Memories

~Rapunzel and Eugene~
"Rap, we haven't even talked about this." Eugene frowned as he stared at his wife. They were seated at the table, looking over bills and such when she brought up the subject of  moving.

"This is what I want." She declared, sliding him the letter. The kids had been asleep hours ago. The adults should have sleeping by now, but now they were getting into a serious topic. This wasn't one they could just walk away from and come back to later.

"This isn't what we need through." He argued, letting out a little scoff. He didn't see why she would want this. This was huge step. If they did it and didn't like it, they couldn't just come back.

"This has been my dream since I was child. I want to be a professional artist!" She complained, growing upset. Why was he arguing with her? He said he would help her achieve her dreams and now he was shutting her down.

"But all the way in New York City? Rapunzel, that's so far away." Eugene sighed. He didn't want to leave this little sleepy town. This was where they both grew up. He wanted his children to experience that too.

"If that's what it takes for me to became a professional and work with my idol then yes." She replied, determination lacing her words. She wanted this so bad. Giving this up would almost feel like stabbing yourself in the heart.

"Rap, you're being selfish." He spat, anger filling in veins. She was only thinking of herself. She had a family now. She can't just do whatever she wants whenever she wants. That doesn't work.

"I'm being selfish? Elaborate on that for me please." She fired back, her face beginning to turn a little pink. She was upset that now he was name calling. He had no right to do that, especially to his wife.

"We just found out that Zachary is color blind. He can't see everything like we can and now you want to throw him into some crappy public school in New York City!" Eugene exclaimed, tossing his hands into the air, throwing the paper against the table. The thought of having a child with a disability never stuck him until now. He never would have guessed Zachary was color blind. Eugene wanted to do everything in his power to make life easier for him.

"I wouldn't just throw him into a crappy public school. We would have money! We could send him to a good private school." Rapunzel defended. Eugene wasn't the only one worried for their children. Rapunzel has been losing sleep thinking about Zachary's condition. He would never been able to experience the world like the rest of them, see her paintings like everyone else.

"Is that what this is all about? Money?" He huffed, anger clear on his face. Money, money, money. That was all they seemed to talk about anymore.

"No. I want this as my dream, but money would be a huge plus. We would be making millions!" Rapunzel cried out, trying to prove her point. She didn't care if she woke up the children. She wanted this more than anything else in the world.

"Money isn't everything." He quickly snapped. He had been through this before. Back when he was young and stupid. He was never happy then. He was egotistical and selfish. He would do anything for a quick buck.

"It obviously is. Without money, we're living in a cramped house. We can hardly pay the bills. We're getting sympathy from people we don't even know! If we had money, we could have a huge house, not worrying about anything!" She explained. She hated stressing about money. If she took this job, that would be one less item on her list of problems.

"Money can't buy you happiness, Rapunzel! Take it from someone who knows. When I was young and didn't know what to do in life, all I wanted was money. I would do whatever it took to get it. I would steal it, even gamble." He rambled, listing off his past. She already knew everything about him. He had slowly but surely spilled his backstory to her over the years. Why did she think money was what they needed?

"Money can buy happiness to a degree! You buy what you need to make you happy. You can buy a better house, a better car! That makes you happier!" She exclaimed, her voice beginning to echo around the room. She stood up, placing both of her hands onto the table.

"I'm happy now! I'm happy with what we have at this exact moment! I have a beautiful wife! I have three gorgeous children! I have everything I could ever need!" Eugene shouted, his voice cracking as he stood up. He looked toward the ground, tears beginning to fill in his eyes. "Where is the girl that taught me that love is the only thing you need?" He softly cried.

Rapunzel stood still, his question echoing in her head. Was she really changing? Was money all she was thinking about? She took slow steps towards him, unsure if he wanted to be comforted. She wrapped her arms around him, resting her head against his shoulder. "I'm right here."

He stood taller and looked down at her. "Then why do you want this job? We're surrounded by some much love here. We have friends and family here. The kids are happy here. Why do you want to leave?"

She blinked, thinking about her response. She had wanted this since forever. This was her chance. "Because this is what I've always wanted," She declared. He scoffed and began to walk away. He always walked away whenever something went wrong. "Why can't you just be happy for me?" She called out, anger bubbling inside her.

He stopped in his tracks. Was that really what she thought? He turned around grabbing her shoulders in his hands. She could tell by his grip that he was being dead serious. He stared deep into her eyes, almost startling her. She had never seen him like this. "I am happy for you. Hell, I'm overjoyed for you. In all honesty, I am so goddamn proud of you. But you need to see that everything you need is right under your little nose." He softly spoke. He poked her nose, then walked back to their room to get ready for bed.

