A couple of days later, Callie woke up to the news that the Twilight Drive-in was closing. It was the place that Jughead worked, and the place Reggie asked her to be his girlfriend. She was not very happy with it, later Callie sat at a table at Pop's with Cheryl, Ginger, and Tina.

"If I have known that Mama Lodge was working as a waitress at Pop's, I never would have given Veronica a spot on the Vixens," Cheryl admitted.

" A job is a job," Callie spoke.

"It's off-brand and sends a false message about acceptance," Cheryl explained.

"After her TMZ-style take-down of Chuck, all the Vixens kind of like Veronica now," Ginger admitted.

"Do they?" Cheryl asked, unimpressed. Veronica's mom came over and picked up the check, Cheryl slammed her down on the waitress' hand.

" Be sure to out all that cash in the register," Cheryl demanded." You are a Lodge after all and Lodges are known to have sticky fingers."

"Cheryl," Veronica began as she walked over.

"Honey, I got this," Hermione Lodge held up a finger. " Cheryl, I went to school with your mother. She didn't know the difference between having money and having class, either," WIth that she walked away and Veronica smirked. They heard the doorbell, Callie looked over to see Mrs Grundy, with her dad and brother. She exchanged looks with Jughead and Betty. She looked down at her phone to see a text from Jughead.

Jughead: Go sit with them

Callie: I am on it

Jughead: Keep your ears and eyes open

Callie: I have done this before

With that last text Callie went and joined her family and Mrs Grundy at a table. She sat down next to Mrs Grundy.

"Hey, Betty," their dad greeted. Callie looked up to see Betty at the table, she then sent a look to Jughead, he threw his hands up.

"Hi, Mr Andrews," Betty greeted with a smile. "Ms Grundy, Archie, can I talk to you?"

"Sure, I'll call you later," Archie responded. Callie looked over and saw an annoyed looked on Ms Grundy's face. 

"No, actually, now," Betty asserted. " Just school stuff. Outside?" She watched her brother glance at Grundy before getting up at walking out with Betty. 

"Ms Grundy, this is Archie's twin Callie, " Fred Andrews introduced her.

" Dad, " Callie began. " We are at the same school".

"It's alright Callie," Ms Grundy assured her.  Minutes later Cheryl came by the table with the other two vixens.

"Ready?" Cheryl asked as Callie got up.

"I'll be home later," Callie told her dad.

"Don't forget your curfew," her dad reminded her.

"Dad!" Callie hissed at him before walking out of the restaurant with the other two girls. Callie sat next to Cheryl in the car, with the other two girls on the other side of her.

"Turn down the music," Cheryl ordered. Ginger turned it down, as all four girl's looked over. They saw Hermione Lodge and Jughead Jones' dad having a talk. " I spy with my little eye, Hermione Lodge, full of secrets". They watched the conversation unfold. " Riddle me this. hair models of the damned, why is Veronica's mother having a clandestine tete-a-tete with a Southside Serpent behind the dumpster at Pop's?" She then took out her phone and snapped a photo of the two adults.

The next day at school, Jughead handed her a slip for the last movie that would be shown at Twilight Drive-In.

"I'll be there," Callie assured as he walked away.

"Hey Callie," Betty asked handing her a good camera.

"What is this for?" Callie asked as Betty lead them towards the music room.

"Snap a pic of Grundy for me, I am doing a story with her," Betty answered.

"Betty," Callie began. " Don't do something erratic".

"I am not," Betty answered. " Just a bit of research". When they got to the room they saw Ms Grundy. Then Callie quickly got her picture with her permission before leaving the room. She was at the vending machine when someone tapped on Callie's shoulder. 

"What is it, Betty?" Callie asked.

"How did you know it was me?" Betty asked surprised.

"We used to be best friends remember," Callie reminded her. " Now what did you find out".

" I found out that Grundy also tutored music with Jason Blossom," Betty whispered.

"I think Grundy isn't telling Archie who she says she is," Callie said with wide eyes.

"Archie may be in danger," Betty added, " I am going tell him the news at Pop's later if he wants to hear it or not". She then walked away. After school, Callie was getting a ride home from Reggie.

" Twilight Drive-in?" Callie asked him.

" We have had more dates since this school year started," Reggie smiled. " I am in heaven ".

"So I guess that is a yes," Callie imposed.

"You know it my little strawberry," Reggie laughed before kissing her cheek.

That night before the drive-in, Callie was doing homework in her room when she received a phone call from Veronica.

"Hello," Callie answered as she put her on speaker phone. 

"Callie, we broke into Grundy's car," Veronica informed.

"Who is we? And why?" Callie immediately asked.

"Me and Betty," Veronica responded, " Important thing is that her real name is Jennifer Gibson".

"And she had a gun in her car," Callie heard Betty say on the other side of the car.

The next day Callie was at Reggie's house, they were getting ready for the drive-in together.

"What movie is being shown tonight? " Reggie asked as he came out into the room. He just got out of the shower and had a towel around his waist.

" A rebel without a cause," Callie answered as she fixed her hair in his mirror.

"That's a good movie," Reggie stated as he looked through his drawers for clothes. " What are you wearing?"

" Nice jeans and a nice shirt," Callie answered. " They are on your bed". Reggie looked over to see her clothes on his bed.

"Those jeans make your ass look good," Reggie smirked.

"Wear a shirt, where I can see your abs through them, and the sleeves hugging your biceps," Callie suggested. " It'll be dark, and cold, nobody will be able to see anything, but me."

