Allison had allowed Jeremy to stay home from school, seeing as the school believed them to still be on leave.

"Damon we need food!" Allison yelled shaking her head as she cleaned out the fridge.

"List?" Damon asked walking into the kitchen and Allison handed him the list before going through the pantry. "Um love, it's not spring yet." Damon joked and Allison turned smiling at him.

"I know but...eh." Damon nods before kissing her lips and leaving. Allison chuckled as she returned to her task of cleaning the kitchen.

Allison decided to listen to music on full blast why she cleaned, Jeremy did the same while practicing his new gifts. Like Allison, he was born a mutant but before being born their parents sealed his mutant side. Sheila Bennett unbound it for him.

While Allison was mental and could manipulate reality, Jeremy was mental and fast. He could now communicate with Allison easier, and she was teaching him to read minds. As for speed, Damon and Stefan tried to help him but he was faster than them.

Lee, I hear two different voices. One is Anna.

Allison stopped her cleaning and the siblings met by the stairs.

Allison nodded and at that moment Damon came into the house.

"Well this is an unexpected surprise." Damon growls as he sees Allison and Jeremy walking in to the room.

"Hello Damon, and two others." The older woman said.

"Jeremy..." Anna whispered in shock to see him and his older sister.

"How did you get in Pearl?" Damon asks pissed.

"Apparently you didn't file the paperwork properly for Miss Gilbert to be owner." Pearl said holding the leasing document.

"Jenna." Allison and Jeremy said at the same time making Damon groan.

"I'm surprised that you keep these humans around."

"Yeah." Anna agreed with her mother, Damon narrowed his eyes as Allison used her mist to freeze them from moving.

"Interesting." Pearl said her eyes zeroing in on Allison's exposed wrists and collarbone. "I wonder, how many marks do you posses girl?"

"Why does it matter?" Allison asked annoyed.

"People talk." Pearl said smiling lightly. This girl in front of her was important, far more important than the Doppelganger. "Could you release us, I just want to talk." Pearl asked and Allison released her after reading her mind.

"Talk." Damon glared and the siblings took a seat across from Pearl and Anna. Damon taking his place beside Allison.

"We've taken up residence at a farmhouse just outside the town. It'll suffice for now." Pearl said causing Damon and Allison to share a look.

"All 25 vampires?" Damon asked, still bitter that they had to release them all. Damon didn't want Allison, Jeremy, or Caroline in danger.

"Not all, some. I imagine that a few have already left town. Others are probably still in the woods or like us acclimating." Damon shares a look with Allison who nods. Jeremy is keeping an eye on the two vampires, his mind reading their thoughts.

"You were never supposed to leave the tomb." Damon says annoyed that Allison got weakened helping the witches.

"I understand from Anna that the founding families still have a secret council?" Pearl asked looking at Allison and Jeremy.

"And you're a part of it." Anna said making Damon shake his head in denial.

"That's ridiculous."

"I've been in Mystic Falls since the comet, Damon. I'm up to speed...for the most part." Anna sighed looking at Allison and Jeremy.

"I am up to speed, and I know that you've infiltrated the council, with two votes. I'll need to know everything they know. Starting with a list of all the council members and their families, besides the ones who are under your mate's protection." Pearl said locking eyes with Allison.

"And everyone you've supplied with vervain."

"Yes, that will have to stop immediately."

"Not happening." Allison said making Anna glare at her.

"What exactly are you trying to achieve?" Damon asks stepping in their line of view to Allison.

"Mystic Falls is our home, Damon. They took that from us. Our land, our home. It's time we rebuild."

"What, are you crazy? It was 1864. Wake up woman, the world has moved on."

"As a reward for your help, I'm willing to give you and your mate what you need."

"We need nothing." Damon said shaking his head.

"Her other mates and Katherine dead." Pearl said causing the couple to look at each other.

"You wouldn't know anything. You've been under the ground for the last century and a half." Damon scoffed trying to deny his interest in finding out more about the men he'd have to share Allison with.

"Katherine and I were best friends long before we came to Mystic Falls, Damon. I know more than you do." Pearl said getting annoyed.

