Authors note: well, aren't I a butt? I left this for moths without and update or a word. I apologize for that my laptop officially became junk and I have no current funds to buy a new one or replace the necessary parts. On top of that so much has happened, that I couldn't even begin to tell you since this would be even longer.

However I also have a confession to make. As much as I love Gravity Falls, it's been a very long time since I've been involved in the Fandom. The original story I wrote when I was very involved, and I'd had a lot of fun writing it. However this sequel was made when I was already disenchanted, and moving on. I decided to write it since I kept saying I was going to do one. Now though, I'm struggling to come back to it. I love writing but I find it hard to write about something that I'm not passionate about,so bare with me.

I will keep writing, and I'll try finish this story (as well as one other that I'd left for a while as well) , but afterwards I will not be writing anymore fanfiction. I will instead be writing my own stories.

I hope you guys can still support me

Thank you

Now on to the story!

The sun was beating down rather harshly on Gravity falls this morning. The town streets were abandoned for the cool shade of the stores or the safe haven of the public pool.

Dipper was stuck in a very long (or rather it seemed that way) car ride with his great uncles and Mabel. Mabel was talking business with Stan about how Mabel could increase sales on her sweaters, with Stan suggesting to put in hidden air coolers so that Mabel's customers have no choice but to buy them. Ford was driving while quietly moving his head to the beat of an old song playing on the cars radio. Dipper didn't recognize it, but enjoyed the slow beat and the low hum of the singers voice.

From his window Dipper could see a yellow bird flying overhead. Dipper smiles, his family so far haven't caught on to Bill's presence, although there have been very close calls. They seem unaware, or at least he hoped so. Dipper peers at Ford through the corner of his eye, Ford was now talking to Mabel about her store as well. Granted she was currently running the store from her dorm room, but she really wanted to run her own store. Ford suggested asking Soos to rent out a space in the Mystery shack. Dipper tunes out once again looking at the bird still keeping up with the car relatively easy.

After what must have been a good half an hour later, the car comes to halt as the road ends and a single dirt path begins. Dipper get out the car taking a long stretch before grabbing his hicking stick and backpack. Everyone piles out grabbing their belongings and beginning up the trail. Stan had suggested the hike to Dippers surprise, but Stan insisted that this was a good idea. Eventually everyone caved and now here they were.

There was camp site at the end of the trail that they'd be staying in. Dipper already knew there wasn't, he'd been to this trail before it's a roughly three hour hike that ends at a cliff overlooking Gravity Falls. However Dipper had taken it upon himself to pack sleeping bags, while Mabel packed an extraordinary amount of food in her camp bag. Ford packed practical things, like a compass and map, matches blankets, ect. Stan packed... Dipper had no clue what Stan had packed, but for some reason his bag was looking very lumpy and overstuffed.

Dipper tried not to think about it and focused on the walk. A small bird was sitting in the tree a little further on tucked in between the branches. Dipper only noticed since he'd been looking for it in the trees and hearing the tweet from the bird when he got close.

A small signal not out of place, it was comforting knowing that Bill was close by. Dipper was more at ease, he'd had a bad feeling all day. Which is why Bill was firm on coming, to both put Dippers mind at ease and make sure nothing happened. Dipper could tell that Bill was having the same feeling of something bad on the horizon.

By the time Dipper, Mabel,Stan and Ford got to the end of the trail the sun had become less harsh, as the day stretched to afternoon. Stan and Ford got into an argument about the campsite or lack there of. Mabel and Dipper put an end to it, by suggesting Stan and Ford go back and get the tents Dipper brought while him and Mabel set up the site for camping. Stan and Ford agreed leaving the younger twins to clear the area.

The place was ready fourty five minutes later, and with nothing to do the twins just tried to kill time. Mabel had brought wool and her needles and was knitting, while Dipper set off into the woods for a walk.

It wasn't long before Dipper heard the signal from Bill. He looked around quickly making sure he'd gone far enough not to be seen. Dipper kept his voice low.

"It's clear" He waited for a moment before the yellow bird flew down landing on his shoulder. Before Dipper could react the bird formed into a full grown Bill who tackled him to the floor. Dipper yelped in surprise, as he hit the ground his fall somewhat broken by Bill's arms around him. Dipper turned around, looking at the demon above him with smile.

"How long have you been waiting for this?" Dipper asks hooking his arms around Bill's neck. Bill chuckles kissing Dippers forehead.

"Since I started following the car" Bill flops down next to Dipper on the ground bringing Dipper in close. The quiet breeze rustling the trees was an almost hypnotic noise. As Dipper relaxed against Bill sighing into his partners shirt. Bill kissed the top of Dippers head serenely.

The sun blinks between the trees as the leaves shake gently in the lazy wind.

"Dipper?" Bill says breaking the peaceful moment.

"yeah?" Dipper mumbles, lifting his head towards his partner.

"Will you meet me at the cliff face tonight?"

"The one nearby our campsite?" Dipper inquires. Bill smiles and nods enthusiastically. Dipper smiles emused by Bill's excitement.

"Absolutely, I'll meet you once everyone is asleep" Dipper sits up kissing Bill on the lips. Dipper looks behind him towards the camp.

"I should head back, I'll see you tonight" Dipper kisses Bill once more before heading back. Bill watches him leave, waving until he was out of sight. Bill's smile faded, as he teleported himself deeper into the woods. Bill takes a breath before trying to summon a portal. Sparks flick between his fingers before fizzling out. He tries again, blue energy forms before dissappearing.

"This is bad" Bill muttered to himself.

*********

By the time Dipper got back, a very tired duo had made their way back. The sun was starting to set as Mabel warmed up some canned soup, which she'd insisted on getting because the pasta was shaped like dinasours.

Dipper sipped the soup slowly listening to Ford and Stan recount their tales of adventure on the seas. Mabel seem captivated, while Dippers mind was wondering to other thoughts. The uncomfortable feeling was building, as if something was getting closer, closing them in.

As the embers of the fire began to glow with it's last bit of energy, Stan, Ford and Mabel all went to bed. Dipper went to his tent and sat inside and waited until he heard the snores of his uncle Stan, before heading to the cliff.

It was a rather short walk from the campsite, the cliff was past a small clump of trees putting his and Bill's meeting spot out of sight. Dipper had seen it when he'd gone into the forest to meet Bill earlier.

As Dipper reached the cliff he found Bill sitting on a small blanket on the ground, small balls of light that almost looked like fireflies danced around him. The lights illuminated the small plate of fruit and sandwiches spread, on the blue striped material of the blanket. Dipper smiles and sits down next to Bill greeting him with a kiss.

"Hello Pinetree" Bill grins happily, Dipper smiles back.

"Hello Bill" he kisses Bill again before picking up some raspberries from the plate and popping a few into his mouth. Dipper smiled as the sweet juice filled his mouth.

"I remembered how much you liked them so I went looking for some" Bill watches as Dipper takes a few more, savoring the taste as he licks his lips satisfied. He stares at the stars that cover the clear night sky, the wind slowly blowing a cool air through the trees. Dipper shivers a little as the cold wind raises goosebumps on his skin. Bill moves close to Dipper wrapping his arms around him, to warm him. Dipper leans back into his embrace with a content sigh.

The two say nothing for a while just enjoying the others presence, watching the sky. Dipper feels his body relax, against his partner his eyes slowly closing.

"Dipper?" Bill mutters,Dipper mumbles a response half asleep. The events of the day had caught up with him, making his eyelids feel heavy.

"I love you" Bill whispers

"I love you too" Dipper yawns as sleep takes hold of him. Bill smiles closing his eyes and resting his head on Dippers shoulders.
