It was late night as Anne returned back to her apartment building as She fixed her dress and was walking upstairs, Soon, She was walking to her apartment as Anne heard someone talking on the phone as Winters saw her neighbour, talking on the phone while doing the laundry.

It was Nurse Kate, She continued talking on the phone before hanging up as She saw Anne and smiled at her.

Kate: Hey there, Anne. I was just talking on the phone, My aunt, she's kind of an insomniac.

Anne: Hey, I understand that, If you want, you're welcome to use my machine. Might be cheaper than the one in the basement.

Kate: Oh, yeah? I'll try using it.

Anne: No problem at all, You can use it anytime.

Kate: Thanks Anne, Your really sweet.

Anne: *Smiles* Haha don't mention it.

Kate: Yeah, So have you been looking for a relationship?

Anne: No, Not really actually. I'm focusing on my work.

Kate: Come on, Anne. You need to find someone also. How about you ask the STRIKE's team field commander?

Anne: You mean Rumlow?

Kate: Yeah, He seems like a great guy for you, don't you think? You should try asking him out.

Anne: *Laughs* No Kate, Me and Rumlow work together and are friends.

Kate: Well You could try, You need to find someone.

Anne: We will see about that, I'll head inside now.

Kate: *Smiles* Alright, Take care Anne.

Anne: You too and Tell your aunt to take care.

They both smiled at eachother and walked away as Anne chuckled to herself.

Anne: She really sounds like Natasha now.

Anne walked away as She fixed her hair. Even after all these years, Anne never wanted to move on and find another relationship, She stills loves Bucky deep down in her heart and would never replace him. That was why Anne never wanted to find someone.

Winters was at her apartment as She was looking around until she heard music playing which confused her. A doubt came in her head as Anne grabbed her shield and cautiously looked around.

She continued walking until she saw Nick sitting in the couch as the music continued on the stereo as Anne was confused as Fury noticed her.

Anne: I don't remember giving you a key.

Fury: You really think I'd need one? My wife kicked me out.

Anne: Oh, I didn't know you were married.

Fury: A lot of things you don't about me.

Anne: I know, Nick. That's the problem.

Anne turned on the light and saw Fury's injuries which shocked her as Fury looked at her and gave her a sign to be silent.

Fury turned off the light and wrote something on his phone as Anne was looking at him until he showed her the phone.

"Ears everywhere"

Anne looked at the message as Fury spoke to her.

Fury: Anne, I'm sorry, I have to do this, but I had no place else to crash. *Shows another message*

Anne was staring at the message as She said something.

Anne: Who else knows about your wife?

"You and me"

Fury: Just. . .my friends.

Anne: Is that what we are?

Fury: That's up to you.

They were looking at eachother until Fury got shot three times through the wall and fell dow as Anne was shocked and looked at the window to find the assailant.

Anne couldn't see anyone as Anne grabbed her shield and dragged Fury to the other room as Anne was checking on him before Fury was breathing heavily and gave a flash drive to Anne.

Fury: Don't. . .trust anyone.

Anne was looking at the drive and looked at Fury before he passed out as Anne was shocked until she heard something as Anne heard Kate's voice.

Kate: Captain Winters???

Anne was confused as Kate entered the room while holding her pistol as Anne looked at her.

Kate: Captain, I'm Agent 13 of SHIELD Special Service, I'm assigned to protect you.

Anne: On whose order?

Kate was checking on Fury who was unconscious as She spoke to anne.

Kate: His order. *Contacts on the radio* Foxtrot is down, he's unresponsive. I need EMTs.

SHIELD Agent: Do you have a twenty on the shooter?

Anne looked at the window and saw someone running as She looked at Kate.

Anne: Tell him I'm in pursuit.

Anne jumped through the window as She looked around while fixing her dress before she began running fast as Anne was smashing through the walls as Winters looked outside and saw the assailant running away.

Anne continued running as She used her shield and charged through a glass door and continued running as She made it to the office.

Anne broke every wall as She saw the assailant running as Winters broke the window as She was outside the building and saw the assailant who had a metal arm.

Winters ran and threw her shield at him but the assailant grabbed it.

Anne stared at him as The assailant was staring and glaring at her.

Anne looked at him until he threw the shield back at her as Anne managed to grab it but was pushed back as The assailant jumped and escaped.

Anne was looking around as She didn't see him anymore as Anne was thinking about the assailant. Who was he? But Anne had alot of thoughts running through her head about the assailant, Especially when she looked into his eyes.

He looked familiar

Later on, Fury was seen in the hospital as Doctors and Nurses were checking on him, Outside the emergency room, Anne was standing as She was worried and was looking at Fury as Natasha was looking at the window and was scared and worried about Fury.

Natasha: Is he gonna make it?. . .

Anne: I don't know. . . . . .

Daikon: Tell us about the shooter.

Anne: He's fast and strong. Had a metal arm.

Alex: Have you seen the shooter's face?

Anne: No, He had a mask. . .

They saw Maria Hill walking towards them as The doctors and nurse's noticed that Fury's heartbeat was flatlining as Everyone was shocked as The doctors began using the defibrillator as Everyone was watching as Natasha was feeling scared as Daikon was comforting his mother while Alex, Anne and Maria were looking.

They kept using the defibrillators but it was still flatlining as They were getting worried as Natasha was crying until it was still flatlined, Anne and Alex turned away knowing that Fury was dead while Daikon looked at the ground as Natasha was shocked and continued crying as Daikon hugged Nat.

After that, Fury was laid there as Everyone was silent while Natasha had tears rolling down her cheek as Anne tried to talk to her.

Anne: Natasha. . .

She didn't reply as Daikon and Alex looked at both of them as Natasha walked away as Anne followed her.

Anne: Natasha! Wait!

Natasha: Why was Fury in your apartment???

Anne: I don't know-

Until They saw Rumlow walking towards them as He looked at Annw.

Rumlow: Captain, they want you back at SHIELD.

Anne: Yeah. . Give me a second.

Rumlow was standing there as Anne looked at Natasha as Nat was staring at her.

Natasha: You are a terrible liar. . .

Anne looked at her as Natasha walked away as Alex looked at Natasha as Daikon and Alex looked at Anne as Winters was looking at them. Daikon walked away to check on his mother while Alex was standing there.

Rumlow was looking at them as Jasper Sitwell said something to Rumlow through the ear piece.

Sitwell: STRIKE team, escort Captain Winters back to SHIELD immediately for questioning.

Rumlow: I told her

Anne: Come on, Lets go now.

Rumlow walked away as Anne looked at the vending machine as She looked at the drive that Fury gave her, She remembered Fury's words to not trust anyone as Anne decided to hide the drive on the vending machine as She walked away.
