Meeting Ceea Part 1

I woke to the sound of a coffee maker. I looked around urgently remembering what happened last night.

I was in a small room that looked like it belonged to a little girl. The blankets that were covering me were quilts and it's a lot  the bed from last night.

As I sit up my head aches and I look down at what I'm wearing. I realize I'm not wearing anything and I snuggle back into the blankets as I hear footsteps approach.

"Lady Ivy? You awake?" Asks a sweet female voice. I raise my head just a little bit to see who it is and the person takes that as I'm awake and enters the room.

"Good morning! My name's Ceea, it's a pleasure to meet you!" Exclaims the girl standing in front of her. Maybe in her late twenties wearing what most of the other rebels wear.

"Where am I?" I ask.

"Oh well about that, right now your in my cabin. This is-was my daughters room," says Ceea.

"What happened to your daughter?" I ask.

"She passed away," Ceea says quietly. I decide not to question her farther on that.

"Sorry, do you have any clothes that I could put in?" I ask.

"Oh yes!" Ceea says like she just remembered I was naked. I watch as she leaves the room and comes back with folded clothes in her hands. "Have a shower too and just come on out and we can talk more when your dressed," She says.

I watch as she leaves the room before I slip out of the blankets and into the bathroom. When I look in the mirror I can't believe what the person staring back at me looks like and I have to look away.

I have a quick shower before changing into the clothes Ceea provided me. I'm surprised when they fit really well.

As I take one more glance in the mirror I still can't stand myself and I have to look away.

I walk out of the room and I walk through the long hallways following the noise. When I arrive it takes my eyes a moment to adjust from the dark hallway to the bright kitchen.

"Here!" Ceea says handing me a steaming mug of coffee. I never really liked coffee, but if I don't drink it I'll probably be tired.

"Thanks," I say politely. I can tell Ceea sees my disconnection to coffee and she smiles.

"Don't worry, it's tea not coffee," Ceea says and I smile. Tea is a lot better then coffee.

As I sit down at the kitchen table, Ceea sits beside me and we both sit in silence until she says something totally unexpected.

"We need to get you out of here," Ceea says catching me off guard.
