"Why bhabhi?", Rudra asked

"I'm sorry. I realise my mistake now please forgive me", Anika said with tears. She is in a pool of regret for breaking his heart like this and now when she told about her mistake to Rudra, she is more ashamed

"Ask this from bhaiya. I will drop you ", Rudra said and rubbed his hand on Anika's shoulder. Anika nodded, she sighed in relief that Rudra didn't shout at her and didn't fight with her. Rudra gestured for Anika to sit inside the car and tie her seatbelt. Anika nodded and looked outside as she don't want to talk right now otherwise she would have asked why Rudra is not angry at her

"Relax bhabhi, everything will be fine", Rudra said and started to drive. He is angry at Anika a little bit for not trying to understand Shivaay but he knows he won't have any right to interfere as Shivaay is also at fault in his eyes. He knows Anika belongs to the middle class but still he should have announced to people that he is married to Anika. If he did it before then this would not have happened.

Anika replied with an ok and passed a smile towards Rudra because she consider him as her brother and respect him. Rudra always proves that he is not a child anymore, he is just innocent. This is the reason that her bond with Rudra is much stronger than anyone else.

"Thank you ", Anika said when Rudra stopped his car near Shivaay's office. Rudra replied "mention not bhabhi" and opened the door of Anika's side after coming out. Rudra helped Anika to come out of the car and asked her to relax first, he can guess how scared Anika is and fears that if something happened to her? Anika nodded and wiped her tears with the back of her hand and started walking, Rudra also started to walk behind her as he don't want to leave her alone.

"Is bhaiya inside the cabin?", Rudra asked the receptionist when they entered Shivaay's office

"Yes, but he said he doesn't want to meet anyone. He cancelled all meetings and is working inside maybe", said the receptionist. She knows Rudra is Shivaay's brother and the fact that Shivaay never stops his family to come in his office. If someone is with Rudra then she must be a part of his family. She said whatever Shivaay said a while ago when he closed the door of his cabin.

"Ok", Rudra said and gestured for Anika to follow him. Anika nodded and started to follow Rudra praying in mind to meet Shivaay here. She was taking long breaths to control her tears which she knows will start flowing if she saw Shivaay. She won't know if Shivaay will open the door or not, by chance if he did then will he talk with her? She doesn't have any answers

"Bhaiya... Bhaiya", Rudra shouted and banged on the door of Shivaay's cabin

"Yes Rudra", came Shivaay's voice. Anika shivered hearing him as she realised that she need to face him within some time. She started to feel restless again, she became nervous now as she don't know how Shivaay will react.

"Open the door ", Rudra said and continued banging on the door of Shivaay's cabin. Anika held her dress tightly in fear as she guessed that Shivaay will be opening the door anytime soon. And when she heard the opening sound of the door with a jerk, she flinched in fear and looked toward Shivaay

"Yes sa...", Shivaay stopped in middle finding Anika with him. If he knew Anika is also with Rudra then he would have never opened the door. He looked into Anika's eyes and realised she was crying, her dark circles and teary eyes told him that she was upset. Anika also guessed by looking into his eyes that Shivaay was crying just because of her. She kept into his eyes but soon Shivaay broke their eyelock

"Because she is married to you and can't accept someone's proposal you fool", Shivaay thought and broke eye lock. He stepped back and opened the door completely for both of them as he can't stop Anika to come inside now.

"Come inside ", Shivaay said and gestured for both of them to sit when Anika and Rudra entered his cabin

"I just came to drop her here", Rudra said and asked Anika to sit and was about to go when Shivaay stopped him

"Don't go. If you came with her then you should take her as well ", Shivaay said

"You... You can also drop me", Anika stammered while saying this, her main reason to ask this question was to check if Shivaay is angry with her or not. His reply made her sure that Shivaay is very angry now.

"I am not your servant or driver. Ask your so-called friends to do that either ", Shivaay said angrily, he is angry and jealous too because someone just proposed to his wife in front of him and his wife kept quiet, That directly pinched his heart.

"You guys carry on I will wait for bhabhi ", Rudra said and left from there after closing the door. Shivaay went towards his seat and start to act as if he is working as he don't want to destroy things more in anger. He doesn't create any scene here as that will insult both of them but he knows somewhere this will happen for sure if Anika started speaking something.

"Shivaay...", Anika was about to say something when Shivaay interrupted her.

