Allison was laying in the parlor with a bunch of books surrounding her and her computer.

"What are you doing?" Damon asked walking in with his whiskey.

"Applying for college and these are books that Bree sent me via Lee. They were on the doorstep this morning." Allison tells him as she closes her computer.

"Oh?" Damon asks sitting on the couch next to where she laid.

"It's an online college love." Damon just nods and picks up one of the books.

"Soulmates and how it works by Elijah Smith?" Damon scoffs and tosses the book. "How would a human know."

"I don't think he's human Dame." Allison says and Damon raises an eyebrow. "The way he writes." Allison explains but Damon just shrugs. "So did you discover how Elena and Katherine are related?"

"Nothing, you?"

"Well I was two when she was born....but it's like I can't remember anything." Allison sighs. "Then again my first memory I remember is when I was 3 and Elena was almost a year." Allison tells him. "However I did hear my parents talk about telling her something when she was older."

"So she's adopted." Damon summarized and Allison smiled at him. "I haven't found where Emily's cookbook is."

"I have." Allison said proudly making Damon laugh. "It's still in its hiding place for now."

"Oh?"

Damon rolled his eyes, he should have seen it himself.

"Well I'm going to the Grill wanna come?" Damon asks standing up.

"Nah Dame. Enjoy." Damon nods and kisses her before leaving. Allison smiled as she turned back to the books Bree sent her. Everyone was done by an Elijah, but different last names. "Might be a family name." Allison thought aloud as she opened her phone to call Bree.

"Hello?"

"Bree, it's Allison." Allison said and she heard the noise quiet down.

"What's up Allison?" Bree asked as she walked into the back room.

"The books did you send them?" Allison asks as it had been bothering her. The note said it was from Bree but Allison had her doubts.

"Books?" Bree asked confused. "I didn't send any why?"

"I got a huge box of books with a note saying 'Hope these help, Bree.' I didn't know for sure if it was from you or not." Allison sighed laying her head on the floor. "Other than Lee did you call anyone else?" Allison asks hoping to get some answers.

"I did. Like I said they've been searching for you, but there is no way they could find you that quickly." Bree told her shaking her head.

"I figured as much. Thanks Bree." Allison sighed and Bree smiled weakly as the door opened.

"I gotta go kid, I'll reach out later." Bree told her and hung up. Allison blew some hair away from her face as she looked at the books. One didn't make any sense to her, 'The Curse of the Sun and Moon.'

"Lee!" Jeremy yelled making Allison sigh as she sat up. Ever since they got back Jeremy had been acting off.

"Yeah?"

"I think I found out who it is!" Jeremy said excitedly as he ran into the parlor to spot his sister on the ground.

"Oh?" Allison asked looking at him.

"I met a girl, Anna. She knows lots about vampires." Jeremy says pulling out a book. "This is a Gilbert Journal. I've been reading it. They are so cool." Jeremy says handing her the book.

"This holds the location of the grimoire...Jer don't show this to anyone." Allison said and Jeremy nods his head. "I'm gonna make a fake copy okay?"

"Yeah sure Lee. How was your trip to Georgia?" Jeremy asked leaning against the couch.

"Met Bree. There is another way like we thought so..." Allison sighed laying back down.

"I'll be safe Lee. I know that's what you're thinking." Jeremy said smiling at her. She smiles back and pulls him to lay next to her.

"I'm sorry we haven't had much us time lately." Allison says with a sad face making Jeremy smile.

"Us time is everytime Lee. We're a pair remember?" Jeremy asks and Allison nods. The siblings have always had a strong bond, they know each others emotions. "Do you think I'm like you?"

"I don't know Jer....you might be, but you'll have your own abilities." Allison tells him and he sighs softly.

"I wanna be a mutant like you." Jeremy said softly and Allison smiles at him.

"I know Jer, I know."

Allison is walking around town taking photos for her website to sale before the natural light from the setting sun goes away. For the last ten minutes she's had the feeling of being followed.

"You can come out or I'll make you." Allison says not looking away from the forest view she is trying to capture.

"My, my, you're smarter than I thought." A voice chuckles as Allison snaps the photo before turning around.

