~Lucy's POV~

"Erza, what bathing suit do you think I should bring?" I said laying two bathing suits on my bed. One of them was my usual white bathing suit, and the other one was something that Mira picked out for me. It was a strapless pink bathing suit.

Mira said that it would guarantee me a boyfriend. I blushed at the thought. I just couldn't deny her innocent, yet menacing, smile.

"Hmm, it's a difficult choice," she said as she studied them carefully. She was inspecting all sides of the bathing suit. "Bring both, I'm sure Natsu wouldn't care whichever one you chose." She showed an evil expression.

"Erza!" I screamed as I could feel my cheeks start to get hot. I had to get off of this topic before I died of embarrassment. "What about you Erza? Have you talked to Jellal lately?" I wiggled my eyebrows at her.

He expression instantly changed, so did the mood in my apartment. I hadn't meant to offend her, but she was defiantly thinking about him. "I'm sorry Erza, you don't have to answer that." I said throwing both the bathing suits in my bag.

"It's fine," she said as she waved her hand in front of her face. "I actually haven't seen him since the games," she said as she handed me some more of my handed clothes. I stuffed them in my suitcase and sat on my bed.

"Well, do you know where he is?" I asked as she sat down next to me. She sighed and looked down on at the floor.

"I have no clue," she said with a tone of sadness in her voice. Jellal was obviously a very important person in Erza's life. They went through a lot as children, especially when Jellal was possessed by Zeref. Jellal even gave Erza her last name, Scarlett.

"I'm sorry Erza." That's all I could really say, but I hugged her to show my affection. You could see the pain behind Erza's eyes. She stood up and faced me, the expression of sadness instantly gone.

"No matter, are you all packed?" She asked as she handed me my suitcase.

"Yea, let's go have fun!" I said through a smile. "I'm sure they will have strawberry cake at the resort!" Erza's pupils instantly dilated.

"Yes, I do hope so." She said as she daydreamed about cake. Her silly obsession with strawberry cake fascinated me. I grabbed my keys and whip, and exited my apartment. I made sure to turn off the lights and other electrical appliances.

We were about to leave, when I stopped Erza in her tracks. "Wait, I forgot something!" I ran back inside my apartment and grabbed something very dear to me. I carefully put it in my bag and ran back outside.

By the time I came back out, Erza had requipped into a white sundress, and a floppy hat. "What did you forget?" She asked as I locked my door.

"Oh, nothing really." I said as I smiled. She shrugged and we started to walk towards the guild hall. I always brought the picture of me, Natsu, and Happy wherever I go. Every single job, every trip to see my dad, everywhere.

I just couldn't part with it. It was one of the happiest days of my life. It was the day that Natsu asked me to join his team.

It was my happy photograph.

As soon as we got to the guild hall, there were multiple carriages waiting for us. Natsu sure wasn't going to enjoy the ride. Everyone was starting to load their suitcases in the back of each carriage. Mira had a clipboard and was directing everybody towards their group.

Erza and I ran towards her. "Mira!" I said as I waved at her. She smiled and met us near the doors of the guild.

"Good morning Lucy and Erza," she said as she checked our names off of the list. "You guys will be in that carriage over there," she said as she pointed to the last one in line.

"Thank you so much Mira!" I said as I gave her a hug. She laughed and accepted my hug. Erza also gave her thanks. Erza walked ahead, but before I could catch up with her, Mira grabbed my hand.

"Did you pack the bathing suit?" She whispered into my ear. I blushed and she laughed. I loosened myself from her grip, and ran towards the carriage. I could basically hear her menacing laugh from across the street.

I had to make sure that I wasn't blushing when I arrived. Erza, Levy, or Juvia would instantly suspect something. I put my suitcase in the carriage and let out a sigh. Trying to hide my secret was very difficult.

"Luce!" Natsu said as he grabbed me from behind. It made me jump, and I let out a little scream. Natsu instantly fell to the floor with laughter. happy was also rolling on the floor.

"Lucy stop it, your going to make me sick, and I just had yummy fish!" Happy said through a chuckle.

"Stupid cat!" I hissed at him.

"It works every time," Natsu said as he and Happy fist bumped.

"That wasn't funny Natsu!" I said through a pout. He continued to laugh, he knew that I wasn't actually upset with him. His contagious smile spread to my mouth. I couldn't help but laugh.

"Come sit with us Lucy!" Happy said as he sat on my head. I sighed, but accepted their offer.

"Lets go!" Natsu said as he grabbed my hand and pulled me towards the carriage. His hand was so warm, it was like I never wanted to leave this moment.
