In morning

Shivaay woke up and looked toward the couch and found her sleeping there. He didn't like this as now they accepted each other why she is staying away? He went toward her side and tried waking her up by calling her name but Anika didn't react so he picked up a glass of water and splashed it on her face. Anika woke up with a jerk screaming "are you mad?",

"You were not waking up so...", Shivaay said and pointed toward an empty glass.

"Is this the only way left for you? Why can't you let me live in peace for some time?", Anika said irritatedly and checked if there is another glass of water or jug but unluckily there was none

"This was a prank. My intention was not to hurt you", Shivaay said trying hard to control his laughter after seeing her irritated face. He hides his smile by covering his face with his hand

"I will say the same after throwing you inside the pool", Anika said angrily

"Don't you dare", Shivaay warned

"I am very daring You can test me ", Anika said angrily and cleaned her face using a dupatta

"I know that. There is no need to take the test to see how daring you are ", Shivaay said

"This should not happen again otherwise next time I will throw you inside the pool", Anika warned him angrily

"Ok ", Shivaay said and went towards the cupboard and pulled out one towel for her. He sat near her and started to clean her wet neck. Anika shivered under his touch and held the towel from his hand

"I will do it. I already cleaned my face with my dupatta", Anika said and looked aside as she can't look in his eyes right now. His eyes are melting her anger and she doesn't want to fall for him.

"Go and change otherwise you will fall sick ", Shivaay said and patted her hand Softly.

"So what?", Anika argued. She liked his care but she don't want to make him her habit. She is scared to fall in love, she can't trust Shivaay in this case because of his nature. Most of the time his actions prove to her that one day their relationship might end so she wants to keep herself strong to leave this house whenever needed.

"Go, Anika. Please ", Shivaay said and stood up as he don't want to fight before taking her with him.

"Ohh bete ki. You pleased me just for a small thing ", Anika asked and clapped her hands as she is impressed hearing the word please for her that too for a little matter

"If you are done overreacting then go I will be waiting for you downstairs. ", Shivaay said and left from there, when he heard a door locking sound he came back and stood in front of the mirror. He decided to make efforts to make a few things normal between them. He knows change is a slow process but he needs to initiate it as he has done many mistakes in past. He wants to take her on a date, their first date and he is very excited about it.

He purchased a new wine-coloured suit for him yesterday and a gown for Anika. He already kept it inside the bathroom for her. He sprayed perfume and started to set his hair while humming a song. He is happy today, he laughed remembering Anika's irritated face a while ago. He loved teasing her and irritating her.

"Why he is going to wait for me? What is going on in his mind? Huff, I will see whatever it is ( jo bhi ho dekha jyega)", Anika thought and noticed one wine-coloured gown for her. She read a note

Wear it for today. I am waiting. Hope you like this gown and are comfortable wearing it. If not then don't wear it, I will understand that you were uncomfortable wearing it ~ Shivaay

Anika blushed reading it, she stared dress for some time as this gown is very pretty. She liked it and is comfortable but how she will go out in this dress? What family members will think? She read his note again and then decided to wear it otherwise he will think that she was uncomfortable.

"Good morning bhabhi", Omkara and Rudra greeted together

"Good morning Omru", Anika greeted them back with a smile

"Are you going out bhabhi? You are looking gorgeous", Rudra complimented Anika. Anika blushed hearing it and was about to reply yes but Shivaay answered her

"I and Anika are going out today ", Shivaay replied

"Cancel it because I want you to meet my college friends. I have told them about you many times so they want to meet you ", Rudra said to Anika

"Did you tell them about our marriage too? Did you referred her as bhabhi? ", Shivaay asked

"No I used di word because I told them she is single ", Rudra said

"What? Are you mad?", Shivaay shouted

"What do you mean by that? If I can't tell others that I'm married then obviously I am bachelor for them right?", Anika said stating the fact

"No either call yourself engaged or tell them that you have a boyfriend ", Shivaay said

"Why? Isn't it my wish? What to do I don't look like married hana Rudra?", asked Anika

"Yes bhabhi you look very young", Rudra said and clicked Anika's picture

"Yes a girl who is the crush of every boy", Om supported him as he guessed that Shivaay is getting jealous. Also, He and Rudra can never leave any chance to tease Shivaay.

"Just shut up. She is nobody's crush. Nobody likes her and nobody wants to make her his", Shivaay said angrily

"Why?", Asked Anika raising her eyebrows

"Because you are...", Shivaay said but stopped in the middle as he is not sure about his feelings and can't tell her anything

"I'm?", Anika asked

"My wife. Nobody has the right to touch you ", Shivaay said and dragged her out of the mansion and drove toward the restaurant

"What would you like to order?", Shivaay asked when they settled themselves in their respective seats.

"Noodles and you?", Anika asked

"Don't order green vegetables otherwise I will not eat anything with you ", Anika added

"Fine then I will have dosa", Shivaay said

"Mam what would you like to order", asked the waiter from Anika

"Am I invisible?", Shivaay thought being irritated. His eyes are struck at her beautiful face and body. She is looking very beautiful today and he wants to tell her the same but he doesn't know how he will do that. He checked his surroundings to see if anyone is looking at her or not.

"One plate of dosa and one full plate of noodles", Anika gave an order and noticed Shivaay looking here and there

"W... What happened to you? Are you searching for something?", Anika asked. Shivaay looked at her and shooked his head. He looked at the table and noticed Anika's hand and their engagement ring. She is the first one whom he started to like, he held her hand and slowly intertwined their fingers together. Anika looked at him and asked "What happened?",

"Can't I hold your hand?", Shivaay asked

"You can but there must be a reason", Anika said. She started taking long breaths as his touch is making her go weak.

"Why he is holding her hand?", Shivaay asked while pointing toward one couple who were eating with their intertwined fingers

"Because they look like lovers but we aren't. See how they are looking at each other ", Anika said

"Why we are here?", Shivaay asked

"That you should know. You are asking as you told me why we are here", Anika said. Shivaay took a long breath to calm himself and moved his chair near her's and intertwined their fingers again. He then rubbed his thumb on thier engagement ring and placed a kiss over there. Anika shivered with his touch and looked here and there to see if someone is watching them or not

"Now think why we are here?", Shivaay asked

"Don't know. Shivaay leave my hand people are watching us ", Anika said and tried removing her hand but Shivaay didn't let her instead he tightened his hold on her hand.

"For a date Anika ", Shivaay said

"But in movies dates are fancy with flowers and soft music but here nothing is romantic ", Anika said and closed her eyes tightly realising what she said by mistake.

"Romantic? Do you want romance?", Shivaay teased her and stepped close to her but Anika pushed him and shouted "No"

"No. I said that in flow. Don't take it seriously please I was just telling you what I watched in movies ", Anika said and started to sweat as she was nervous when Shivaay came close to her. Anika looked here and there to avoid embarrassment because of the words she used.

"You are funny. I was joking Anika ", Shivaay said and pulled her cheeks

"It was not bad but the worst joke", Anika said and slapped his palms

"Haha so sorry ", Shivaay said and giggled watching her red face. He is enjoying teasing her and enjoying seeing her like this. He asked forgiveness first and then continued his line to tease her more

"To break your fake fantasy regarding the date. Here we are for dinner and we can call it a date", Shivaay said, Anika glared at him as she is irritated now. She is already embarrassed and he is embarrassing her more with his words