"You made Elena hit you...why?" Allison asks looking the vampire over.

"She looks so much like Katherine." The vampire says and Allison rolls her eyes. "You on the other hand.....you seem to possess lots of power."

"Because I do. Leave my sister alone." Allison says dropping her camera around her neck.

"Or what?" The vampire asks and Allison lifts her hand, the red mist surrounding it.

"I'll make you." Allison tells him and he smirks at her.

"I've heard about you, the mutant. You're lucky you're protected." The vampire says before vanishing. Allison shakes her head as she opens her mind. Her eyes begin to glow red. Once she is sure she is alone she looks at her camera. She had snapped a photo while he wasn't aware.

"Why did he say I'm protected?" Allison sighs out before walking back to her car. She was suppose to meet Elena and Bonnie at the Grill 15 minutes ago.

It doesn't take her long to reach the Grill and find the girls.

"First of all, the Elena I know would always want the real truth, good or bad."

"And second of all?" Elena asks nodding to Allison as she sits down.

"You just found out your boyfriend is a vampire, so unless your birth parents are aliens....how bad could it be? Hi AJ." Bonnie say noticing the older girl.

"Hey Bonnie and she's right Lena. I'll be doing my own research into this, you need to go to the source. Jenna." Elena shook her head laughing.

"Okay. I have to go to the store. My outfit for the dance is severely lacking accessories." Elena say standing and giving Allison a hug. "You are coming right?"

"Of course. I love the decade dances." Allison said sarcastically making both girls laugh.

"Ok, I'll pay the bill." Elena nods and gives Bonnie a hug before leaving. "You want something to eat? My treat." Bonnie asked smiling at Allison.

"I'll pay, I'm sorry about what happened Bonnie." Allison says making Bonnie look at her. "You weren't supposed to get hurt."

"You got hurt too AJ. I saw you get thrown through Emily's eyes." Bonnie sighs and Allison smiles weakly.

"I wanted to protect you....I got distracted."

"Grandma says you knew Emily was trying to reach out to me?" Bonnie asks and Allison nods. "Could you hear her?"

"I felt her. She said she'd help and protect you." Allison sighed and Bonnie smiled.

"I'm fine AJ, I promise." Bonnie told her and she nodded smiling as they both got up and went to pay. As Allison pays a guy approaches Bonnie. Bonnie looks over and waves Allison off and she smiles before shaking her head and walking outside. Elena is standing still.

"Lena?"

"Phone." Elena whispers and Allison takes it.

"Oh the older sister to the rescue right?" The vampire from earlier says and Allison looks around. "You won't find me....you know maybe I should move my attention to you." With that the guy hung up and Allison glares at the forest.

"Go straight home and come to the Boarding house tomorrow." Allison tells Elena who nods and does as she is told. Allison walks to her car, Elena's phone still in her hand.

Allison, Stefan, Damon, Jeremy, and Elena are all sitting in the library.

"Why me? What does he want with me? And if he's trying to kill me, then why call first?" Elena asks as Stefan walks around to sit next to her. Allison is looking out the window while Damon is at the table with Jeremy.

"He approached me yesterday as the sun was setting." Allison said making everyone look at her. "I took a picture, but somehow he knew." Allison sighed shaking her head.

"He's stalking you both then. It's what we do." Stefan says to them as Allison looks at them. "We hunt. We stalk. It's often as exciting as the kill." Elena pales and Allison sighs. "I want you to take this. It's useless here with us." Stefan says handing her the compass that Jeremy allowed him to.

"Jeremy's watch?" Elena asks confused.

"We got it back from Logan and Jeremy's been holding onto it." Stefan told her and she nodded her head. As she opened it she noticed it looked different.

"What happened to it?"

"It's not just a watch. It's a compass for vampires." Jeremy says taking it from Elena and sitting it on the table. "Damon can you leave the room? It can't decide between you and Stefan." Damon nods and rushes.out. Elena watches as the needle whirls around before locking on Stefan.

"It will let you know when a vampire is near." Allison says walking over to the three. "Keep it on you at all times." Elena nods and Jeremy along with Allison walk out of the room. "Get going to school."