She stood all alone in the dining room. Her anger was switching into confusion. She had always thought that she had to be a artist. That was what she wanted most in life. Was everything needed really right here in this little hometown? She let out a sigh, looking at the letter. Should they move to New York City just for her?

~Elsa and Jack~
"Why haven't you signed the papers yet?" Elsa questioned, staring at her 'husband.' The decided to meet in a public, just in case things got out of hand.

"What papers?" Jack scoffed, watching her pace in front of him as he sat on the bench. They chose the park, which in his option was stupid. He thought they would do better off in a restaurant. That way if things got icy, they could eat food to stop the awkward silence...plus he was hungry.

"The divorce papers," She fired back, crossing her arm in front of her chest. She glared down at him. What did she ever see in him? Just looking at him almost made her gag. "Don't tell me you forgot about them."

"I didn't forget Elsa," Jack snapped, narrowing his blue eyes at her. "Just because I haven't done it yet doesn't mean I forgot. Don't jump to conclusions."

Elsa tighten her lips and scrunched her face. "Well, it's not my fault you have a reputation of forgetting important items." She snapped, begin gin to walk in front of him again.

Just looking at her strut in front of him made him feel like a child being punished, which in all honesty, he was. Elsa wanted a divorce, she wanted to get rid of him and it broke his heart. Just like before, he was getting left behind. "Sorry that I have a flaw Miss Perfect."

"Please Jack, don't start with the name calling." She scoffed, rolling her blue eyes. God, he really was like child. He was so immature and irresponsible. She would probably do better off marrying a 12 year old than him.

"Fine! Then stop bringing me down!" He fired back, standing up from the bench. Elsa glared at him, feeling the eyes of everyone else at her back.

"Jack, calm down." She growled through gritted teeth. She had a reputation to up hold. If it got out that she was out in public fighting with someone, she would probably die of embarrassment.

"I am calm!" He shouted. Quickly, he covered his mouth with his cold hand. He felt his cheeks heat up as he looked at all of the staring eyes. He was attracting a look of attention, this time not for his looks.

Elsa sighed and rubbed her temples. Jack was such a pill. "Jack, can you please just sign the papers?" She asked.

Jack didn't want to sign the papers. He didn't want a divorce. He thought they could make it work. "Elsa, please think about it. I know we can make it work." Jack persisted now that the crowds looked away.

"Jack, there's-"

"Please!" He hugged, cutting her off. "We could do a couple's therapy thing! I'll do anything! Please! Don't rush into this."

Elsa scowled. Couple's therapy? He was being ridiculous. That never bonds couples back together. If anything, it breaks them apart more. "Come on, Els. Don't you want to at least say that you tried?" Jack asked.

Suddenly, Eugene's advice began ringing in her head. Why? Why now? She let out a sigh and shook her head. She was crazy, but she had to at least say she tried. "Fine, Jack. I'll go to couple's therapy, but if it doesn't work, you have to sign the papers." She stated.

"Yes! Thank you, Elsa!" He cheered, bring her into a huge bear hug. Immediately, he let her go, lightly brushing her off. "Sorry." He mumbled as his cheeks turned bright pink. Maybe now she would realize they were meant to be.

~Merida and Hiccup~
"No way!" Hiccup exclaimed, completely lost in the show. Now that Merida showed him this, he was hooked. He had to watch it all. He had to know what would happen.

"Yes way." She grinned, nodding her head. Now he would finally know her. Now she could maybe find the right memory to trigger him back to his normal self.

"I can't believe we went to Hawaii!" Hiccup cheered, slightly jumping in his bed. Just looking at him, Merida felt like he was coming back. He was now more comfortable around her and he seemed happier.

"Oh yeah, and it was a mess," she laughed, slightly slapping her leg. He turned and looked at her, slightly glaring. "But it was a good mess." She quickly corrected, hoping she didn't mess up her experiment.

He let out a soft sigh and rolled his evergreen eyes. "Spoiler alert." He smiled, making her laugh. He was coming back. Maybe this really was working! She would get her Hiccup back!

"I'm back." Astrid declaration, entering the room. Merida's face dropped as she looked at the blonde in front of her. Great. Astrid was back. Yippee.

"Astrid, you have to see this." Hiccup grinned, waving her over. Astrid walked past Merida, glaring at her.

"Hey, Curly." She mumbled.

"Hey, twig arms." Merida fired back, scowling at the blonde. Astrid scowled back her, making making Merida wanted to punch her again.

"Astrid, Astrid, look! That's me!" Hiccup cheered, completely missing their little cat fight. He was so happy watching this that he ignored everything around him.

