Linh's POV:

Wylie and I are official now. And it feels amazing. Last night he finally asked me out! To a restaurant in Eternalia, he knows I can't be in Atlantis for that long. I pulled my hair into a loose bun and put on a navy blue strapless dress, covered in pink and yellow flowers. Diamonds showed on the petals like dew drops. I brushed silver eyeshadow ever my eyelids and slipped on black flats with silvery patterns weaving back and forth. I met Wylie by the Leapmaster, he stared at me,

"What?" I asked, blushing.

Wylie's POV:

I tried not to mess with the buttons on my jerkin. I couldn't believe she'd said yes. Looking up to the sound of footsteps, I saw Linh. I couldn't help but stare, she looked so beautiful. She noticed and blushed an adorable red. I offered my hand, and she took it. We arrived in a flash of light, I led her to a table, and we sat down.

After dinner, we took a walk along the beach near Tiergan's house.

Linh's POV:

The sunset was beautiful as we sat down on a rock, overlooking the sea.

"Hey, Linh?" asked Wylie,

"Mm?"

"I got something for you."

"Really? Aww, thanks Wylie, that's so sweet!" I said, "What is it?" He handed me a silver package, tied with a blue satin bow. I opened it to find a silver necklace, with a little heart charm dangling from it. The letters W+L were engraved on it. Seeing the side latch, I opened the charm and found a small drawing of us, hugging and laughing as if it were the most natural thing in the world.

"Wow. This is amazing! Thank you! Did you draw that?" I asked, slightly overwhelmed. He nodded,

"Yeah, I used to draw a lot. Figured I'd start again,"

"It's beautiful," I looked up at him, "I have a gift for you too," I cupped his face in my hands, and kissed him.