"Yes Lee. Love you."

"Love you too....wait is the chick you met a vampire?"

"Yup, don't worry I'm being careful....but she seems nice." Jeremy sighs out and Allison smiles as he walks away. Allison walks into her bedroom to see Damon laying on the bed shirtless.

"Mmm best sight ever." Allison says making Damon look at her smirking.

"All yours baby." Damon tells her and she smiles crawling over him. "I don't want you leaving alone." Damon whispers as he slowly kisses Allison's face.

"Dame...."

"No Ally, this guy actually approached you. What did he say?" Damon asked sitting up making Allison sit on his lap.

"That I'm lucky I'm protected and then on the phone that maybe he should move the attention to me." Allison sighed out and Damon narrowed his eyes.

"You are not going alone, anywhere." Damon says and Allison nods softy. "I love you Allison soon to be Salvatore."

"I love you Damon Salvatore." Allison whispered as she dropped her lips onto his.

Allison sighs as she pulls her hair into a ponytail with a large blue silk tie around it as a bow style.

"50's, fun." Damon says pulling on his leather jacket.

"Why do I have to dress like a good girl?" Allison asks turning to him and he smirks at her.

"I think you look hot. Besides I'm the only guy who should see you in leather." Damon tells her as he walks over to her and wraps his arms around her. Allison smiles at him and kisses his cheek.

"Al, we need to get to Elena." Stefan says rushing into the room in his outfit.

"What's wrong?" Damon asks pulling away from Allison.

"Compass." Stefan said making Allison rush out, Damon and Stefan beside her. "Where's Jeremy?" Stefan asked not seeing the youngest Gilbert.

"School." Allison and Damon say at the same time. Stefan rushes ahead while Damon picks up Allison.

"Ready?" Allison nods and buries her face into Damon's neck as he vamp speeds to the Gilbert House. Once Damon and Allison reach the house they notice Elena on the couch looking scared.

"Lena." Allison leaves Damon's arms and rushes to her sister's side.

"How did he get in?" Damon asks as he keeps a close eye on Allison.

"He was invited in." Elena sighs out softly as she sits wrapped in Allison's arms.

"He posed as a pizza delivery guy last night." Stefan rolls his eyes as Damon raises his eyebrow.

"Well, he gets points for that." Damon says as Allison looks at the door. "We need to get him tonight, you up for it?" Damon asks Elena who looks worried.

"What do I have to do?"

"We go to the dance and see who shows up." Damon tells her and Stefan nods his head, worried for the girls safety. Once Elena is calmed enough the four head to the school. "Go hang with your friend. I'll be by the punch." Damon whispers into Allison's ear as they see Bonnie and Caroline. Allison smiles and kisses Damon's lips.

"I'll save you a dance." Damon smirks as he watches her walk away.

"Hey!" Caroline says pulling Allison into her arms. "I missed you!"

"I missed you too." Allison tells her as they hug each other. "We still on for this weekend?"

"No clue yet." Caroline says smiling softly in apology.

"It's cool Care." Allison says smiling and Caroline nods as Bonnie keeps her eyes on Damon. "Everything okay Bonnie?" Allison asks and Bonnie smiles shaking her head softly. "If it's Damon, he's innocent trust me."

"Okay." Bonnie says smiling as Caroline looks around the school.

"I'm bored, lets go Bonnie. We'll talk soon yeah?" Caroline asks pulling Allison back into her arms.

"Course Care, have fun girls." Allison says hugging Caroline tightly. As she released her, Allison watched Caroline and Bonnie leave the dance. Elena and Stefan approach her.

"Where did they go?" Elena asked her sister.

"They got bored." Allison said smiling while shaking her head. Elena smiled laughing softly as Damon approached them with two drinks.

"Here Ally." Damon said handing her the drink.

"Thank you love." Allison smiled and pecked his lips as Elena lead Stefan to the dance floor. Damon smiles at Allison as he decides to lead her away from the floor. "Damon....I sense something." Allison whispers making Damon pause.

"Where?" Damon asks looking around the gym.

