Ch. 38

Blaise stood patiently at the bottom of the right-side staircase of their foyer, waiting for Ginny to appear. They had decided to have the wedding in the large foyer of their manor, which allowed for chairs to be set up in the main area for everyone to see. Kingsley Shacklebolt had agreed to be the officiant for their wedding, and was smiling around at everyone.

Draco was surprised that they were able to fit everyone in the foyer. Not only were all of the Weasleys there with their spouses and significant others, but there were also his parents, Hermione's parents, Ginny's entire quidditch team, Harry and his new girlfriend, Neville Longbottom and his fiancée Hannah Abbot, Luna Lovegood and her fiancé (Draco had no idea who he was but thought he heard the name Rolf), Dean and Seamus, the Patil twins, and a few other people that Draco didn't recognize. Even Professor McGonagall and Hagrid were there as well.

There was a string quartet that had been charmed to play soft background music off in one of the corners, and as the current song ended and another, softer song began, everyone turned their heads to look up at the top of the left set of stairs.

Hermione appeared first, stopping at the top of the steps for a moment before slowly and carefully making her way down. Draco couldn't stop staring at her beautiful gown, and how amazing she looked with the deep blue against her skin. She smiled at him and he could see the blush in her cheeks as she stopped at the bottom of the staircase and went just to the side, looking back up as Ginny and her father appeared.

Blaise's jaw practically dropped when Ginny finally came into full view and he could see every detail of her dress. She was beaming as Arthur led her down the stairs slowly, her eyes locked on Blaise. Even though he knew they were already married, he couldn't help but feel that same excitement as he did on the beach, watching her walk towards him in the sunlight.

They finally reached the bottom of the stairs and she gave her father a kiss on the cheek before he shook Blaise's hand and smiled at him, leaving Ginny's hand in Blaise's and walking away to sit next to Molly.

"Nice of you to include us this time around," Kingsley said with a grin, causing everyone else in the room to laugh. When the laughter finally finished ringing throughout the foyer, he smiled warmly and said, "It truly is an honor to be here with all of you to celebrate this occasion. It is nice to have a ray of sunshine after so much darkness."

He continued on and Hermione cast a quick glance over to Draco, who winked at her and grinned. She smiled and shifted her weight, looking down at the ground for a moment before returning her attention back to Kingsley.

"...Now, I know you two have exchanged vows before," Kingsley said, smiling at Ginny and Blaise, "So, think of this as a very early vow renewal."

Everyone laughed again while Ginny turned to Blaise, handing her bouquet back to Hermione and saying, "I'm kind of glad we didn't have that the first time around. Was tired of holding it."

Hermione laughed. "You're welcome for helping you make that decision!"

There was more laughter and soon Blaise and Ginny were holding hands while facing each other. Hermione caught Draco's eyes again and he smiled. She could feel a sudden wave of love and affection wash over her, and she smiled widely.

You look absolutely stunning in that dress.

She stared at him, trying to keep her jaw from dropping. He simply grinned and shook his head slightly. Don't freak out, you'll take the attention away from them.

When did you start doing this? Hermione asked, regaining her composure.

Not too long ago, actually. She watched him shrug slightly as he thought this. I thought it might come in handy in moments like this.

She smiled at him and then turned her attention back to Ginny and Blaise, who had finished their vows. Blaise slid Ginny's wedding band on her finger again, and Ginny replaced his right after, smiling at him.

"I'm sure you two have been waiting to do this again," Kingsley said with a smile. "I pronounce that they are husband and wife, again! You know what to do, Mr. Zabini."

Blaise pulled Ginny to him and there was a roaring cheer from everyone as they kissed very briefly and beamed with happiness. Kingsley announced loudly over the noise, "Let's move this party into the ballroom!"

By the time Hermione and Draco got to the lavishly decorated ballroom, Ginny had already taken off the top skirt of her dress, revealing the slimmer dress underneath. She was constantly beaming, going around and talking to all of the guests.