"It is good that you came here", Shivaay said and forwarded the divorce papers which Khanna gave him. Getting papers is easy but the procedure is long, he knows that but he can wait but can't fight with her anymore

"Sign it. Let's end everything here", Shivaay said in a hoarse voice as his heart felt heavy while saying this. He doesn't want her to sign then but at the same time, he won't want to tie her into a namesake relationship.

"No I can't do this, please Shivaay doesn't do this to me", Anika pleaded and went toward his side with tears. Shivaay noticed her tears and turned his face aside to give a reply as her tears were hurting him.

"Seriously? Is it you saying it who never tried to make this relationship work", Shivaay said and went away as Anika came towards him.

"Shivaay first listen to me. That was Chanda who messaged you and provoked you...", Anika said but Shivaay interrupted her

"Ok I understand about that but what are you going to say about yourself being quiet when someone was proposing to you? You were hiding our marriage, you opened your choda and didn't fill your hairline. What are you going to explain? ", Shivaay asked angrily and held the table tightly to control his anger as he don't want to hurt her now

"I was hiding about our marriage because you wanted isn't it? Shivaay what I would have said if they asked me to show your photograph? Do you think people don't know you? If not for my reason even then I would have hidden our marriage Shivaay, just because you said", Anika said, Shivaay rolled his eyes and chuckled hearing her. He doesn't understand what was the need to remove every trace of her marriage then. Why she was ashamed to call herself married?

"What about that proposal then?", Shivaay asked angrily

"That was not me proposing to him Shivaay and I didn't reply to him because I came to see you ", Anika said and was about to touch his shoulder but he stepped back. He noticed her tears again and wanted to wipe them but how? He can't express how he is broken and how can he forget what he saw today. The first time he felt Anika is not happy with this marriage

"You ran from there to hide your face seeing me", Shivaay said and looked towards ceiling to control himself from breaking down in front of Her. He wants to accuse her of many things but he doesn't have words now, he is facing difficulty to question her because of his emotions. His throat dried, he drank water and took a long breath again to hear her

"You thought like that? Then why I was calling you? Shivaay I came to meet you, I was calling you to meet me so that I could explain everything to you ", Anika said panicking that Shivaay misunderstood her again

"I was not ready to listen to any lie. I want us to end everything now, we will remain as friends at least hana?", Shivaay asked as he thinks that Anika doesn't like him and this fact feels like she is stabbing his heart.

"No, I will not sign these. We will stay as husband and wife, not friends", Anika said and tore divorce papers and wiped her tears to talk with him

"When we don't respect "us" then what is the use of staying in this relationship? This will hurt both of us. I don't want to hurt myself daily. It pinched here when I heard someone proposing to you and you were quiet ", Shivaay said while pointing towards his heart. A teardrop fell from his eye remembering what he saw a while ago. He is relaxed that Anika tore divorce papers as even he was not ready for divorce, even he want to stay with her

"I am sorry, that time I became numb seeing you. I...", Anika tried explaining when Shivaay interrupted her in middle

"Go from here", Shivaay said and turned aside to wipe his tears without showing her but Anika saw him wiping his tears and held his shoulder

"Let me explain. Please Shivaay don't break this relationship ", Anika said with tears holding his arms tightly

"Why should I keep this forced relationship? To keep reminding you and me about my mistake? When you don't like me then why should I keep this relationship?", Shivaay asked in a low voice as he don't have any energy to fight with her, whenever he is angry he has the energy to kill anyone and burn everything but today he is feeling that his body is very weak to fight.

"No it's not true,  I like you Shivaay and I want to stay with you ", Anika said with tears

"Don't you dare! Till now I was decent because you are my family but I will lose my temper if you said this again. Stop playing with my feelings ", Shivaay said angrily and pushed her as he don't believe that she can like him. How can she like him when they were not living like a happily married couple? If thier understanding level is zero then how can they share mutual feelings?

"I am not doing that. I can never play with your feelings", Anika said, she flinched in fear when Shivaay pushed her but she held the table in time to save herself and replied with confidence by looking into his eyes. Shivaay felt bad for pushing her and walked away because he knows in anger he always loses his temper. He doesn't know if what Anika said is a truth or a lie just to save this relationship but this meant the world to him. He is scared what if all these feelings were fake? He can't believe that a girl like Anika who used to hate him can start liking him.

😅😅 I'm tired now. Regarding them so they both are wrong in their place for not having a conversation about this matter. Respect is most needed in a relationship, and one should understand that this relationship needs patience. Chanda should give time for Shivaay and Anika to understand each other as making new relationship work is not easy.