"Can't tell, too many thoughts." Allison sighs out and Damon kisses her temple. Damon leads her to a wall where he can see the whole gym easily. Allison begin to gently sway to the music making Damon smile down at her as they are approached by a teacher.

"Hey, umm I don't recognize you guys. How'd you get roped into chaperoning? Alaric Saltzman. I'm the new history teacher." Alaric introduced himself to the pair.

"I'm Allison Gilbert and this is my fiancee Damon Salvatore." Allison said smiling at the man. Jeremy told her about him.

"Gilbert and Salvatore as in, uh, Stefan, Elena, and Jeremy?"

"Stefan's my little brother. I'm his legal guardian and Ally here is Jeremy's guardian." Damon told him smirking. "Hence the chaperoning. Ally maybe you should go dance with your brother?" Damon asked turning to Allison and she nodded kissing his lips and saying bye to Alaric before heading to Jeremy who was by himself at the moment.

"Hey Jer." Allison said sliding up to her brother.

"Lee, shouldn't you be dancing with Damon?" Jeremy asks smirking at his sister.

"He's integrating your teacher. I wanna dance with you." Allison says as she drags her brother to the dance floor making him laugh. After one dance Jeremy headed back to the table where a girl had approached him. Allison sighed softly as she headed over to Damon.

"Not so fast." A hand and voice stopped her. "Follow me." She recognized the voice as the vampire stalking Elena.

"I'm not going to let you hurt my sister." Allison said releasing a bit of her powers through her finger tips.

"She looks so much like Katherine. I knew her you know....however you...you are interesting." The vampire told her as he pulled her out of the gym.

"Damon is going to kill you." Allison hissed out opening her mind to Damon however the vampire wasn't making it easy for her.

"Nah I'll get you, get your sister soon and kill those Salvatore brothers." The vampire smirked as he pushed her into the janitor closet. "You stay here." He told her before shutting the door and barricading it. Allison gritted her teeth and tried to concentrate on Damon again.

Damon...babe can you hear me?

Ally? Where are you?

That fucker locked me in the janitors closet. He's after Lena. Please protect her.

What about you?

Allison sighed as she cut the connection. She honestly didn't know how to get out without drawing attention. Closing her eyes she slowly felt the items blocking the door and sensed that thankfully no one was around.

"Okay you got this Ally." She whispered as she slowly began to move the items away from the door and to the other side of the hallway. Once she was sure the items were out of the way she opened the door. "Now to find Damon." Allison sighed out feeling drained since she's never used that much concentration. As she opened her mind to find Damon she began to feel faint.

Thankfully at that moment Jeremy was leaving the gym and heading her way. He was bored and had already got his extra credit.

"Lee!" Jeremy yelled as he noticed his sister lean against the door behind her.

"Jer?" Allison asked softly smiling. "Hey bubba." Jeremy began to look her over and she chuckled. "I'm fine, just drained."

"I'll go find Damon." Jeremy said before rushing away as Allison decided to sit on the floor.

Damon sighed softly as he picked Allison up, Stefan and Jeremy behind him.

"So you think this guy was linked to the others?" Jeremy asked as they walked outside.

"Yeah. What do you know of the girl you were talking to?" Stefan asks him as the moon shines down on the four.

"She's a vampire but she doesn't know I know. She wants the Gilbert journal for some reason." Jeremy tells them as Stefan opens the door for Damon to place Allison into the car's passenger side.

"Did you give it to her?" Damon asks as he faces them.

"Not the real one. Lee and I hid it." Jeremy says shaking his head.

"Okay good." Damon sighs out thankful his mate plans ahead. "Let's get home."

"I'll see you three later." Stefan says before rushing to Elena's house. Damon chuckles as he gets into the driver's seat, Jeremy behind him.

"Hey Damon what happened to her?" Jeremy asks still worried about his sister.

"The fucker we killed blocked her in. I think she drained herself." Damon sighs out also worried about Allison. "I'll keep her in bed tomorrow and give her some of my blood."

"Why?" Jeremy asks as Allison never discussed vampire blood with him.

"We can heal. Our blood heals others but if you die within 24 hours you turn." Damon tells him and Jeremy shakes his head leaning back into the seat.
