Ok since all of you really love the previous one-shot. I decided to made an alternate ending. But it still involving their death so... Enjoy~

Maybe prepare some tissues because when I ask my friend to read this thing in my notebook she cried🤣

Zeref laid there, unmoving. His eyes were widen and his muscles are too tired to move. His eyes soften when he remembers that he already lose a fight with his own little brother, Natsu. Natsu was exhausted, fighting his own older brother that he loved, wasn't easy. The young pinkette's magic actually can killed Zeref. But he hesitate to kill his big brother and Natsu realized that Mavis had something to talk with Zeref. Natsu panted heavily while watching Mavis get near to the black wizard. He doesn't want to disturb their moment, but his legs are too tired to walk. Natsu fall to his butt and silently watching and listening the conversation between them

"Zeref..." The first guildmaster's dull olive eyes look at the black wizard's dull onxy eyes, "Mavis..." She sigh
"Zeref, you've lost"
"I'm aware at it... Natsu, you're doing a great job on defeating me and you're getting stronger each day..." Natsu look at Zeref
"I'm proud of you" The black wizard smile. Natsu's eyes widen a bit. "Nii-chan..." He smile, the only word that Natsu actually wanted to hear from his only biological brother is that...

'I'm proud of you' Zeref's words ranging in his mind. 'Zeref-nii is proud of me' Natsu smile

"Although, I will fully healed in any minutes because you didn't kill me, Natsu"
"I don't want to..." Natsu's bangs shadowed his eyes
"Why?" Zeref stare at his little brother, hoping that the young mage will answer his question. Why Natsu doesn't want to kill him?

"Because... You're my big brother... My family... I can't kill my family member..." Tears flowing down from his eyes
"Natsu... But sorry... You're E.N.D... Not my Natsu" Zeref look at the ceiling, "The Natsu I love is dead 400 years ago... So don't just suddenly exclaimed that you're him"
"That's enough, Zeref!!" Mavis shout, felt pity for the young pinkette. Natsu was crying and close his ears, not wanting to heard Zeref's words
"That's enough torturing Natsu with your cruel words!! You had some unfinished business with me!"
"Alright then... What is it?" Mavis's eyes soften
"I... I just figured out why I can't take your life 100 years ago..."
"How?"

"It seems that you're actually love me in the first place. The more you love a life, the more it will be taken from us. Also that time, you were true to your heart that you actually love me and that's why the curse kill me in the first place... But if I actually love you that time, why can't I took your life?" Mavis kneel beside him
"It because the bottom of my heart still didn't trust you... But... I believe that... If I truly love you this time... But I don't want you to die too..." She held her hands to her chest
"But I was the only one who understand your loneliness, sadness and guiltiness... I want you to live but... You're a threat to the guild... You tried to destroy Fairy Tail... You cost a pain to my friends... You killed Makarov... I hate you!!" She cried with all her heart
"Mavis... I..." She look at him and start punching his chest

"Die! Die! Die! Die! Die! You don't deserve to live! I hate you! I don't love you at all! Die! You killed Makarov!! You killed my friends!! I hate you!! I don't want you to live! Die!!" Tears rapidly flow down her cheeks. Natsu look at the founder with widen eyes. He wanted to stop her but he decided not to... For an unknown reason

"I hate you!! I don't love you!! I don't want to see your face!! I don't want you to live... Please just..." Mavis laid her head on Zeref's chest and cupped his cheek,

"Just... Die..." 'Please... Don't die...'

Mavis lift her head and kiss the black wizard. His eyes widen. Tears flowing down her cheeks. She broke the kiss, "This sucks..." She mumbled. Natsu jaw drop
"Thank you, Mavis..." Zeref cries, "I finally archieve peace... I finally can sleep peacefully..." Golden yellow start to lighten up surrounding them. Mavis interlock her hand at Zeref's
"Take me with you..." She laid beside him
"But you need to live..."
"Does the bottom of your heart feel like it too?"
"Oh no... I will take you with me" Natsu's bangs shadowed his eyes. He walk closer to the lover

