Damon laid on the couch, Allison wrapped in his arms still weak.

"Once you recover, I'm gonna help you. We're going to make it so you don't weaken this badly." Damon whispered holding her close.

"Damon." Allison sighed softly.

"I will do whatever, I'll be your strength, your protector, and forever your lover." Damon whispered kissing the top of her head with every declaration.

"Anna took Elena." Stefan says walking into the room the couple lay in.

"Yeah, we got that from your 600 voicemails. Jeremy is on it." Damon says rolling his eyes.

"All night long, every single street in town, I've been searching. What if the blood I gave her is still in her system?" Stefan asks making Allison blink in confusion.

"You gave her blood?" Allison asks as Damon scoffs.

"Well, then at least you know you'll see her again." Damon says grabbing Allison's phone. "Jeremy can't reach Anna, I think she knows." Damon scoffs tossing the phone.

"You know where Anna is. Please tell me Damon."

"Nope. You can go." Damon says and Allison sighs. "What? I'm protecting you." Damon says down to Allison.

"Just tell him so we can rest." Allison whispers and Stefan blinks looking sadly at Allison.

"I say this sincerely, because I am done with it, I hope Elena dies." Damon says making Allison look at Stefan sadly and Stefan gets up to leave.

"What if it was Allison?" Stefan asked and Damon tensed.

"I would kill the people once I found them." Stefan nods and leaves the room. Damon groans as he notices the look Allison is sending him. "Fine. Stay here."

"Of course." Allison says smiling as Damon grabs his jacket and leaves. Allison shakes her head and lays back down on the couch. She shouldn't have used that much energy last night. Jeremy had already gone out and with Stefan and Damon out, Allison felt like letting her walls down. She hated appearing weak in front of her loved ones.

Damon caught up to Stefan and they headed out to search again.

"I got an idea." Damon said to Stefan before he rushed away and stopped in front of Sheila Bennet's house.

"Yes?" Sheila asked annoyed at the vampire.

"Elena is missing and Ally wants me to help find her." Damon said getting straight to the point. Sheila shook her head and closes her door. Damon growls softly but walks towards Stefan.

"She doesn't like you." Stefan says smirking.

"She blames Ally and me for Bonnie getting bit." Damon tells him and Stefan loses his smirk. "Let's head back Jeremy says he's looking for her." Damon says and Stefan nods as they rush back to the house. Once they reached the house Damon noticed Allison sound alseep on the couch.

"Is she going to be okay?" Stefan asked and Damon sighed softly.

"Ally's never used this much energy as often as she has been." Damon told him and Stefan looked sadly at his future sister-in-law. He knew that Damon and Allison would marry, he just didn't know when.

A phone ringing made Stefan rush into the study. Damon right after him.

"Elena? Are you okay?" Stefan asked hoping to hear his girlfriend's voice.

"She's fine. For now. Tell me you have the grimoire and she'll stay fine." Anna's voice said making Stefan tighten his grip on the phone. He looked up and Damon who nodded his head.

"I can get it." Stefan says with his eyes locked on Damon.

"Which means your brother has it. And I have the witch. So one of you had better meet me in the very public town square in 30 minutes so we can safely discuss how fun it's gonna be to work together." Anna said hanging up the phone. Stefan sighs and sets the receiver down.

"I'll call Jeremy." Damon said shaking his head as he walked out of the room.

Jeremy had just returned to the house after talking to Anna and shook his head.

"Why did you pull me away?" Jeremy asks as he notices his sister sleeping and Damon and Stefan looking around.

"Anna wants the grimoire." Damon says and Jeremy sighs. "I'm going to distract her, you get the book, and Stefan will save witchy and bitchy." Damon tells them making the two younger men shake their heads.

"Now please, we'll meet at Sheila's." Allison's voice causes them all to look at her.

"Ally..."

"No Damon, we need to end this somehow." Damon sighs and agrees. "I'm going ahead." Allison tells them as she walks over to Damon and kisses his lips before moving to Jeremy and kisses his cheek. Allison walked out and flew to Sheila Bennet's house.

