While Anne was standing by the bridge and was having memories of her past with Bucky, Her thoughts were broken when she saw Sam walking towards her as He knew what she was thinking about as Wilson looked at her and said something.

Sam: He's gonna be there, you know?

Anne: I know. . .

Sam: Look, whoever he used to be, the guy he is now, I don't think he's the one you should save. He needs to be stopped

Anne: Sam, I don't know if I can do that, It's not easy.

Sam: Well, he might not give you a choice. He doesn't know you.

Anne: He will. . . .Gear up, it's time.

Sam looked at her as Winters walked away as Their mission was about to begin as Both of them left to gear up.

Meanwhile at the Triskelion, The final launch sequence of Project Insight was being held as Pierce was seen meeting the World Security Council's as He shooked one of their hands and was talking to them.

Pierce: How was your flight?

Councilwoman Hawley: It was good.

Pierce: Sadly SHIELD can't control everything.

Councilman Rockwell: Including Captain Winters

Pierce looked at him and walked towadsa to one of the guards as the guard gave him a case containing four pins.

Pierce: This facility is biometrically controlled, and these will give you unrestricted access

Meanwhile Inside the Project Insight headquarters. The technologists were working on the launch until they heard a knock on the door as One of them went to open it before he saw Captain Winters along with Sam and Maria, Hill and Wilson aimed their guns on the technologist as He surrendered.

Pierce was seen talking to the councillors as He continued talking to them until they heard a speech through the microphone.

Anne: Attention, all SHIELD agents. This is Anne Winters. You've heard a lot about me over the last few days, some of you were even ordered to hunt me down. But I think it's time you know the truth. SHIELD is not what we thought it was, it's been taken over by HYDRA. Alexander Pierce is their leader. The STRIKE and Insight crew are HYDRA as well.

I don't know how many more, but I know they're in the building. They could be standing right next to you. They almost have what they want: absolute control. They shot Nick Fury and it won't end there. If you launch those Helicarriers today, HYDRA will be able to kill anyone that stands in their way, unless we stop them.

I know I'm asking a lot, but the price of freedom is high, it always has been, and it's a price I'm willing to pay. And if I'm the only one, then so be it. But I'm willing to bet I'm not.

Pierce and the councillors looked angry that Anne was going to stop Project Insight, But Pierce was going to make sure that Anne wouldn't stop the project.

Meanwhile Rumlow and his team found out about the speech and began walking to the control room as Rumlow spoke to one of the tech to launch the ships but the tech looked scared and was silent.

Rumlow: Is there a problem?

SHIELD Tech: I'm sorry, sir. . . . . I'm not gonna launch those ships. Captain's orders.

Rumlow looked upset and points his gun at the tech's head as He was scared until Agent 13 walked over to Rumlow pointing her gun at him.

Sharon : Like he said! *All the SHIELD agents aim their weapons at Rumlow* Captain's orders.

Rumlow: You picked the wrong side, Agent.

Sharon: Depends on where you're standing

Until they all started fighting eachother while shooting as well until Rumlow managed to release the helicarriers and ran off as they tried to shoot him but it was too late.

Meanwhile Captain Winters and Falcon were seen walking towards the Helicarriers as They needed to stop the launch as Falcon began fly and saw HYDRA agents trying to shoot him as He was dodging their bullets while Anne was fighting some of the agents.

Pierce was seen talking to Singh as They continued to talk to eachother until Councilwoman Hawley kicked Singh as Everyone was shocked and confused, The HYDRA tried to stop Hawley but She took them down and threw the last Agent on the ground before aiming her pistol at Pierce as Hawley began to remove something on her face until

It was revealed to be Natasha who was disguised as Hawley, Romanoff looked at him and said something.

Natasha: I'm sorry, Did I step on your moment?

Pierce was staring at Black Widow until He turned around and saw Alex who was disguised as a HYDRA Agent aiming his pistol at him as Natasha had a smirk on her face.

Falcon was at the helicarriers bay and was taking down the HYDRA jets while Anne hit multiple kicks and punches at a Agent before throwing him as She was trying to get inside the helicarrier.

Maria: Eight minutes, Cap.

Anne: Working on it

Meanwhile Alex and Natasha were planning on exposing all of SHIELD/HYDRA'S secrets along with Pierce being their leader as Pierce was glaring at both of them as Natasha and Alex were looking at the monitor together.

Pierce: Disabling the encryption is an executive order, it takes two Alpha Level members.

Alex: Don't worry, company's coming.

Until a helicopter appears outside and lands as it was revealed to be Fury, He entered the building and stared at Pierce who was shocked.

Pierce: Did you get my flowers?. . . I'm glad you're here, Nick.

Fury: Really? Cause I thought you had me killed.

Pierce: You know how the game works.

Fury: So why make me head of SHIELD?

Pierce: Cause you were the best and the most ruthless person I ever met.

Fury: I did what I did to protect people.