"We don't need your help." Damon denied and Pearl shot up, pushing him into the seat she left.

"I'm not asking for your help, Damon. I have four hundred years on you little boy. If it wouldn't cause pain to your mate I'd rip you limb from limb without even blinking and you know it." Pearl said before turning to Allison. "I'll be in touch, Allison Gilbert." With that the mother and daughter left the house.

"Damon!" Allison rushed to his side and he shook his head.

"She wasn't lying...she knows about your other four marks Lee." Jeremy says causing the couple to look at him. "She saw the books....one of them made contact with you."

"What?" Damon asks shooting up and rushing out making Allison and Jeremy share a look.

"He's going to get himself killed." Jeremy says and Allison groans sitting with her head in her hands. "You don't remember running into anyone interested in you?" Jeremy asks and Allison begins to shake her head before stopping.

"At Bree's....she said she called someone who might have called one of them...she said they've been searching for a long time for someone with the initials AG."

"Okay..."

"The next day those books were delivered, saying they were from Bree. I called her, she didn't send them."

"So we got a clue."

"His name is Elijah." Allison groans out shaking her head. "All the books, they are published by an Elijah with different last names."

"Every single one?" Allison waves her hand and Jeremy uses his new speed to read them all. "Jeez...okay...I'm really glad I only have the one marking now." Jeremy says making Allison laugh softly.

"I love you Jer."

"I love you too Lee."

Allison groans as she and Damon walk into the bar.

"What don't want to crash double date night?" Damon asks smirking as they sit at the bar.

"I don't want Elena to question why I told Care everything."

"Caroline is your soul-sister and we both know it." Damon says rolling his eyes at the mention of Elena. "Besides she already knew about you and you didn't even have to tell her."

"I know." Allison says smiling happily. Even with all the craziness she still has Caroline and Jeremy.

"How's Jer doing on the reading?" Damon asks and Allison smiles like a proud parent.

"He still gets the headaches but it's better than when I started." Allison tells him and he nods before kissing her lips softly. "Oh god..." Allison groans as she pulls away from Damon to see Kelly Donovan eyeing him. "Cougar alert."

"Her? That's Matty-boy's mom?" Damon asks shaking his head.

"Yup. Kelly is a bitch. I had to mess with her mind a few times when she was here full time."

"Damn babe." Damon smirks proudly at hearing that. "I thought you hated using the gifts?"

"I do...but she deserved it." Allison told him with a pout making him kiss her again.

"Hello Bachelor 5." Kelly said before noticing him kissing Allison. "Oh Allison..."

"Hmm hey Kelly...you meet my fiance Damon?" Allison asked annoyed since she was enjoying the kiss.

"Hey." Damon says keeping his eyes on Allison, he kinda hopes she'll use her gift to send Kelly away or something.

"Fiance huh? How's Tyler taking that?" Kelly asked hoping to make Damon jealous and leave Allison.

"Tyler and I are not together." Allison tells her shaking her head at Kelly's petty attempt.

"My sister would never stoop that low." Jeremy's voice says and Allison notices him using his gift making her shake her head slowly and both siblings close their eyes.

Jeremy sighs as he opens his eyes but stops his mental attack on Kelly Donovan.

"Anna asked to meet with me at Jenna's house." Jeremy says getting straight to the point of why he walked over to his sister and future brother. Kelly, thankfully rushed off.

"Do you really want to meet with her?" Allison asks knowing her brother was growing to like the odd teen vampire.

"I mean I could get more info from her." Damon shakes his head no and Allison sighs before agreeing.

"Ally no, she could hurt Jer." Damon says and Allison smiles at him.

"He's not asking us Dame, he's telling." Allison says and Damon groans but turns to the youngest Gilbert.

"You be careful, come home in one piece, and no letting her bite you." Damon tells him and Jeremy smirks before hugging Allison and leaving. "God kids are hard work."

"Eh might be worth it in the end." Allison says smirking at the defeated look on Damon.

"Do you want kids one day?" Damon asks, knowing if she does he will find a way for her to have children.

"Yeah, I always imagined having twins." Allison tells him laughing. "Artemis and Apollo. Care and I used to plan out our lives."