"No Allison." Sheila said the second she opened the door.

"We need to destroy the spell or open it to trap Anna inside." Allison said and Sheila sighed.

"Are you sure Damon won't try to go in?"

"I'm sure." Allison told her with no emotion in her voice as she was sick of everyone doubting her mate's love for her. Hell Allison didn't want Damon to change, he did that all himself.

"Hmm." Sheila hummed and let Allison inside. Allison sighed as she walked in and Sheila studied her closely. "You've grown since meeting him." Sheila sighed sadly. "He's your mate, isn't he?"

"Yes." Allison said and Sheila nodded. Sheila could sense Allison was getting stronger, breaking the limiting spell that Sheila and her daughter placed on her 14 years ago. She knew as long as Allison met her mates, the spell would weaken and break.

The two sat in silence for an hour, Allison not knowing what to say and Sheila examining her.

"Grams!" Bonnie rushed into her arms followed by Elena and Jeremy. Stefan and Damon stood by the door.

"You both can come in, just this once." Sheila said looking to the vampires. Stefan nodded while Damon rolled his eyes and walked over to his mate.

"Are you okay?" Damon asked softly pulling her into his arms.

"I'm fine Dame." Allison sighed softly as she felt warmth surround her.

"How did you know where we were?" Bonnie asked looking at the vampires in the room.

"I confronted Anna yesterday. I had to know what she wanted and what she knew." Damon told the group. "It was easy from there." Damon smirked and Elena glared at the ground.

"So what do we do now?" Stefan asked knowing Allison had a plan.

"Destroy the grimoire or trap Anna." Allison said looking at Sheila.

"How many are trapped down there?" Jeremy asked curious as they never discussed the tomb.

"26, since Ally didn't hear Katherine's thoughts." Damon told him and shook his head. "Ally's right, even though I used to think I wouldn't care if they were free...they'll go after Founding families." Damon said looking down at his love.

"I won't destroy the book." Sheila told them and Allison nodded in understanding. "I'll need help though." Sheila said looking to Bonnie and then Allison. "Even your power will help."

"No." Damon and Jeremy said at the same time. Allison smiled and shook her head at them.

"Guys we need this to end." Allison said and they both shared a look.

"Fuck...okay." Damon relented knowing Allison and Jeremy would be safer once the whole tomb thing was dealt with.

"Alright." Jeremy said sighing in defeat. Elena and Bonnie shared a look but Bonnie didn't hold it long. Even Bonnie could see Damon was being truthful with his feelings and desires towards Allison.

"I'll set it up. Anna believes I want the tomb open."

"Tonight then." Sheila said and Allison nodded. "You four leave, Allison and Bonnie I still need." Damon glared but kissed Allison and held her close to him.

"Be safe, my love."

"Forever my love." Allison said softly kissing him back. When he released her Jeremy took his place.

"You better not hurt yourself Lee."

"I won't Jer." Jeremy nodded and hugged her tightly. Elena couldn't help but look away, she never understood why they weren't close like Jeremy and Allison were.

Allison, Sheila, and Bonnie stood near the tomb waiting for Stefan, Elena, and Damon to arrive. Jeremy was pretending to be clueless to the whole thing.

"Are you girls ready?" Sheila asked her granddaughter and Allison.

"Will this work?" Bonnie asked in return looking to Allison.

"It has to. There's too much at stake for it not." Allison told her with a sigh. "They blame the Founding families for their entombment. If released they will kill us all." Allison said as she listened to their thoughts, felt their pain, and seeing their memories. "Katherine caused them to get caught, meaning Elena will be enemy number 1 to them followed by the Founding families." Bonnie sighed as Sheila nodded knowing what Allison was saying was true.

"Cleared the debris away. Set the torches like you asked. We can get down now." Stefan said walking over to the three.

"What is that?" Bonnie asked noticing gas cans.