Pierce: Our enemies are your enemies, Nick. Disorder, war. It's just a matter of time.

Fury was silent and took Pierce to the retinal scanner with Natasha and Alex pointing their guns at him.

SHIELD Computer: Retinal scanner active.

Pierce: You don't you think we wiped your clearance from the system?

Fury: I know you erased my password, probably deleted my retinal scan, but if you want to stay ahead of me, Mr. Secretary. . . * Removes his eyepatch to reveal his scarred eye* You need to keep both eyes open.

They both look into the retinal scanner with Fury using his dead eye.

Meanwhile Anne and Sam managed to destroy two helicarriers as there was only one more to go. Anne was being shot by the HYDRA agents as she contacted Falcon.

Anne: Hey, Sam, I'm gonna need a ride.

Sam: Roger! Let me know when you're ready.

Anne continued to run before she jumped off the edge as a HYDRA agent shoots a missile at her but Anne managed to dodge it as She was free falling before Sam arrived and grabbed her as They flew back to the last helicarrier.

Anne: Glad you made it in time.

Sam: I'm just following your lead.

Anne smiled at him until. . .

Suddenly Bucky who was hiding pushed Anne off the helicarriers as Sam was shocked and was about to jump to save Anne but Bucky grabbed Sam's wing and threw him to the other side.

Falcon was in the air as He pulled out his pistols and began to shoot Bucky as Barnes was dodging the bullets.

He continued to dodge until Someone grabbed Bucky's arm and threw him as Bucky managed to get up as Sam saw who it was.

It was Daikon, Romanoff was also helping Sam with destroying the helicarriers, He looked really angry when he saw Bucky as Daikon ran towards Bucky as Both of them started fighting.

Bucky pushed Daikon and was gonna shoot him but Daikon knocked the gun off his hand as Both of them continued dodging and countered their attacks as Sam was trying to fly away until Bucky kicked Daikon as He went flying to the other side and was on the ground.

Bucky pulled out a gadget and pulled Sam towards him.

Sam was on the ground as Daikon tried to punch him but Bucky dodged him and began charging towards Sam before kicking him off the helicarrier and grabbed Daikon by the throat and threw him out.

Sam's wings were destroyed as He continued falling before he saw Daikon and grabbed him before He opened the parachute as Sam was trying to contact Anne.

Sam: Captain, Are you there??

Meanwhile Anne was seen climbing on the side of the helicarrier as She spoke to Sam.

Anne: Yeah! I'm here I'm still on the helicarrier!

Sam: I'm grounded, the suit's down. Sorry, Cap.

Anne: Don't worry, I got it

Anne rushed to get inside the helicarrier but unknown to her, Bucky was watching her before walkiny away, Maria contacted Sam that Rumlow was heading to the council.

Meanwhile Anne was inside the helicarrier as She was looking around until she saw Bucky in front of her.

Anne looked at him as Bucky was coldly staring at her as Winters looked sad as She said something.

Anne: People are gonna die, Bucky. I can't let that happen.

No response was given as Anne looked at him as He was just staring at her.

Anne: Please, don't make me do this.

He was silent as Anne was worried because she didn't want to hurt or attack him, She continued looking at Bucky before she knew he wasn't gonna let go as Anne threw her shield at him but he blocked it with his metal arm.

He grabbed the shield and threw it back to Anne as He began shooting at her but Anne blocked his bullets as they were fighting.

Bucky managed to shoot Anne's gut as She grunted in pain as Bucky tried to punch her but Anne pushed him with her shield.

She looked at the blood in her hand as Bucky was glaring at her before the two engaged in a fight.

They managed to dodge and block eachother's moves as Winters pushed him again as Anne wrote the passcode until Bucky tried to attack her again with his combat knife but Anne managed to grab his arm and pulled it back as his metal arm began to make noise before she pushed and kicked him away.

Anne immediately grabbed the chip before Bucky tried to hit punch her but Anne blocked it with her Shield and used her strength and pushed him.

Anne smacked him as Bucky kicked her and tried to punch her but Anne pushed him again as He tried to stab her with the combat knife before he punched her.

Anne was holding her jaw until Bucky ran and charged towards her as they both fell off the railing.

The chip slipped from Anne as Anne was trying to grab it but Bucky was trying to attack her as He punched her on the face but Anne hit multiple kicks at him but Bucky grabbed her arm as Winters managed to reist his metal arm and and threw him down.

Anne looked at him as Bucky managed to get up as He tried to attack her as He hit an uppercut and Winters fell off but managed to grab the chip.

Anne was sliding as Bucky was following her before he grabbed Anne and threw her as the chip fell off from her again, She somehow got up and saw the chip and began running towards it until. . .

Anne fell down and was holding her back as Bucky ran and grabbed a pistol, Anne immediately grabbed the shield as Barnes was shooting at her but she was blocking the bullets before she tried to throw it but Bucky blocked it and ran towards her.