"Yeah?"

"Mhm. I had twins, she had one, and her son and my daughter always ended up together." Allison says smiling at the memories. Damon can't help but laugh and shake his head, he knew how strong the bond was between the girls and hearing this made him realize he changed. It didn't bother him like he thought it would.

Sure he wasn't the carefree, fuck with everyone vampire he used to be but he didn't want to be anymore. Allison's happiness meant the world to him, and his meant the world to her.

"I'll be back." Damon whispered kissing her lips before leaving to go steal some more blood bags.

"Be careful, I heard they were running low." Allison told him as she had snuck into the hospital a time or two to steal some for him without him knowing. Damon nodded and left. Allison smiled as she watched him go before her attention was drawn to the double date between Caroline, Matt, Elena, and Stefan.

"I'll be back." Caroline whispered to Matt before heading over to Allison. "God they keep rehashing the past." Caroline hissed sitting next to Allison.

"I read his thoughts." Allison tells her and she stills. "Wanna know?"

"Ally....part of me does." Caroline groaned making Allison smile. "But no...what kinda girlfriend would I be."

"Alright but get over there. Trust me." Caroline sighs but nods and heads back to the table making Allison smile. "Good girl." Allison whispers before standing up to leave.

"Hello Allison." Pearl's voice stops her.

"Pearl."

"Please sit back down." Allison sighs but does as the old vampire says. "We didn't get to talk much earlier and once I left your mate followed me."

"He already knows." Allison says staring at her.

"Yes I gathered as much. Now, we need to talk. Although most vampires will say they will kill you, trust me...once they see the markings you bare, no one will ever threaten you."

"Why are these so important?" Allison asks curious.

"No one has told you, because none remember meeting your other mates."

"What do you mean?" Allison asks making Pearl smile.

"You are either very lucky or cursed Miss Gilbert. Perhaps we will discuss it once you learn more. As for that list, I still want it."

"If you go after the council, they will hunt you down." Allison tells her and Pearl pauses and sighs. "I want peace in Mystic Falls, don't you? You can make a new home here Pearl."

"So powerful and yet naive. You're mates will either save you or destroy you Allison. We'll be in touch." With that Pearl left and Allison sighed.

Allison sits next to Damon, her legs over his lap.

"Stefan is showing them his car huh?" Allison asks drinking some of his bourbon.

"Yup, which reminds me. We need to get that deed fixed and soon."

"Maybe we shouldn't." Allison whispered making Damon look at her shocked.

"Ally, you're not safe..."

"Dame, Jer and I are both gifted. We can hear everyone in this town and possibly the next if we trained ourselves more. No one will get past the four of us in this house."

"Ally you saw what Pearl did to me. I'm not the oldest out there." Damon sighs understanding where his mate is coming from but he wants her safe as possible.

"We can do it Damon, I promise you that love." Allison tells him and he nods his head, still not agreeing with her.

"You two okay?" Stefan asks coming in confused at the couple's looks.

"Yeah we're fine Stef." Allison says before shooting up making both vampires on edge. "Get ready." Allison whispers, mist coating her hands.

"What are you..." Stefan started as the glass broke and two vampires jumped in. Allison grabbed one with her mist while Damon caught the other but he overpowered him.

"Stefan!" Allison yelled tossing the vampire to him as he had a stake in his hand.

"No!" The other vampire yelled and rushed away before the three could stop him.

"Damn it." Damon growls and Stefan looks to him.

"That was one of the tomb vampires wasn't it?"

"Yeah." Damon and Allison say at the same time.

"Pearl and Anna came here this morning." Allison says looking at the glass. "That window would be expensive." Allison shakes her head and waves her hand over and over again until the window is repaired.

"What did they want?" Stefan asks with a heavy sigh as he looks at the room.

"Pearl wants the founding families punished." Damon tells him as he starts to pick the broken furniture up. "Ally, they got your favorite chair." Damon says shaking his head. Allison turns and sighs before waving her hand around it.

"There all fixed." Allison says smiling. Damon and Stefan both share a smile and they laughed softly.
