Augest 16 1943

It was the next day as Today was the day where Anne was going to participate in the Project Rebirth program. Winters was quite nervous about it but she was ready to take it with the help of Abraham's motivation.

The time was four p.m as Anne was seen in the car with Peggy Carter as The driver was driving as Anne was looking around and saw some alleyways as Winters said something to Peggy.

Anne: I remember I was beaten up by two people in that alleyway and that parking lot and behind that diner

Peggy: Did you have something against running away?

Anne: Well Agent Carter, If you start running, they'll never let you stop. I know a little of what that's like, to have every door shut in your face.

Peggy: Have you tried fighting back?

Anne: Alot but it didn't work out, It was still going to be me that is knocked on the floor.

Peggy just looked at her as Anne was looking at her.

Peggy: Well now I know that you aren't that kind of person to give up.

Anne smiled at her as She said something to her.

Anne: Someone always told me, "If you don't give up on something you truly believe in, you will find a way." I loved hearing this quote.

Peggy: *Smiles a little* That's very inspirational.

Both Anne and Peggy were smiling at eachother as They continued looking through the window before Peggy told the driver to stop the car. The car stopped as Both women got out of the car as Anne was confused.

Peggy: This way, Anne.

Anne: What are we doing here?

Anne followed Peggy who was walking away as Both of them entered Brooklyn Antique Shop as Anne was looking around.

Soon, An elderly women came walking as She had a smile on her face and spoke to Agent Carter.

Elder women: Wonderful weather this morning, isn't it?

Peggy: Yes but I always carry an umbrella.

Anne looked at Peggy a little confused as the women was staring at Peggy before she went over to the desk and pushed a hidden button.

Winters was following Peggy until they saw a large bookshelf before the shelf opened which led to a secret door. Anne looked at Peggy as Carter opened the door as Anne followed her inside the facility as She saw several Strategic Scientific Reserve members looking at her as Both women continued walking until a door opened as They entered the main room where the experiment was taking place.

Anne was looking around as She saw alot of scientists along with various of Senators and generals. Anne and Peggy went downstairs as She saw Abraham standing there as he looked at Anne and gave a small smile.

Erikson: Good morning, Are you ready?

Anne looked around as She nodded as Erikson was checking the chamber while Anne took off her coat and had her white shirt on as Erikson was talking to Senator Brandt.

Soon it was the beginning of the Super Solider experiment, Anne was strapped into the Vita- Ray chamber as Abraham said something to her.

Erikson: Is it comfortable?

Anne: Kinda, Its a little big.

Erikson: Mr. Stark, how are your levels?

Howard: *Walking towards Erikson* Levels at 100%. We may dim half the lights in Brooklyn, but we are ready as we'll ever be.

Anne was looking at Howard and recognised him as Stark was staring at Anne before he walked away

Peggy was standing afar and was watching what was happening as the scientists were getting the serums as Anne was looking around before Erikson grabbed a microphone and said something.

Erikson: Ladies and gentlemen, today we take not another step towards annihilation, but the first step on the path to peace. We begin with a series of microinjections into the subject's major muscle groups. The serum infusion will cause immediate cellular change.

Scientists were inserting the serum into the chamber as Anne was being prepared as Erikson continued speaking.

Erikson: And then, to stimulate growth, the subject will be saturated with Vita-Rays.

A scientist injected Anne with penicillin as Anne closed her eyes and felt a little pain but it wasn't too bad.

Anne: That wasn't bad.

Erikson: That was penicillin.

Anne looked at him as She was a bit worried and didn't know what they were going to do next. Soon, They were now going to inject all the serums into Anne's body as Winters was quite nervous before she started getting injected.

Anne closed her eyes in pain and felt pressure in her body as the pain continued on until Anne's eyes were widen as Erikson was looking at her before he told Stark to lift the chamber.

Howard nodded and pulled a switch as The chamber was being lifted before it completely closed as Erikson was a bit worried about Anne and knocked on it.

Erikson: Anne, Can you hear me?

Anne: Its probably late to go to the bathroom and fix my makeup real quick.

Erikson was relieved that Anne was okay as Abraham said something.

Erikson: We will proceed now.

Stark looked at Erikson before he wore sunglasses and spinned a button as Everyone was watching it. Howard began pulling a lever.

Howard:That's ten percent. . .Twenty percent. . thirty. . . That's forty percent.

The light shined inside the chamber as Everyone was stepping back and Erikson covered his eyes.

Howard: That's fifty . . . Sixty. . . . Seventy.

Suddenly Anne started screaming in agony and pain as Erikson got worried and Peggy heard Anne's screams and immediately got up as Abraham was yelling Anne's name as Peggy immediately ran near the railing.

Peggy: Shut it down now!!!

Erikson: Kill the reactor, Mr. Stark Turn it off!

Howard was gonna do it until they heard Anne yelling something.

Anne: No!!! Don't! I can do this!

Erikson was looking at the chamber before he looked at Howard as Stark decided to increase it.

He increased the Vita rays until it was a hundred percent as there was sparks coming until the brightness inside the chamber stopped.

