Prolouge
Okeeeey so I usually don't write prologue, because I see no point in them, but I kind of needed it. It would have been really confusing if I didn't include it. I also tried to keep it short without many details cuz it's boring and stuff, but I hope someone reads this byeee.

Hurriedly the woman gets into the passenger seat. As soon as she entered, her presence called for attention and defined authority. Her straightened brown hair reached her shoulders, and she had defining dark brown eyes. Curiously I wondered why she called for an uber, not to judge, but she could outshine the queen of England.
She looked old enough to my mother. Or possibly not. I didn't exactly have the best judgment seeing as how I never even met my mother.
She looked at me for a split second, "Hurry please, I must get there on time," and then began rummaging through her expensive looking tote bag. I looked at the bag vaguely; probably cost more than I did.
"Ma'am you haven't told me where you're heading yet," I said. I surprised myself with my tone of voice. It sounded so formal and yet, it wasn't even intentional.
"Oh right. Here actually I have the address." her freshly manicured hand handed me the address and I copied it down onto my phone. I didn't bother giving it a second glance to see where I was actually heading.
Five minutes into the drive, the lady calls someone. "Damien, tell your dad I'll be there in 20 minutes, and make sure the business men aren't bored. Don't be stupid if they say anything offensive." There was a pause then she scoffed, "We need this more than they do. Do as I say!" She hissed, then switched off her phone.
Then she looked me for the first time. I felt uncomfortable and tense under her narrowed gaze. It felt like she was analyzing and criticizing every centimeter of my body. Then she spoke, "you seem quite young, what're you doing being an Uber drive?"
"Uh t-that's actually a complicated story." After moving from foster family to foster family, and going through hundreds of different situations, the story starts to stretch on to the point it's a hassle to remember it all. Although the nightmares I have every night, endlessly remind me that I'll never be able to fully forget.
"I see," was all she said before giving me her million dollar smile. Literally.
"Not to be rude, but you don't seem like someone who would ride an Uber...?" The words tumbled out before I could stop them. Why was I embarrassing myself?
"My chauffeur got stuck in traffic, and I'm in a rush. I had no other choice."
"Ah a-alright." I squirmed and payed attention to the road.
Suddenly, I heard cars honking and realized there was a semi truck coming in our direction.
I screamed as the next few moments seemed to past by like a flash of lightening. Still I managed to try and swerve the car so the lady wouldn't have to be on the side that got hit. Her life actually mattered.
The trucks front hit the trunk as I managed to turn the car sideways. Then I felt something sharp, and screamed in agonizing pain when it dug into my side. Then everything went black in an instant.
