Later that night Callie was in the kitchen with Archie, they were making peanut butter and jelly sandwiches together.  Suddenly, Archie took off running, he opened the back door and tackled the guy. Callie walked over when she heard wrestling.

"Stop!" She heard a familiar voice cried out, Callie watched Reggie pull a black off of Reggie. " It's me." He then pushed Archie ff of him. "Are you freakin insane?"

" What the hell are you doing here, Reggie?" Callie asked.

" Delivering your brother's uppers, clearly the last thing he needs," Reggie explained as he looked at Archie. " You've lost it, Andrews."

" You're the one here wearing this hood," Archie defended himself.

" It's called a prank, I didn't expect you to attack me," Reggie admitted. " What if I had been the guy? Eh? You would have just tackled him?"

"Yeah. Damn right," Archie answered.

" He has a gun, Archie," Callie pointed out. " He's shot, people. He's shot dad."

" Only a dumbass lunatic brings a baseball bat to a gunfight," Reggie added.

Callie was now in Reggie's car before school, they were making out when Reggie pulled back.

"Wanna know what I found?" Reggie asked.

"A rock?" Callie asked. " Your homework?"

" I found this in the pocket of your coat," Reggie answered as he pulled out a slip of paper. " Who's number is this?"

"Probably some lady from the hair salon," Callie answered as reached for the paper, but Reggie pulled it back.

"Then why does the note below say if you get in any more trouble call me?" Reggie asked the wires in Callie's head spun, the note was from Sweet Pea. " I am your protector, not this idiot, you are cheating on me with."

"Relax, I'm not cheating on you" Callie advised him. " It's just from the serpent boy, he is being nice."

" A SERPENT! " Reggie screamed. '" IS THIS THE SAME SERPENT I TOLD YOU TO STAY AWAY FROM!"

" He is my friend," Callie argued calmly, she opened the door to get out, but Reggie locked it. " Let me out, Reggie."

"No," Reggie growled.

" Reggie, why are you getting so mad? " Callie asked as she unlocked the door herself and got out. " He just wanted to make sure I was safe." 

"Those snakes are not our friends Callie," Reggie told her. " You need to stay away from them or else." He threw his drink at her, closed his door droved away. Callie went back home soaking wet, not wanting to talk to anyone.

Later that day Callie was in practice uniform cleaning the outside of Pop's with the other cheerleaders. Kevin was there to join them, Betty, Cheryl, and Josie were not present. Kevin went over to her.

"Hey Callie," Veronica greeted her.

"Hey," Callie greeted as she rubs off black paint off the building.

" Is everything better with you and Reggie?" Veronica asked.

"Honestly...no," Callie answered.

" How so?" Veronica asked. 

" He threatened me, went through my stuff while I was not home or asleep, and he threw his drink at me and rove away, " Callie explained. " It has got worse, if he pulls one more thing, I will break up with him."

" Or do it now, with a call," Veronica suggested.

"No," Callie denied. " I want to do it face to face."

" You don't have to come tonight if you want to avoid your boo," Veronica stated.

" No, I will come," Callie assured her. " I want to save this place as much as Betty does."

Later that night Callie wore a Pop's shirt and helped worked the restaurant with all the other cheerleaders. No one was there yet, so Callie stood in a corner with other Vixens. As time went on people, slowly came in, she was now currently talking to Betty when Josie, Melody, and Cheryl all walked in.

" Callie, why the hell did you broadcast all over social media that the Pussycats would be here doing a free concert tonight?" Josie asked angrily.

" I knew that if I asked you, you would have said--" Callie began.

" No!" Josie exclaimed. " If my mom even hears that I set foot in this place--" 

"Josie, you care about this place, I know you do," Betty insisted. " I see you in here all the time."