It was silence as Everyone was staring before the chamber opened as it revealed Anne who was taller and weighted one twenty four lb, She looked much stronger then she was before.

Everyone was looking as Peggy and Howard immediately ran and both of them helped Anne get out of th3 chamber who was breathing heavily and was tired from all the pain.

All Senators and generals immediately ran to check on Anne while Phillips was seen staring at her as Erikson looked at Anne.

Erikson: You did it. .

Howard: I think we did it.

Anne looked at them as She stood and looked at herself, Winters was actually feeling different and much better then before.

Peggy: How do you feel?

Anne: I feel taller.

They smiled at Anne as Winters was looking around while Erikson was talking to the Senator.

But Unknown to them, There was a strange man looking at the last super solider serum, He has been eyeing on it for a while.

He saw Erikson talking to the Brandt as The man immediately ran and grabbed the serum and pulled out a pistol as Everyone noticed him before he shot Erikson on the chest.

Everyone started screaming as Abraham fell down as The assailant shot a few scientists and ran upstairs as Peggy pulled out her pistol and tried to shoot him.

Anne immediately ran to check on Erikson as He was bleeding and wounded as Anne was shocked and worried until Erikson did something.

He pointed at Anne's heart which reminded her of the conversation they both had before, Anne was looking at him until he slowly stopped breathing and was dead.

While Peggy ran to chase the assailant. The Assailant was also revealed to be a HYDRA assassin that Johann Schmidt sent to kill Erikson and steal the Super Solider Serum because Johann wanted the serum.

Anne looked at Erikson who was dead before Anne got up and was ready to avenge his death as She ran upstairs to find the assassin.

Meanwhile Peggy was seen trying to shoot the man as she shot him on the shoulder, Peggy tried to shoot him again but he dodged the bullets and got in the car with his driver.

Agent Carter was still trying to shoot the car as She managed to shoot the window and shot the driver at the same time.

The driver was dead as The car crashed to a taxi as The assassin got out of the car as Peggy was looking around. He stole the taxi and started driving Peggy decided to shoot him from the other side of the street.

The assassin was driving fast before he saw Peggy aiming her pistol as He pressed on the accelerator and tried to run over Peggy until. . .

Anne saved Peggy as the assassin decided to drive away as Anne looked at Peggy before Anne got up and began running fast.

After she got the Super Soldier Serum, Anne was much stronger and faster. Winters began sprinting as she was moving past the cars as Anne was running to find the assassin.

She saw a alleyway as Anne ran fast and jumped over a fence as Anne continued running and avoided a few cars.

Soon Anne saw the taxi while there was a few cars behind it, Winters ran fast and jumped on a car and began leaping on the other cars.

Anne saw the taxi where Kruger was at as Anne jumped on it as The assassin was trying to drive while Anne was holding on.

Anne was holding on the car as Kruger continued driving as Anne was trying to avoid the cars as Kruger began shooting the roof as Anne got shot but managed to dodge most of the bullets.

Anne was on the right window as Kruger noticed her and tried to shoot her but Anne moved away until the taxi crashed.

Anne managed to get out as The car kept flipping and it was completely broken as Kruger got out and was hurt and tired as He saw Anne and tried to shoot her again.

Anne was moving away as He continued to try and shoot her as Anne grabbed a broken car door and blocked the bullets

The civillians were getting scared and were running before Kruger saw a little boy and grabbed it as a hostage as Anne was shocked as Kruger tried shooting Anne before he ran away while holding the boy.

Winters immediately ran to chase him down and save the boy as well.

Kruger continued holding the boy while running away as He was looking around and couldn't find anywhere. The boy was begging him to let go as Kruger was looking around until he saw Anne and immediately aimed his pistol.

Anne: No! Wait wait, Don't shoot. Please don't hurt the boy

Kruger tried to shoot but he was out of ammunition as Anne was telling him to stop until Kruger threw the boy to the water as Anne was shocked while the assassin ran off.

Anne was gonna save the boy by jumping in the water until the boy yelled something.

Boy: Get him! I can swim!!!

Anne was looking at him before she ran away to find Kruger.

Soon, Kruger got into a submarine and was gonna escape underwater as Anne saw him as He went underwater with the submarine, Anne jumped into the water and was swimming as she was following the submarine.

Kruger was navigating through the water with the submarine until Anne found the submarine and broke the window as all the water got inside it.

The submarine was filled with water as Anne opened it and grabbed Kruger out of the water.

Anne threw him out as Kruger was breathing heavily as Anne was climbing on the ladder, Kruger tried to attack Anne but Winters got angry and kicked him on the face.

But when she kicked him, The serum fell off and broke as Anne punched Kruger again before she grabbed him by his suit.

Anne: Who are you?!?

Kruger: The first of many. Cut off one head, two more shall take its place.

Anne was staring at him and continued glaring at him until he said something to her

Kruger: Hail Hydra. . .

Kruger began convulsing as Anne was looking at him until Anne was shocked and noticed he wasn't moving at all as He was dead.

Anne was looking at him as Anne was thinking about what he said and what did he mean by it.
