Sanyukta sat down remembering everything .
It was the day of her graduation night she had waited for this day.
Their was a small party arranged by cultural group for them.
It was decided that they would meet at a particular place and then head towards the destination.
"Sanyu,finally I can't believe that I had done this "
Arushi took a relief breathe,
"Yeah after 3rd attempt you finally graduated "
Ruchi mocked her,to which Arushi  gave a *whatever *look and sanyukta smiled looking at her two best friend's tuning.
Ruchi was sharp ,intelligent this genes were inherited from her lawyer dad.She herself was a law student.
They both were friends since schooldays.
While Arushi and sanyukta were college bestfriends.
Arushi was a princess she belonged to the Jadhav  family a powerful strong local builder with having strong political contacts.
She just had one aim to get marry soon to her fiance.
That night had different aura within in it.
Sanyukta had dressed in a black papleum  dress while Ruchi was all ready to kill the dance floor with her shimmery sapphire blue kneelength dress while the princess Arushi  was happy with her white and silver coloured  frock style dress.

A copper coloured Mercedes benz entered the colony making all the neighbours grasp.
Sahil side hugged the girls.
They drove off to the party venue.
Sahil looked hot in his black blazer with a white tshirt underneath paired with blue jeans.

The loud music, rhythmic dancing of lights on the tunes of Billy wood sound rushed energy  into the veins of the youngsters.
They hit the dance floor, Sahil sticked to sanyukta while Ruchi was more interested in Abhay  who was Sahil's cousin.
Arushi  was happy dancing with sanyukta until her fiance rishab didnt enter the scenario.
    "Sanyu, one drink ....
   "No, mumma  will kill me with her bare hands "
"Chillax  dude I the guru of all  drinkers will show you how to maintain yourself in front of your family members "
Ruchi  joked .
"Once I went home drunk mom opened  the door I bend down pretending that I was untieng  my shoe lace till then she went away thanks to Sahil's idea".
"Oye it was my idea you  champu  Abhay "
Ruchi attacked Abhay who was praising his friend.
Sanyukta too lost in the tempt and curiosity took the acidic sip and burning the down the oesophagus.
One sip turned into shots,shots turned into packs.
Droopy eyelids, tired body that couldn't digest the amount of fun she had gulped.
Sanyukta  looked at herself in mirror remembering those events she could remember  till this.
Guilt started seep inside her system but her inner will was firm that she wasn't guilty.
"What about the Scratches and wounds on legs and hands?"
she had completely forgotten  about the next day appearance of her and her friends.
Though they had tactfully lied to her that it was due to the alcohol  which made her do various antics and the frequent falls caused by it, from that day till the moment randhir spilled out the truth everything seemed to be convincing but from the moment randhir enlightened her from the half truth she was in dilemma  various questions clouded her mind.
Randhir on the other hand felt so light after spitting the truth.
He felt that the weight of baggage  he had been carrying all these years had finally lifted down.
Whenever he closed his eyes he could see sanyukta innocent filled eyes.
He came back just to see sanyukta sitting lost.
First he thought not to disturb her but seeing her lost suddenly a fear knot seemed to pop in his stomach.
   "Sanyukta. ....
He called softly,getting no response he shouted on his top voice and shook her hard.
     "SANYUKTA. .....

She looked at him getting out of her trance and said,
   "Randhir, I can prove you that I am innocent, I .....
"Sanyukta ,don't play games with me ....
"What the hell do you think of me randhir actually what do you know about me ...nil ...leave it I can prove you that I am not guilty and remember A Person Is Innocent  Until Proved Guilty ,so I am not proved and you yourself told that you were also injured infact you were hardly conscious.....

"I hadn't seen you my whole life and I had potrayed you ...

"Okay fine this is my last chance I will prove you that I am not guilty and ....If I am then I  will do whatever you say.....

"Okay deal "

"Fine ,I will call all of my friends and then you yourself ask them ....

Something strike randhir and he said:
"Sanyukta call Sahil and ask him to meet you , he knows something I have this gutt feeling and yeah ...right he had came to my place to talk about something .....

"Really , okay I will call him and if they are hiding something......wait I have plan how to get the truth out "

"Okay, done but remember  if it's found out that you are guilty then you have to deliver the child and leave from our lives and there is no returning back, Deal? '

"Okay Deal  I agree with  all of your clauses I won't come back in your life or ......I wouldn't see the child.
But if I am innocent then you would leave me,...no ....you won't leave you will marry me officially in front of everyone accept me in your life"

Randhir was shock at her statement he want her in his life, somewhere he felt happy.

No , he can't agree to her clause.

"Sanyukta I can't keep you forever in my life "

"Why ? "

"Because my wife is alive but she is half dead I can't leave her in that condition, her spinal cord and womb were damaged badly , only her eyes are functioning properly that is she can see us hear us but can't react her whole body is paralysed  her will power died at the spot when she heard about the child, .....I can't leave her in that condition ....I can't .....
He ran out of the room,leaving sanyukta alone but kavya  who had over heard everything decided to take major step.
   "Bhai ,If sanyukta is innocent then she won't go anywhere, I won't let you destroy your whole life  thinking about her  happiness who is on ventilation for life support I won't let you destroy your whole life"
Kavya had decided her next steps, her brothers happiness mattered to her.