"We can't risk them ever getting free Bon." Allison told her and Stefan nodded going to her side.

"You okay enough to do this?" Stefan asked worried for Allison, she was so pale this morning and recovered a little more.

"Are we sure Anna will fall for this?" Sheila asked looking at the group.

"This has to work." Is all Allison said before turning to see Damon and Elena coming over. To make it believable they couldn't have Damon stay with Allison.

"Brother. Witches. Love." Damon said releasing Elena's arm and appearing at Allison's side holding her in his arms. "I don't like this." Damon whispered and Allison kissed his lips.

"I'll be fine, I promise."

"You better be, cause I need you." Damon tells her and she smiles brightly at him.

"Are we ready?" Elena asked as Damon and Allison walked closer to the group.

"I guess so." Bonnie says looking to Allison who nods.

Sheila walks closer to the tomb and Bonnie follows her, Allison kisses Damon one last time before heading over to them.

"You girls ready for this?" Sheila asks and both girls nod. "Alright...you three stay back. No matter what." Sheila says pointing to Damon who grinds his teeth but agrees. "Air. Earth. Fire."

"Water." Bonnie says giving Sheila the water bottle.

"That's it? Just water from the tap?" Elena asks confused making the three look at her.

"As opposed to what?" Sheila and Allison ask at the same time. Allison made sure when she was with Sheila and Bonnie earlier to learn everything she could.

"I just figured maybe it would have to be blessed or mystical or something.." Elena says blushing in embarrassment as Allison shakes her head.

Bonnie, Sheila, and Allison all join hands. Sheila told Allison that even though she is a mutant, she has some mystical properties so spells would come to her as they do witches. They began to chant.

"What are they saying?" Damon asks, his eyes locked on Allison.

"Sounds Latin." Stefan says holding Elena close to him.

"I don't think it's Latin." Elena shakes her head as she listens in on the chant. Sheila and Allison begin to chant louder and the torches flare up. Elena jumps and buries her head in Stefan's chest.

"It worked!" Bonnie yells as they stopped yelling.

"Of course it worked." Sheila says smiling at her granddaughter. Damon rushed to Allison's side as she swayed. "Allison?" Sheila asks worried.

"I'm okay." Allison reassures both Damon and Sheila. "Go." Allison said to Damon knowing him and Elena can't be seen for the plan to work. Damon growls and kisses her deeply before rushing to Elena and pulling her into the tomb.

"I can't believe I'm going to do this..." Sheila whispered as she walked to Allison's side. She put her hand on Allison's head and began to chant. Allison felt like fire was running through her veins and her blood was boiling. Bonnie gasped and rushed to Allison's side. "Don't touch her, she needs this." Sheila said weakening the spell she had placed on her.

"What...was...that?" Allison asked slowly and in pain.

"That was my gift to you." Sheila said before they heard a branch break.

"Oops." Anna said coming out to the clearing, Jeremy passed out beside her. Allison felt her eyes glow red. "Excuse me." Anna said and started to head to the tomb but Bonnie got in her way. "You think you can stop me?" Anna asked looking from Bonnie to Sheila, her eyes lingering on Allison. "If you don't get out of my way I'll kill Jeremy." Bonnie held her ground.

"Bonnie, move." Sheila said and Bonnie glared but listened.

"Why did you stop me?" Bonnie asked as Anna was gone.

"Damon and Stefan are the only ones allowed to exit." Allison told her as she walked to her brother's side. "He wasn't supposed to be hurt." Allison said placing Jeremy's head on her lap.

"Where's Elena and Damon?" Stefan asked coming back to the group.

"In the tomb, with Anna." Bonnie says glaring at the tomb.

"Don't worry he won't let anything happen to her." Allison said reading Stefan's mind. "He making sure no one else is missing. I told him I heard 26 voices." Stefan nodded in understanding.

"AHH!" Stefan and Allison tensed before Stefan rushed inside the tomb.