"Are you watching-"

"Married At First Sight? Yes! It's so good!" He smiled, his teeth brightly twinkling like his big eyes. He could hardly contain his energy. This was so exciting to him.

"Let me guess, Red over here thought you should watch it." Astrid stated, looking at Merida. Hiccup nodded his head, bouncing his brown locks.

"She thought it might be help me bring back my memories." He explained. As tied gave a fake smile to him, trying to look like his best friend. She wasn't pleased. She hoped Merida would play that game, but she was.

"What a great idea." Astrid replied, staring at Merida. Merida crossed her arms in front of her chest and lend back in her chair.

"Yes. It is such a great idea. In fact, I don't know why I didn't think of it sooner." She fired back, a smirk present on her face. Merida already knew this was working. Hiccup was saying he remembered scenes that didn't even make the show.

"Yay." Astrid replied, scrunching her button nose at Merida. Ugh, she was so upset with her. At this moment, Astrid wished she would have pressed charges. Maybe then Merida wouldn't be here playing this trash.

"Astrid, sit down. Watch it with us. It's really good." Hiccup stated, not taking his eyes off of the tv. He wanted to soak up every second of it. He hoped this would bring back his memory of Merida.

"I would love to watch this with you, but I'm afraid there are no more chairs." Astrid pointed, looking at Merida. Merida glared at her, knowing what she was doing. If Hiccup fell for it, Merida was going to-

"You can just sit on my bed." He explained, patting his bed. Astrid smirked and sat down. Merida glared upset that he husband took the bait. He may be a genius, but he wasn't very good at using his street smarts.

"Thank you, Hiccup." Astrid grinned, cuddling close to Hiccup, who didn't even seem to acknowledge her presents.

"Merida, where are Eugene and Rapunzel?" He asked, his green eyes still glued to the tv. Merida snapped her head back, realizing that she wasn't even watching the show. She was too busy watching Asturd.

"They're just late. Don't worry, they make the plane." Merida assured, taking back her place as his rock. He could have asked her or Astrid. He took his pick.

"Oh good. It wouldn't have been much fun without them." He happily sighed, brushing his locks out of his eyes. He was glad to know that his friends went along. If they would have missed it, he wouldn't have liked the episode as much.

"Yeah." Merida agreed. Astrid rolled her blue eyes and pointed to the back of her throat, acting like she was going to gag. Merida glared at her and punched her fist to her hand.

"I wish you would have shown me this earlier. This is awesome!" He smiled, acting like a child. Merida nodded her head, silently agreeing with him. Maybe if she would have shown him this earlier he wouldn't have formed such a tight bond with Astrid.

Suddenly, an idea popped into Merida's head. "Hiccup, would you like to have a marathon tonight?" She asked. Astrid jaw dropped as she realized Hiccup was slowly slipping through her fingers.

"What about your -I mean- our kids? Don't they need you?" He asked, looking at the redhead. Merida swatted the thought away, giving him a wide smile.

"They can just spend the night at Tiana and Naveen's. I'll sit call them and everything will be okay." She answered, making Hiccup grin.

"That sounds awesome! Thanks, MerBear!" He cheered. Merida's heart slightly stopped. He used her old pet name. He used her old pet name! Astrid noticed it too, her face becoming slightly pale.

"Hiccup, I'm gonna head home. I need to finish some paperwork." She mumbled, getting off of the bed.

"Okay. Bye, Astrid!" He waved, his eyes glued to the tv again. She wobbled to the door. God, she really was losing Hiccup. She had to do some thing to stop this, but what? Astrid had to find a plan to slow this down before it was too late.

~Anna and Kristoff~
Anna stared up at the ceiling in the dark. It was almost midnight, but she couldn't get any sleep. They had put Kristen to bed hours ago, but something else was bugging her tonight. She twisted on her sides, trying to find a way to get comfortable, but it was nearly impossible. She listened to his steady breathing beside her. "Kristoff."

He hummed, rolling over to face her. He took a deep breath while he rubbed his eyes. Usually Anna fell asleep the second she hopped into bed because she's pregnant. Hey, it's pretty tiring. "Are you still awake?" She asked, now regretting for waking him up from a long day.

"I am now," He softly chuckled, cuddling close to her, but this time, she didn't respond back. Usually she leaned back into him, letting him wrap his arms around her, but she just stared at the ceiling this time. "What's on your mind?" He sleepily mumbled.

She was laying in her back, still staring into darkness. She didn't know exactly what was on her mind, but something was stopping her from sleeping. She was silent for a long time, thinking about how to answer his question. He propped his elbow up, trying to look at her. "Do you ever get scared?" She suddenly asked.