Draco wrapped an arm around Hermione's waist and pulled her in to kiss her temple as Blaise made his way over to them, drink in hand.

"Now it's officially your turn!" He announced, gesturing towards them with his glass.

Hermione laughed. "Good to know!"

"Are you really drinking when your pregnant wife is out socializing?" Draco asked, raising an eyebrow disapprovingly.

Blaise held up the glass and said, "It's pumpkin juice, don't even."

Draco held up a hand in defeat as Ginny walked over to them with the largest smile on her face. "I'm so happy we did this with everyone."

Hermione looked down at Ginny and grinned. "You've already got a slight bump, Gin!"

"I know!" The red head rubbed her lower belly happily and laughed. "I didn't really notice it until today when I was putting the dress on."

"It's such a cute little bump," Blaise said, gazing lovingly at his wife.

"It's not going to stay little for long though," She sighed before resting her head on Blaise's shoulder. "I'm just happy we've got it all done with. Now it's time for you two to start planning!"

She pointed at Draco and Hermione, causing the four of them to laugh. Their attention was caught by Harry approaching them nervously.

"Hey guys," He greeted with a nod. "Um, I wanted to introduce Finley to you."

"Finley?" Draco asked, looking behind Harry to see a young woman standing a bit of a way's away.

Harry nodded and smiled. "My girlfriend."

"Yeah!" Hermione said excitedly. "Bring her over!"

Harry turned and went back to take the girl's hand, bringing her over. She smiled at all of them, nervously fixing her long dark hair and pulling it off to the side.

"Hi!" She greeted, looking around at the group. "I've heard so much about all of you!"

Hermione smiled and held out her hand. "Harry's told me a little bit about you already; it's nice to finally meet you, Finley!"

Finley turned to look at Ginny and Blaise. "Congratulations! It was such a beautiful wedding, and your dress was stunning!"

"Thank you!" Ginny smiled. "How long have you and Harry been together?"

"Technically today, but we've been talking for a little while," Finley answered, smiling at Harry and wrapping her arm around his. "He's pretty wonderful."

"So, how did you two meet?" Draco asked, gesturing between the two of them.

"I was getting off from one of my missions and had gone to get a drink," Harry explained.

"It's a bit cliché, but I was his bartender," Finley laughed. "I was just so taken with him, and how down to earth he was given...well, you know."

Hermione nodded. She watched them smile at each other and she smiled as well. This girl seemed really sweet, and she could tell Harry really liked her.

"Ginny!"

They all turned to see Molly waving her daughter towards her. "Come here! We want a picture with the two of you!"

"Coming, mum!" Ginny excused her and Blaise, pulling him away towards her parents.

"She seems really sweet," Finley commented as she watched Ginny and Blaise walk away.

"She is," Draco nodded. "So, did you go to Hogwarts?"

She shook her head. "My parents insisted I go to Durmstrang."

"Ah," Draco nodded. "My parents did the same thing at first but my mother wanted me closer to home."

"That's understandable," Finley shrugged. "I would've much rather go to Hogwarts, though. Durmstrang was a little...dark for me."

"So what are you doing now?" Hermione asked curiously.

"I'm just bartending right now, I'm hoping that I can take over that bar though," Finley smiled. "I've been there for a few years now and the owner has been training me to take over when they retire, since I know nearly everything about that bar."

"That's good!" Hermione smiled.

Harry squeezed Finley's hand and said, "Alright, I'm going to go take her to meet some of the other Weasleys; we'll catch you guys later!"

They walked away and Hermione looked up at Draco. "She seems nice."

"Yes,  they  seem  really  good  for  each  other,"  Draco  nodded  before  giving  her  a  kiss  on  the  temple.  "Come  on,  let's  get  some  cake."

A/N: Sorry this is such a short chapter, but they are technically married already and I didn't want to repeat that whole process haha but finally the dress reveal! Hope you all enjoy! <3
