00 ~ Chance Encounters
Eunha hummed softly under her breath as she walked down the road. Her bag weighed heavily against her shoulder after hours of lagging it with her - but couldn't dispose.
Her legs already felt like jelly and she was dying to sit down and rest. She didn't dare to in case she fell asleep right on the road. It had already been over seven hours since she got separated from Haneul and she was beyond lost. She must've circled the entire area about thousand times now trying to find her friend.
The only thing she had to be thankful for was that the streets were still streaming with people. As a defenceless girl, she didn't even want to think of the possibilities of walking around alone at midnight.. Thankfully, Seoul had a busy nightlife. Had she still been back home... the possibilities were too horrifying to even think of.
Not paying a lot of attention to where she walked, too tired to even keep her eyes open, she ended up walking onto a side road.
Still barely paying attention - which was, even she admitted, idiotic of her. Already lost without wandering off - she ended up taking a side street.
It the noises that roused her from the trance.
Snapping out of it, she looked around in panic. She was on a side road, pretty far from the busy city centre, with barely anyone on the road.
That's when her eyes fell on three men. Two standing over one on the ground. It was their shouts that had alerted her to their presence.
Scared out of her mind, she stood rooted in her spot. She didn't know what to do. Helping the man was out of the question. She couldn't fight the two men and she could easily be at a disadvantage by calling attention to herself.
Not to mention her phone had long since been dead to even call for help. She cast her eyes around, looking for something or someone who would be of use to her. The street was deserted. There was not another soul to be seen in sight.
Biting her lip, she turned back to the men. It was her luck that with a glance around, the two mugging men took off in the opposite direction from her. It was also her luck that she was standing in the shadows, hence the men not spotting her when they looked around.
Making sure the men were well away from the street, she crept closer to the man struggling to get up.
"Excuse me? Are you okay?" She asked, her voice no louder than a whisper.
A/N~
Hey lovely readers and fellow ARMY's. So I'm trying out a BTS Fanfic.
I'd love to know what you thought of the prologue. We still haven't started with the story, this was more like and introduction, so chapters would be longer that 400 words I promise.
I always welcome constructive criticism, so don't hesitate to leave your opinions on what you think is wrong or right with what I've written. And point out any and all typos I have missed under editing.
Thankyou so much for taking your time to read XD ~