"Got it," Reggie answered as he picked up a shirt. Callie thought about the time he asked her to be his, she looked down. " Are you alright?"

"The drive-in is closing," Callie answered. " It's special to me".

"I would never forget that day," Reggie remised. "The drive-on shall be gone, but it will always be in our memories". He walked over and kissed her cheek, she smiled.

Later that night, Callie sat in Reggie's car, she leaned against his chest as they watched the movie. Suddenly someone pounded on the door, scaring the two. Callie looked over to see Alice Cooper shining a flashlight at the two.

" I need you to come with me Callie," Mrs Cooper ordered. 

"Go," Reggie told her. Callie kissed him on the lips before getting out of the car. Mrs Cooper grabbed her wrist and dragged her to her dad's car. She banged on his door as well.

"Alice!" She heard her dad shout in surprise.

"I'm sorry to interrupt your adultery, Fred, but you need to come with me" Mrs Cooper ordered.

" Alice, what..." her dad began.

"It's about the kids," she informed him. Her dad immediately got out of the car and they followed Mrs Cooper to her car, Callie got in the back with Betty. They drove all the way to school, the whole way there, Callie was too frightened to look at Betty. When they got the school, they immediately barged into the music room. When they saw Archie and Ms Grundy pulling from almost kiss.

"Well, well, well," Mrs Cooper began. " There they are. What did I tell you?"

" Can someone tell me what's going on here?" Mrs Grundy asked. Callie and Betty avoided eye contact with Archie.

"Of course," Mrs. Cooper answered. " Archie, would you like to share with us what you and Mrs Robinson have been during your music lesson?" She air quoted music lesson. " And please don't leave out any of the lurid details, because Betty here keeps a very meticulous diary, and I'm more than happy to fill in the details." Callie couldn't help but look at the floor. " I never thought I would live to see the day. I thought the one thing that we could keep our Riverdale safe from was child predators."

"Ms Grundy's not a predator," Archie defended her. " She's a good person".

" Archie, you don't have to defend me, " Ms Grundy assured him.

"No, he doesn't," Fred Andrews agreed.

"Well, they're not denying it, are they?" Mrs Cooper pointed out. " They're clearly guilty. I think the next couple steps is we take this to Sheriff Keller and let the wheels of justice take over."

"Dad, you can't let this happen," Archie pleaded.

" Son, it's complicated," Mr Andrews said.

" She didn't force me to do anything," Archie informed. " I went after her. Everything that happened, I wanted it to happen". Callie looked up and saw tears in her brother's eyes. 

"There's no surprise there," Mrs Cooper said.

"Why are you doing this, Mom?" Betty asked, finally finding her voice. "Putting Ms Grundy on trial".

"This isn't just about her," Mrs Cooper said.

"Then what else is it about?" Callie asked.

"This about your twin," Mrs Cooper answered as she pointed a finger at her brother. " I want you to see what kind of person Archie truly is."

"Wait a minute, that is what this about?" Mr Andrews questioned. "Your crazy grudge against my teenage son?"

"I'm never going to stop being friends with Archie, Mom ever," Betty confirmed with tears in her eyes.

"We are done here," Fred Andrews stated.

"Oh, we are far from done here," Mrs Cooper argued.

" Stop," Archie ordered. " You're right, Mrs Cooper. You're right. I'm selfish, and I'm stupid, and I don't deserve to be your daughter's friend. But please, don't hurt Ms Grundy because you want to hurt me".

"This isn't about hurting anyone, Archie," Mrs Cooper said. " It's about doing what's right, and of course informing our neighbours".

"Mrs Cooper..." Callie began, her dad put a hand on her, making her stop talking

" Publish one word about this, Mom, and I will tell everyone that I broke into Ms Grundy's car," Betty threatened.

"Betty..." her mom began.

"That's I robbed her, and made up the story of their affair. It will be like I finally snapped. Like Polly," Betty continued.

"Betty," her mother repeated.

" It'll prove what everyone already thinks about us," Betty pointed out. " Crazy runs in that family. Like mother, like daughter".

"You wouldn't dare," Mrs Cooper said.

" I'll quit," Ms Grundy offered. Everyone looked at her. ' I'll quit my job. Will that satisfy you?"

"Yeah, it will, it has too," Betty answered. " And I absolutely would dare, Mom".

" She has to leave town," Mrs Cooper said.

" The hell she does," Archie said.

"Son," their dad said.

"Why does she need to leave town?" Archie asked.

"Because it's what's best," their dad answered. " And Alice will keep her word".

" I will," Mrs Cooper confirmed.

"I'll pack my things I'll be gone by morning," Ms Grundy informed them. She walked towards the door.

"Ms Grundy," Archie started as he went after her. She turned, looked at him, then left. When they got back to the movies, Callie saw that Reggie's car was still there, most of the people have left.

"Go to Reggie's tonight," her dad advised.

"Dad?" Callie questioned.

"Please," her dad insisted. Callie walked over to her boyfriend's car. She shined a light and saw he was asleep. Callie knocked on the door waking him up. He unlocked the door so she can get him.

"Is it alright if I stay at your place tonight?" Callie asked.

"You are always welcomed," Reggie assure her as he turned the car on. " Is everything alright?"

" I would rather not talk about it right now," Callie said with a weak smile. Reggie nodded understanding, and drive them to his place. When they got to his house, they went straight to his room. Reggie immediately fell asleep, while Callie laid on his chest staring out his window.