He furrowed his eyebrows, deciding how to answer her question. Did he want to be honest with her and possibly frighten her? Or did he want to lie and provide comfort? "I'm a man. I don't get scared and when I do I don't act like it." He replied.

She twisted her head to the right, looking at her husband. "I don't mean like scared of spiders or heights," she stared, feeling him tense up. She knew he was afraid of heights and drowning. "I mean like of the future, what's going to become of us. Does that even scare you?"

Kristoff pulled her in close again, this time she followed through. He wrapped his arms around her then snuggled his head onto her shoulder. She felt safer in his arms. She close her eyes and smelt his sweet scent. "I suppose. Are you scared of the future?"

Was she scared of the future? No. Was she terrified? Yes. Suddenly, tears began to form in her eyes. "I'm terrified, Kris. God, I'm so afraid." She confessed. He pulled her in closer, trying to provide as much protection as possible. They fit together like a puzzle piece, each one fitting inside the other.

"Of what?"

She let out a little sigh, deciding how to blurt it all out to him. She didn't want to sound like a baby or a worry wart, but she didn't want to keep these things from him. "Every thing. I'm scared about Elsa and Jack. I'm scared about Rapunzel and Eugene. I'm scared about Hiccup and Merida. I'm scared about us!" She exclaimed. She didn't know what to feel. She didn't know what to say.

"Anna, you don't need to worry about them. They're adults. They know the right choices for themselves." He comforted, rubbing his hands against her bare arms. She looked up at him, only able to his caring face in the dark.

"Kris, what if it happens to us? What if we run out of money? What if one of us gets into a crash and we can't remember the other? What if we get a divorce and aren't able to love again?" She sobbed. Her body began to shake as she tried to hold in her emotions. "I don't want to be alone again! I don't ever want to lose you!" She croaked.

"Anna, I'll never leave you. You'll never have to worry about that. I love with all of my heart. I'm nothing without you. You complete me. We're Anna and Kristoff, a team! You don't have to be scared about that, ever!" He answered, pushing her tangled locks behind her ears. She leaned her head into his hand, a soft smile tracing on her lips.

She felt better, knowing that they would always be Anna and Kristoff. He placed his soft lips onto her's, leaving them there until she pulled away. He was always so kind, so selfless. He even let her decide when to pull away. What did she ever do to deserve him? "Kristoff, what are you afraid of?"

He tilted his head, looking upward. What was he afraid of? Anna admired him as he thought about his response. His shaggy blonde hair was a mess, strands sticking out in random spots. His large nose that he hated looked perfect on his face according to her. His strong, large arms that were snaked around her somehow held her gently, like she was fragile piece of glass. "I'm afraid of the baby." He answered, licking his lips.

"How?"

"I mean, we're bringing another human into this messy place we call life. We don't know they be like. They could be selfish or selfless. They could be kind or nasty. We don't even know if we're having son or a daughter. What will it looked like? Will both of us have to keep working for the rest of our lives? And how will Kristen take to the new baby?" He rambled. Anna cut him off with a kiss on his chubby cheek. He looked down at her, hoping he didn't scare her with his personal fears. She traced her fingers from the top of his head, across the side of his face, and over his cheeks to the end of his chin.

"Kris, we survived the first baby. That was the trial baby and she's turned out just fine. She's sweet and selfless like you. I know everything will turn out just fine, even if it is a boy," she teased, knowing Kristoff's wanted a son. "And if we have to work for the rest of our lives, so what. We'll always have each other. You, me, Kristen, and our little baby." She answered, feeling her eyes slowly drift shut. Kristoff laid back down, keeping her close to him.

"Goodnight, Anna." He smiled, cuddling in close to her.

"Goodnight, Kristoff." She mumbled back, cuddling back into him. She could feel his chest slowly moving up and down against her back as she slowly began to leave reality.

QOTC (Question Of The Chapter): What was the first Disney or Disney Pixar movie you remember seeing in theaters?

Mine was Cars

I decided to do a question of the chapter type thing because I want to interact with my readers more.

Guys, I'm really sorry for my slow updates. I want this to turn out good, I really do! But I've sort of lost motivation for this book. It's starting to feel more like a chore than a hobby. I really hate admitting it, but it's true. Maybe it's because of my fewer reads and votes, but it's not all that.

I will finish the book. I promise. I just don't want it to turn out like the rest of my books when I get sick of them. They all have terrible endings and they feel rushed. I don't want that for this book.

I will try to update. I just need to find some inspiration and some motivation. If you have any ideas that could possibly help me, I'm all ears (eyes??). Thanks for reading this chapter and making it to the end of my terribly long author's notes. And sorry for the terrible grammar and spelling mistakes. PEACE!