"I want to follow you too..." He laid at Zeref's side, using Zeref's armpit as a pillow
"But your friends..."
"Zeref-nii is more important to me... Because if you die... I will die along with you" Natsu look at his brother with a smile. Zeref stare at him and Mavis chuckled
"So... It's mean the three of us died together then..." Natsu and Zeref nodded. The black wizard held his little brother and lover close to him. Mavis and Natsu interlock their hands together and kiss Zeref's cheek

"I love you, Zeref/Nii-chan"
"I love you too, Natsu... Mavis..."
"Let's go... Together" Tears flowing down their eyes as their life slowly been pulled out from their bodies

"It's warm..."
"Of course, silly... This is Fairy Tail's heart after all"
"Zeref-nii sometimes can be an idiot" Natsu chuckled. Zeref smile
"So... This is what death feels like..."
"It's so warm and peaceful..."
"Anyone who discovered this feeling..."
"Surely understand..."
"The magic that mostly people don't understand..."
"But once they knew it..."
"They will know that..."

"The power of love... Is the one true magic" They all said together

Lucy pant heavily. She, Gray and Happy had rewrote the book of E.N.D, Natsu's book. As Lucy continue to wrote it, the floating red writing stop and return to the book. She close the book

"That's it... I had wrote every memories we shared with the Natsu we know..."
"The Natsu we know isn't a demon..." Happy look at the book. Lucy smile at him. Then she fall to her side. The red pattern at Lucy's body keep on growing and Gray quickly catch her
"You've done your part... Let me destroy that demon inside of you"

Gray active his demon slayer magic. He hold Lucy's shoulder and wrist then he casted his demon ice on her. Soon the pattern on her body disappear. Lucy cough and thanked Gray. She stare at the book before picking it up and stand. Gray and Happy look at her

"Let's go to the guild..." She suggest
"What?! I thought first said that we can't go near the guild!"
"I don't know why but... I have a sudden feeling that... We need to go there, Gray..."
"But..."
"Please..." Lucy stare at him. She held the book tightly to her chest. Gray look at the book before look at her. He sigh
"Alright, let's go" Gray smile and Lucy smile back

The three of them run to the guild. But stop as an unknown golden beam and some white pattels slowly disappear from the guild

"What is that?" Gray look at the guild. Lucy stare at the guild before the book in her hand start to glow in green light. Gray, Happy and Lucy look at the book as the book slowly faded away
"Zeref's been defeated..."
"When the book vanished... Natsu will..." Lucy's eyes widen
"No!!" She ran
"Lucy!!"

The duo chase her. Tears flowing down Lucy's eyes and she silently hope that Natsu isn't going to die too. She slam the guild's door open, but the only thing she could saw is... Nothing... Just a destroyed guildhall. Lucy fall on her knees. Gray and Happy look at the empty guildhall

"Natsu?" Happy flew around the guild hall while Gray look around... But both of them didn't see the sakura hair dragon slayer
"Hey! This ain't funny!!"
"Natsu! Where are you?!"
"He's gone... Natsu's gone..." Lucy cupped her face. Gray and Happy cried
"NATSU!!!!"

"What is that?" Gildarts look at the guild that not to far from them
"It's coming from the guild..." They all look at the guild's direction but didn't notice a certain old man, had moved his fingers and open his eyes
"Is the war... Finally over?" The voice started all of them

Each and everyone of them slowly look up towards the voice and look at the old man in Laxus's arm. Tears building up in Laxus's eyes as he look at his grandfather

"Gramps..."
"I had a strange dream..." Makarov mumbled
"Master!!!"
"You're alive!!" They all cheered as their beloved father figure finally woke up from his sleep
"Life just flowing warmly inside of me..." He narrow his eyes
"In my dream... I saw three figure... A boy with all black cloth... A barefoot girl... And a young boy with cherry blossom hair... They all look so happy together..."

The scene changes. Zeref, Mavis and Natsu are running at the golden grassland. They all hold each other's hand and laugh happily as they finally get to live with each other for an endless of time. Like the life they all wanted for years

Well the one year after just as same as the previous one. So how was it? Did you cry? Or happy for the three of them. Also I really hope that this thing happened. I really wanna see Zeref and Natsu being together as brothers😭
