Sophie POV:
I slowly open my eyes and straight away a flood of light and colour hit me, bringing on what feels like a migraine.
"Sophie?" Someone says. My vision clears more and I see beautiful blonde hair and deep ice-blue eyes that simply take my breath away.
"K-Keefe?" I say. I then feel so cold and i start to shiver. I then look at my surroundings and I'm in a dimly lit room with only Keefe and a few lights. I tense up then ask."Where are we?"
Keefe then says, "Foster, just relax, we're in the newly found hideout for the Black Swan."
"I-why are we here? What happened." Then, as i say it my memories of the events earlier flood in. "Wait—Sandor, is he—?"
"We don't know yet, we pretty much got to Havenfield and I told Grady what's happening after getting you inside, what happened and he hailed the Black Swan and then they took us here. Now, Foster are you okay. I could go get the collective or Physics or—" I realise he's worrying, in a sweet, cute, nice way that makes me warm on the inside and my heart flutter.
"Keefe, I'm fine. It's all good." I say this then he looks at me and i realise i forgot to force myself to stop shivering.
"Do you want me to get you a blanket, I'm sure I can find something." He says getting up from his sitting position right next to me. We were both on this small blow-up mattress  that humans used a lot for sleepovers, most of Amy's friends used to use them when coming over, I remember Amy begging Mum to buy one so she could go on even more sleepovers too.
"No, wait Keefe, please don't leave. I don't want to be alone." I say, yes it does sound pathetic and sad, I don't care though. I keep thinking people will just leave and never come back. Keefe looks at me after saying this, his determined expression from before turning into a loving, understanding face.
"Of course Foster. I'll always be here for you. Forever. Forever and more."
Boom I said it. I know, kinda cringy but still.
Then Keefe came back to me, really close and lied down and put his arm around me. My heart fluttered so much, it was like it couldn't decide if it wanted to skip bracts or go really fast.  I snuggled into him, taking in his scent or pine and citrus (oranges, lemons, mandarins ect.) and close my eyes, letting myself drift to sleep.

Mr. Forkle POV:
Poor kids, going through what they have again. I hope Sophie's okay, she was unconscious last time I saw her, my previous Moonlark being cradled by Keefe and Grady. I turn the corner of the hide out. It wasn't new, like I told everyone.  The hideout was quite old, but was never really used. It was for quick evacuation, it's underground and has the best hidden entrance. I walk down another hallway taking a right turn. I was going to find the collective, but i had to check on Sophie and Keefe. I had just finally got Grady to relax and take a sedative. I come to the door of the room that Sophie and Keefe were in. I don't knock, just in case it would wake up Sophie, even if she fainted, it's still good for her to rest as much as possible. I turn the handle, slipping inside and I see my Moonlark cuddling up to Keefe asleep. Keefe was just watching Sophie, completely in a daze.
"Mr. Sencen?" I say sorry getting his attention. He looks at me without moving.
"Yes?" He says, he also slightly turns over, being gentle so he doesn't disturb Sophie.
"Miss Fosters al good I see. Take care of her and tell her when she wakes that the collective is here and so is all your friends and all parents." I say and Keefe nods and says,
"I'll keep good on my promise. Don't worry." It's the promise he made to my brother, my twin, my other half. A small smile appears on my face and I say,
"Mr. Sencen, please do get some rest too, she's well protected here, nothings going to happen." He blushes at this. They really are the perfect match, he always has and always will be the best for Sophie, no matter how bad times get.
"Thanks." He says and I slip back out the door. Back into the reality.

Okay. That was definitely not accurate for Mr. Forkle but it wasn't 100% horrible. I how you all like it and this was one of the many special chapters to come.
