Friday morning Callie was getting ready for school when Archie walked into her room.

"Do you want to go to the movies this weekend?" Archie asked. " It's been an awhile since us siblings have just hung out."

"That sounds fun," Callie said. " I am in for it."

"Great," Archie smiled as he walked away.

Sweet Pea was at his locker talking to Toni.

" I'm stealing Fangs for a night by the way," Toni informed him. " We are going to go see Love Simon at the Bijou.

"What am I supposed to now?" Sweet Pea asked in annoyance. 

" Possibly you can ask Callie to go to the movies with you?" Toni suggested.

" L-l-like a date?" Sweet Pea stuttered.

" And then you grow a pair and ask her out," Toni added, Sweet Pea turned pale.

" And what if she says no?" Sweet Pea questioned. " I don't want to risk getting humiliated."

" Then she is an idiot," Toni told him. " Don't continue wasting your time on her."

" But I really like her," Sweet Pea argued, his eyes went wide at what he just said. " Don't tell anyone I said that." Veronica then walked up to them with a box. " What do you want Lodge?"

" Woah there you are the one that came to me," Veronica reminded him.

" Came for what?" Toni asked raising her eyebrow.

" According to Sweet Pea...The shortstop has been doing a lot for the Serpents, and he wanted to get her something for everything she has done, but couldn't afford it, so he came to me," Veronica answered as she handed Sweet Pea the back.

" Sorry for snapping at you," Sweet Pea apologized. " How much do I owe you?"

" I want a video of her reaction," Veronica demanded.

" That's all? No debt, no other favors?" Sweet Pea asked in suspicion.

" Callie is my boyfriend's twin sister, " Veronica pointed out. " Her happiness is a priority to me." Toni looked in the box and smiled.

" It's so cute," Toni gushed.

" Sweet Pea, for warning Archie made plans to go to the movies with her this weekend, but I'm taking him up north this weekend, and we both think this will be a prime time to make a move," Veronica informed.

" Andrews is okay with me asking out his sister?" Sweet Pea questioned.

" You are willing to protect her as much as he is willing to protect her, in the book of Archie that is a win," Veronica explained.

Callie was now at her locker at school when Sweet Pea came up to her. 

"What are you doing this weekend?" Sweet Pea asked.

"Going to the movies with Archie," Callie answered. " Doing sibling bonding."

" Actually," Archie said as he walked up to them. " Mr. Lodge is letting me, Veronica, Betty, and Jughead go up to the Lodge's private cabin this weekend, couples only."

" Oh, " Callie breathed.

" I would invite you, but you are currently single," Archie reminded her. " We can do some sibling bonding next week."

" Yeah, that's fine," Callie answered.

" Thanks, Cal," Archie smiled, as Callie looked up at a book she was grabbing. Archie then winked at Sweet Pea before walking away.

"Looks like I'm hanging out with Vegas this weekend," Callie commented.

" Well, we can go to the movies together this weekend," Sweet Pea. 

" I'll go," Callie agreed, he looked at her in shock. " What?"

" Nothing," Sweet Pea answered.

"Wait is Callie Andrews and Sweet Pea going to the movies together?" Melody asked as she walked by.

"As friends," the two said together, they quickly took a glance at each other.

" Well don't have too much fun," Melody laughed before leaving.

"I'll pick you up," Sweet Pea offered.

"Sounds like a plan," Callie said before she walked into her class. After 5th period Callie was walked out of class when Jughead walked up to her.

" I'm going to try to investigate Veronica while up at the Lodge," Jughead stated. " Can investigate her parents?"

" I will try my best..." Callie trailed.

"What do you have better plans?" Jughead asked.

"I'm going to the movies with Sweet Pea," Callie answered. Jughead looked at her. " But I guess I can try squeezing investigation time in."

" Thank you," Jughead said. " Have fun on your date.'"

"It's not a date," Callie denied. " Its two friends going out for a fun night out."

" Keep telling yourself that," Jughead smirked. He then walked away, as soon as he was gone Kevin walked up to her.

" So, I'm directing the school's musical this year," Kevin began. " And I would be delighted if you choreographed the dances."

" You can count on me for that," Callie confirmed. " It will like amazing on my college applications."

"This is going to be great," Kevin smiled. " The musical is Carrie."

" Just hand me a playlist of all the songs and I should have them choreographed by next week," Callie informed.

" You got it, Callie," Kevin stated as he handed her a cd.

The next morning Callie woke up from a call from Toni.

" Hello?" Callie asked.

"Everyone is staying!" Toni cheered into the phone.

"Staying?" Callie asked.

" Hiram Lodge bought the trailer park, the eviction notices are gone," Toni explained.

" He did what now?" Callie asked.

" We will explain it later, come to FP's trailer for a party," Toni said before hanging up the phone. Callie then got up and got ready for this celebration. When she arrived, there was already a ton of people.

" Glad to see that you could make it," FP stated.

"Did you tell Jug yet?" Callie asked.

"I will call him right now," FP said as he pulled out his phone, he dialed Jughead and put it to his ear. Another hand covered his other ear so he could hear Jughead. Callie then leaned against a wall and stared at a spot on the floor. " We are all staying!" Everyone cheered. 