" Betty, Callie, even if I wanted to help, I'm down a cat," Josie admitted. " Valerie has norovirus---"

"I don't mind stepping in," Cheryl spoke up. " After all, if you can be a River Vixen, Josie, I can be a Pussycat. As long as it's a cover, I'm sure I'll know the lyrics."

" I mean, you do love your cheese friends, Josie.." Melody brought up.

" Fine, fine," Josie gave in, Callie and Betty looked at each other happily. Callie now stood outside with a few others and watched the concert for a bit, Cheryl was slaying it. At some point, some serpents showed up including Sweet Pea. 

" Callie, can you take that table?" Ginger asked. " I don't want to associate myself with those reptiles

" They are really not that bad, but yes I will take care of them," Callie said. She then walked over and stopped at the table, she looked up to see the serpents and Sweet Pea. 

" Are you staying out of trouble?" Tall Boy asked.

" Trying my best," Callie answered. " What I can you guys tonight?"

" Two chocolate milkshakes, a vanilla milkshake," the serpent answered.

"And a strawberry one," Sweet Pea spoke up. Callie froze for a second when she heard the words strawberry, she then looked up at them with a smile.

" It will be right up," Callie assured them before walking away. As she was making the order, Josie came over to her.

"Josie, see the boy with the tattoo on his neck?" Callie asked.

"Yes, why?" Josie asked.

"That's the serpent that escorted me home," Callie informed her.

" Girl, he looks yummy but dangerous," Josie joked. " You are dating Reggie."

"I know," Callie groaned. " He may be a pain in my ass at the moment, but I would never cheat on him." Veronica then walked over to them.

" What are you two gossiping about?" Veronica asked.

"Callie's snake savior," Josie answered. 

" I want to know who this is," Betty stated as she and Jughead walked over to them.

" It's the boy with the serpent tattoo on his neck," Jughead answered.

"How do you know?" Callie asked.

" Because he bugged me about you not texting him back at all," Jughead answered.

" I don't exactly have his number," Callie answered.

" Didn't he shove it into your coat pocket?" Veronica asked.

"Yeah, the one that the Mantle dug through," Callie responded before taking the shakes over to them. She handed them all out, she then looked up and saw Reggie handing Moose and Midge the stuff the wanted. She then looked back at the table. " If you boys need anything, just call me right over."

" Thank," one of the serpents said before she walked away. Afterward, Pop's had everyone gathered around he gave a speech.

" I gotta put her on the spot," Pop's started, he pointed at Betty. " It's thanks to this young lady here, that Pop's get to stay open tonight, tomorrow...As long as you folks keep coming." Everyone smiled and clapped happily. " Thanks, also to the Lodge family for a donation they just made that gives us a little cushion to weather any storm that might come up," everyone clapped and cheered. Soon Callie was pulled to the side by Reggie. He led her outside and on the side of the building.

" I saw you serving the serpents," Reggie stated.

" I was being nice," Callie defended herself. " They are nice to me, so I will be nice to them."

" You are an idiot Callie," Reggie growled. " I hope you get shot like your father, you deserve it after all this."

" You know what Reggie," Callie began. " We are over."

"What?" Reggie asked.

"Me and you are over, as of now, we are no longer dating," Callie said before turning away. She angrily began to walk away. He then grabbed her wrist.

"Let go of her," a voice said, they turned to see Sweetpea.

"Don't tell me what to do snake," Reggie warned.

"I'll take you home," Sweet Pea offered.

" No, you are not trusting this snake," Regie told her.

" You aren't the boss of me Reggie," Callie said. " And Sweet Pea, as sweet as it is, but thank you. I do not need saving," With that, she walked away.

" This is all your fault you slimy filth," Reggie growled angrily. He raised his fist before he knew what was happening, he saw Callie get in front of Sweet Pea, and he stopped what he was doing. " Callie!"

"Leave," Callie demanded, he did as he was told. Callie turned to look at Sweet Pea.

"I could have defended myself," Sweet Pea. " I don't need saving either, princess." With that, he walked away.
