sat up in alarm. "My wedding dress!"
"It's packed with the bridesmaid dresses," Edaline stated calmly. "Now, just sit back and relax. You're getting married tomorrow. That's when you worry. Right now you just think about anything but."
Sophie nodded. "Is this really happening?"
"Yep. You're no longer going to be single," Ashla said.
Sophie scoffed. "I never was single."
"You know what I mean," Ashla replied, smiling.
"Hey, married woman not allowed to talk. Let us single-ladies talk," Biana cut in.
"Um, aren't you dating Dex?" Marella asked, frowning.
Biana nodded before rolling her eyes. "That's obviously not what I meant."
Marella nodded. "In that case, technically I'm single too."
Sophie resisted singing a human song about being single, and instead watched her friends start arguing about their love lives. Edaline sat back with her. "So, you ready?" Edaline whispered.
Sophie nodded. "I mean, I love him. Nothing's going to change except that I will be a Sencen now."
Tears filled Edaline's eyes. "You should make Foster your middle name or something to keep it."
Sophie almost laughed. "Everyone knows me as Sophie Foster. I think it sounds cool to change my name to my husband's. So many people in the human world hyphenate theirs now or just don't change anything. I know here everyone changes their name, but it's not like I'm looking to be anymore different. If I want to be Sophie Sencen I'll be Sophie Sencen and I'm ready for that."
Edaline grinned. "That's my girl."
They both turned to her friends who were still debating about who was single and who wasn't. "Okay, guys, just give it up," Sophie begged. "For me," she pleaded even more when they didn't stop.
"I guess I can let it off the hook for now. . . " Biana trailed off before grinning. "So, anything you want to do before you get married?"
Sophie shook her head. "No, nothing stands out to me."
Biana sighed. "Really? Nothing? We're up for doing anything you want to do."
Sophie shrugged. "Maybe we can go visit Silveny, though you guys can't actually go up to her since you know. I think it'd be nice to see her again before I get married. It would be nice to see little Sophia, too."
___
Sophie! Friend! Silveny transmitted the second Sophie walked through the doors.
"Silveny! Are you good?"
Sophia! Baby! Good! Healthy! Silveny said.
Sophie laughed slightly, but didn't say anything. She just stared at Silveny with a grin.
Keefe? Keefe!
"Keefe's not with me right now. Maybe Keefe can come visit another time," Sophie answered.
Keefe? She asked with sadness.
"Keefe is with some of his friends right now."
Friends?
"Yes, friends. Remember Fitz," she tried to job Silveny's memory.
Fitz? She transmitted some images of Fitz standing next to Sophie.
Sophie nodded. "Yes, Fitz. Keefe is with Fitz right now," she said soothingly. "Where's Sophia, anyways?"
A new voice entered her mind as a small alicorn flew into Sophie's view. Friend! Sophie!
Sophie grinned. "Hi Sophia," she greeted. "Are you good?"
Sophia! Healthy! Silveny answered instead.
Sophie grinned and started to stroke through Silveny's mane. "I can't stay long, but I can stay long enough."
___
"Sophie! Wake up! It's today!" Sophie heard shouting and people running through her house in the downstairs. She shot up from the bed and ran to the top of the stairs.
"What are you guys doing?" She asked, rubbing her eyes sleepily.
"You're getting married today!" Biana shouted. "We're getting all the dresses and make-up down here and ready. Go take a shower!"
Sophie just nodded, not even really acknowledging anything Biana had said since she was still half asleep.
When she got out of the shower and was dressed in a simple outfit she was truely hit with the fact. "GUYS I'M GETTING MARRIED TODAY!" She shouted, running down the stairs.
Everyone laughed while setting up everything.
___
"So, how much time do we have to kill until the wedding starts?" Dex asked, sitting on Fitz's couch.
Keefe sighed. "It starts in about four hours. We have about two and half hours before getting ready."
"Excited?" FItz asked, sitting on the other side of Keefe.
Keefe nodded. "Yeah. . . I mena, it's Sophie."
"Hey, all of us liked Sophie at one point," Dex pointed out. "I mean, I don't anymore," he said when he noticed Fitz glare. "I obviously only like your sister," he told him.
Fitz nodded once before looking back at Keefe. "And I'm married anyways, but yeah I used to like her. You know you have a keeper when your finace was crushed on by basically everybody."
Dex laughed. "Man, that's so true."
"Yeah. You have a keeper whether she's been crushed on by everyone or not," Fitz told him. "Speaking of all the girls, how do you think they're doing?"
Dex shrugged. "The girls are pretty good with big stuff. I'm pretty sure they're handling everything smoothly."
___
"WHERE DID YOU PUT MY DRESS?" Sophie shouted.
"I didn't touch your dress, I swear!" Biana shouted, holding her hands up in defense.
"Then where is it?" She asked, her eyes wide in panic. She turned to Edaline, who was walking into the room. "I lost my dress," she told Edaline, trying not to scream.
Edaline waved her off. "No, I've got your dress all handled. Right now we need to focus on your face. You're naturally beautiful so it'll be natural make-up. We just need to enhance everything."
Sophie nodded, calming down. "The music is ready, right?" She asked, sitting down. Biana nodded. "And the flowers, seating, the outfits for the guys?"
"Outfits for the guys?" Ashla asked, "I though they were just going to wear guys suits and call it a day?" She frowned.
"Well they at least need standards! What if one of them shows up in orange?"
"Then he can look like a doofus. No one cares about how anyone looks except you and Keefe," Ashla assured. "I don't even think Keefe owns anything orange. He seems more of a blues and greens guy. . . Maybe some black."
Sophie nodded. "Is the food set up?"
"That was Della's job," Edaline said, fixing a piece of Sophie's hair.
"Della? Oh crap, we forgot to put her in the wedding!"
"She's going to be one of the 'couple witnesses' with Alden. Don't worry, everyone is all figured out," Ashla said.
"I can't do this," Sophie said, standing up and almost making Edaline fall. "I can't sit here and have you guys do my make up when there are things that need to be done!" She started to pace around the room."
"Sophie, stop worrying! We're going to be alright. You need to calm down and look good. If you don't look good, we're not allowed to look good," Biana tried to convince her.
"But you guys look good without even trying," Sophie argued. "I don't! I need the make-up! But I don't have time!"
___
"Should we start getting ready?" Fitz asked as he let Alden walk through the door with Grady.
"Yes, probably. Biana and Marella will be here in a few seconds to help you guys get ready," Grady told him.
"Did you talk to the girls?" Dex asked.
"Yeah, but we left as soon as we can. Girls and weddings just shouldn't go together. They freak out insanely." Grady almost laughed. "Sophie is refusing to let them touch her for anything and they're freaking out about it and then Sophie is freaking out about them freaking out about it and it's just this one huge thing."
Keefe laughed. "Why won't she let anyone touch her?"
"Because she wants everything in place before she gets ready. Everything is already in place and they tried to tell her but she wouldn't listen and it's just for the better we leave the girls to be girls." He looked at Keefe. "Just promise me you're not wearing orange."
"Orange? Why would I wear orange?"
"Because wedding nerves are getting at the girls' butts. That's why," he said, laughing.