" Whatever you are worried about," Toni began as she walked up to her. " Save it for later, the party now."

"You're right." Callie agreed. " Those four are out of town, which means we all should be able to relax and have fun."

" Lets party," Toni laughed.

Callie was now in her room, she was doing her homework when she got a text from Sweet Pea, saying he was here. Callie threw on her jacket and headed downstairs.

" I will be back later tonight," Callie told her dad.

" Don't have too much fun," her dad told her. 

" I will exceed my funess," Callie said, he glared at her carefully. She then walked out the door and saw Sweet Pea leaning against his motorcycle with a box in his hands.

"What's with the box?" Callie asked as she walked over to him. He silently pulled an item out of the box, it was a bike helmet. " Nice new helmet."

" It's not mine," Sweet Pea answered as he handed it to her. 

" Fangs? Toni's? Jughead?" Callie asked.

" See for yourself," Sweet Pea ordered. Callie turned the helmet around until she saw that her name was on the back of it. Her eyes went wide, she then looked at him. " Do you like it?"

" I love it," Callie answered. " This-"

" I got some help," Sweet Pea answered. "And not from Penny." Callie put the helmet down and tackled him a hug. 

" Why?" Callie asked.

" You have done so much for the serpents," Sweet Pea answered.

" Your friendships is enough for me," Callie admitted. " Thank you for the helmet though." He then hugged her tighter and put his face in her hair, which surprised her. " Are you alright?"

" Fine," Sweet Pea answered.

Later that night Callie was at the Bijou with Sweet Pea, they were seeing Love, Simon together.

" Go find us some seats," Sweet Pea told her. " I will get the drinks and snacks."

"I'll get them, you go find the seats," Callie corrected, Sweet Pea then glared at her. " Fine, I will go find our seats." Callie walked in to find the theatre a bit crowded. She saw that Cheryl and Toni were here together, Moose and Midge were here together and so was Josie and Kevin. Callie soon found two empty seats. She waited five minutes till Sweet Pea took the seat next to her,

" I got us a large for both of us to share and two cokes," Sweet Pea stated as gave her a bottle.

"Thanks," Callie said. Soon they were watching the movie, the two were both highly engraved into it.

" But these last few years it's almost like I can feel you holding your breath," Emily explained. " You are still you, Simon. You get to be more you than you have been in a very long time. You deserve everything you want."

Callie wiped away a strand tear.

"Are you crying?" Sweet Pea asked in a whisper.

" A little," Callie admitted. 

"I won't judge," Sweet Pea whispered as he put his arm around her. Callie threw the popcorn in her hands at him. Sweet Pea then picked the popcorn off his shirt and ate it with a smile. After the movies, they ended up at Pop's together. They were sharing a strawberry milkshake when Sweet Pea put a ring on the table, it was Callie's serpent ring.

"How did you get this?" Callie asked picking it up in amazement.

" Dug through the Mantle's gym locker," Sweet Pea answered as Callie put the ring back on.

" Thank you!" Callie gushed happily.

"Your welcome," Sweet Pea nodded as he reaches over and grabbed her hand. The two looked up at each other, Callie was about to say something when they got interrupted.

" Callie?" Archie asked walking over to her.

"Aren't you supposed to be up at that Veronica's cottage?" Callie asked as Sweet Pea let go of her hand.

" It got interrupted when these two people broke in," Archie answered. " But I need to talk to you about something important."

"What is it?" Callie asked.

"  In private," Archie said as he glanced at Sweet Pea. " See ya at school Sweet Pea."

" Bye," Sweet Pea as Callie got up. 

" I had fun tonight," Callie said as he brother dragged her away. Archie looked back at Sweet Pea and mouthed sorry before leaving the resturant.

" When we were up at the cottage," Archie began. " This guy broke in, he took Veronica's necklace and I went after him. Then Andre, the Lodge's driver, took care of him....he shot him."

"Archie..." Callie began.

"You can't tell anyone," Archie pleaded. " Especially not Sweet Pea, and Hiram Lodge bought the register." Callie's eyes grew wide. 

" He just bought the Cooper's silence basically," Callie said.

" No he didn't," Archie denied.

" Archie," Callie began. " The Lodges have some insane plan for Riverdale, and I do not think it will be a good one. It will hurt the people." Inside the restaurant, Sweet Pea slumped against the window in frustration, Veronica walked over and sat down.

" I'm guessing she said no," Veronica stated.

" I didn't even ask her yet," Sweet Pea admitted.

" What?" Veronica gasped.

" I was going to, but her brother had something to discuss with her and dragged her out," Sweet Pea answered.

" I'm going to kill," Veronica groaned.

" It's fine," Sweet Pea shrugged. " She probably would have said no."

" That's insane, cause Callie texted me while on the car ride to the cottage," Veronica informed. " She was extremely nervous about tonight."

" Why would she be nervous?" Sweet Pea asked raising an eyebrow.

" For a reason, Vee, can't tell you," Betty interrupted the conversation as she sat down, Jughead sat with them.

" Cause if Veronica told you the reason, the shortstop will not talk to her for weeks," Jughead added.

" All you gotta know is she would not have said no," Veronica stated before receiving death looks from Jughead and Betty.