He ran and tried to stab Anne but she grabbed his arm until he forcefully stabbed her in the shoulder as Anne was in pain before Anne began to headbutt him as Bucky fell down.

He saw the chip and tried to grab it but Anne stopped him before she grabbed him by the throat and threw him down.

She was holding his arm and was twisting it as Bucky was clutching the chip in pain as Anne said something.

Anne: Bucky drop it!!

He wasn't letting go as Winters decided to choke him as he was struggling to move and get out as Anne choked him tightly until he passed out as the chips fell to the glass as Anne was checking on him.

She was staring at him before she grabbed the chip but felt extremely tired.

Anne was trying to climb back to the helicarriers as The launch was going to happen in a minute.

Anne desperately tries to get back up to the Helicarriers to get to the targeting system until Bucky woke up and grabbed his gun and shoots at Anne in the leg and shoulder as Anne was in pain but she tried to climb up still.

Maria: Thirty seconds Cap!

Anne was struggling to move as the weapons of the helicarrier was starting to aim towards Washington as there wasn't much time left. .

Three. .

Two. . .

One. . .

Just then Anne managed to use the chip and close the Helicarrier's targeting blade, overriding the system and locking it down.

Anne: Its offline. .

Maria: Anne, Get out of there fast!

The Helicarriers weapon targets to open fire upon each other but Anne said something which shocked Maria.

Anne: Fire now.

Maria: But, Anne. . . .

Anne: Do it! Do it now!

Hill makes the Helicarriers open fire on each other while Anne was still inside the Helicarrier as She looked at Bucky.

The helicarriers were being destroyed Bucky was trapped in the rubble as Anne ran to save him, Meanwhile in the Triskelion, Fury shot Pierce who was laying on the ground as He said one last thing before he died.

Pierce: Hail HYDRA. . .

Pierce was dead as One of the helicarrier pieces fell on the Triskelion as Alex yelled.

Alex: We have no time! We gotta go!

Natasha: Where is Daikon and Anne!?

Alex: I don't know, I think they are still at the helicarrier, I'll contact Maria-

The building continued to get destroyed as Alex grabbed Natasha's hand as Fury ran to follow him as Alex was talking to Sam through the radio.

Meanwhile Bucky manages to get out of the rubble as everything was being destroyed until Anne saw Daikon as she was shocked.

Anne: Daikon?

Daikon: Anne, We need to leave-

He saw Bucky as Daikon stared at Anne as He looked like he was going to fight him as Anne was worried.

Anne: Daikon, Wait-

He ran towards Bucky and tried to charge towards him and push him off but Bucky punched him in the face as Anne was shocked before Daikon kicked Bucky in the face.

Anne: Daikon! Don't do this!

Daikon looked at Anne as Bucky was trying to get up as Daikon said something.

Daikon: We don't need to save him, Anne.

Anne: No! Please I want to save him-

Daikon was gonna say something until Bucky kicked him as Daikon fell off the helicarrier as Anne was shocked but she saw that Daikon was holding on to the side as she looked at Bucky who looked upset as Winters was stepping back.

Anne: Bucky, You know me, love.

Bucky lashes out at Anne in anger as He tried to punch her.

Bucky: NO, I DON'T!

Anne: ayou've known me your whole life.

Bucky hits Anne but Winters chooses not to fight back as she was holding her face.

Anne: Your name. . . .is James Buchanan Barnes.

Bucky was angry and punched her again.

Bucky: SHUT UP!!

Anne: I'm not gonna fight you. . . . Your the love of my life, The only one I had when I had nothing.

Bucky pushes Anne to the ground as He was angry and said something.

Bucky: You're my mission.

He mercilessly punches Anne repeatedly on the face while yelling at her.

Bucky: *Continues punching* YOUR MY MISSION!!!

Anne: Then finish it. . .

Bucky just looked at her in confusion and was hesitating to punch her as Anne grabbed his metal hand and held it tightly as She was looking at him while her face had bruises and was bleeding.

Anne: Because. . . . I'll be there for you till the end. . .

Bucky was shocked and finally started to remember as Anne held his hand tightly, He was looking at her hand until. . .

The middle part of the helicarrier fell on Anne as She fell to the river as Bucky watched in shock and tried to look for her.

Many parts and pieces of the helicarrier fell to the river as Anne was in the water and was unconscious.

Later on, Bucky managed to find Anne in the river and carried her on his shoulder as Both of them were wet before he gently put Anne on the ground as Anne was coughing while Bucky was just staring at her and fixed his wet hair.

Until Daikon who was in the water managed to swim back and was tired as He saw Anne on the ground as Daikon saw Bucky who was just looking at her as Romanoff glared at him before Bucky looked at her one last time and walked away.

Daikon continued staring at him before he went to check on Anne as Anne was struggling to breathe as Daikon was looking at her before he looked at Bucky again he was far away.
