As I was beginning to write this story, so many thoughts were going through my brain. I am so excited to begin writing! I am a huge FairyTail fan, and I can't wait to create my own story for these characters!

~Lucy's POV~

I opened my eyes as the crowd started to roar. The Grand Magic Games had finished, and I'm sure they were crowning the winners. I knew that FairyTail won, there was no doubt in my mind. I had full confidence after Natsu and Gajeel won their match against Sting and Rogue.

After my malicious fight with Minerva, I had been trapped in this recovery room. The medical supplies were really starting to creep me out. To make matters worse, I was all alone. Elfman had recovered enough to see the last of the battles. I also forced Wendy and Carla to watch the championship match. The crowd had given me no insight as to what was going on.

With Wendy's healing magic, I was feeling a lot better. Natsu, Gray, and Wendy all saved my life that day. Just thinking about the memory made me shiver. Minerva tortured me relentlessly. I have never been so ashamed of myself. I made FairyTail look weak, for the second time in a row.

What was I doing moping around? I needed to see my team win first place. They all fought so hard to reclaim their title. I couldn't stop fighting either. I threw the blankets off of me, and carefully put my legs over the side of the bed. I tried to put a little bit of pressure on my feet, but was instantly hit with pain.

This was going to be a lot harder than I thought.

I tried again, but found myself in even more pain. I sat back down on my bed in disappointment. I covered my eyes with my arm, and let out a sigh. As soon as the room fell silent, someone busted through the infirmary doors.

"Lucy!" A voice yelled at me from the doorway. I jumped and sat up. I will admit I was a little startled. "Come on Lucy, we're the best guild in Fiore!"Natsu said as he ran towards the foot of my bed. He was giving one of his famous "Natsu grins," which always cheered me up.

We won! We actually won! A smile spread across my face after I heard the good news. "All members of FairyTail must be at the ceremony, and how could we forget you?" Erza said as she trailed in behind Natsu.

"Yea, we wouldn't let it start without you." Gray said as he suddenly appeared in front of me. Eventually everyone in the guild was here. Levy, Juvia, and Mirajane surrounded me. I looked around the room in amazement. I couldn't contain my emotions.

"I'm so proud of everyone!" I said as a tear slid down my cheek. All of our hard work was finally paying off. "I know I didn't win any of my battles, but it means a lot that you guys remembered me." Levy instantly grabbed my hand and held it.

"We would never for get you Lu!" She said through a giggle. I wiped my tears with my free hand.

"Lets go!" I said as I threw my fist into the air. Everyone cheered at my comment and started trailing out of my room. I couldn't catch Wendy before she left so I was still immobile.

As if he could read my thoughts, Natsu scooped me up in his arms.

"I gotcha Luce," he said through a smile. I instantly blushed and said good bye to my stuffy recovery room. We left the infirmary to be crowned the winners of the 791 Grand Magic Games!