"Was that Elena?" Bonnie asked worried about her best friend.

"Allison come here." Sheila said walking back to where they chanted. Allison kissed Jeremy's forehead and joined Bonnie and Sheila. "We have to make sure only those two come out. No other vampire." Sheila told them and they both nodded.

Damon and Stefan pulled Elena away from Anna and her mother.

"Go." Damon said to Stefan, handing him Elena and rushing to break Anna's neck. Stefan rushed to the entrance and escaped the tomb with Elena who was shaken up. Damon growled in annoyance as Anna and the woman, her mother, pushed him back and rushed away.

Damon looked around and huffed before heading to the entrance. Once he exited he rushed towards Allison but she stopped him.

Alright, are you okay?

Little faint but fine, Sheila did something to me...I feel stronger.

Damon did as Allison asked and went to Jeremy's side. He sighs in relief as he could tell Jeremy was about to come to.

"They are pushing too hard...did you take any blood down there?" Sheila asks as Bonnie pales a little.

"No Anna did." Damon growls and rushed to the doors, Stefan beside him. "None of you assholes are getting free." Damon says and Anna glares at him.

"They deserve freedom." Anna hisses out and pushes harder. Stefan is surprised that the strain on Allison, Bonnie, and Sheila is just from Anna and her mother.

Damon we can't hold it much longer....

Fuck...release it baby we'll protect the town.

Damon growls as he rushes back to see Sheila and Allison glaring at the tomb and Bonnie sitting next to Jeremy out of breath.

"Are you three okay?" Damon asks shocking Elena as she believes he is evil.

"What are we going to do?" Sheila asks and Damon sighs.

"Hunt them down." Damon tells her and she nods.

"I'm sorry Sheila...." Allison sighs out in defeat.

"It's not your fault. It's better than us being dead." Bonnie says and Sheila nods in agreement. Sheila has a feeling that without Allison being with them, she would be too weak to live anymore.

"I didn't smell a lot of blood so it should only be Anna and I think her mom." Stefan says as he approaches the group.

"Hopefully." Sheila says and Allison opens her mind to the tomb to listen.

"More are stirring....is there anyway we can seal it again?" Allison asks turning to Sheila who shakes her head sadly.

"I'll take Elena home and come back." Stefan tells them as he picks Elena up.

"Why was Elena glaring at you?" Bonnie asks as she watches Stefan and Elena leave.

"She doesn't believe I love Damon and he loves me." Allison tells her and Sheila scoffs.

"Please even a cynical person can tell you two truly love each other." Sheila says making Damon smirk as he lifts Jeremy up.

"Let's get out of here." Damon says and the three join his side, walking to his car that Allison had driven over. Once he places Jeremy in the car Sheila and Bonnie get in as well. "We'll protect the town....cause I know you want to baby." Damon tells Allison and she gives him a smile, the smile he considers his because of the love he sees in her eyes.

"Thank you Dame." Allison tells him and kisses him deeply making Bonnie chuckle in the car.

After dropping Bonnie and Sheila off, Damon headed back to the Boarding house.

"Fuck that dude hit me hard." Jeremy complained as Allison cleaned the wound as best she could in the moving car.

"Next time you'll be more prepared." Damon said promising himself to train Jeremy how to deal with vampires.

"Damon look out!" Jeremy yelled causing Damon to stop suddenly. There in the middle of the road was Anna and her mother.

"Stay here." Damon said to Jeremy and Allison. Allison nodded and Jeremy did as well. "What do you want?" Damon asked getting out and Anna's mother stepped forward. "Pearl..."

"Hello Damon." Pearl said and Damon growled. "I see you found your soulmate. Katherine will be disappointed."

"She can go die for all I care." Damon said making Pearl smile tightly.

"We came to offer peace, we won't kill the townsfolk and you won't hunt us down."

"Fine, but one wrong move..."

"Understood." Pearl said before her and Anna vanished.

"Dame, let's get home." Allison sighed out and Damon gets back into his car.
