I felt it when Paisley left the pack's boundary. There are going to be lots of questions about that later on.

"I am sorry Kade. I didn't think she would take this in such a way. I feel ashamed," Alpha Xander said.
"You don't have to apologize on your daughter's behalf Xander. I hope our treaty is still in effect,"I said.
"Of course,"Xander said.

I could see the relief on his face that our partnership hadn't ended. After that Alpha Xander was gone probably looking for his daughter. I then turned to look at Zoey to see her gone. Where was she? Walking out of my office I went to her room. Only to see her coming down dressed up.

"Where are you going?" I asked, stopping her.
"Out," Zoey said.
"Where?" I asked.
"None of your business!" She exclaimed.

Damien bristled inside me at the slight disrespect but then started purring. I tell you he's bi-polar!

"You are not going anywhere," I said
"You can't force me," Zoey said.
"I am not forcing you. I am ordering you," I growled.
"I do not belong to you,"she scoffed.
"You live in my pack and I am the Alpha. Thus technically you belong to me," I glared intensely.
"I will come and go whenever I please," she said.

I suddenly pushed her against the wall my face mere inches from hers. Her soft calming scent heightened my senses.

"You will obey me because you belong to me," I said.

Why wasn't she listening to me? If she remembered correctly I saved her from her previous pack who treated her like an omega.

"And if I don't?" Zoey asked, looking at me.
"You wouldn't like what I would do to you!" I growled.
"Oh and what would that be?" She asked.

I leaned forward slightly and smirked as Zoey's eyes widened. Without letting her adjust I skimmed my nose against her neck in an up and down movement. Her honey scent tickled my nose making me growl in appreciation.

After that I kissed along her jaw and stopped just below her lips. Zoey bit her bottom lip making me growl. I pushed her flush against me and finally kissed her. Racking my hands through her silky black hair I growled appreciatively as she hesitantly kissed me.

Picking her up with ease I made my way to my room glad that as little as possible people lived in this pack house. I didn't stopped kissing her as I closed the door to my room with my foot. We stopped only to take a breather.

Zoey's face was flushed and she was panting hard. What was it about this girl that had me weak in the knees? I am an Alpha for god's sake! I don't get weak! Especially not by some mere girl. And especially not by a girl who had been an omega!

My thoughts were interrupted as I once again claimed Zoey's lips. Damn! I could kiss them all day! Zoey kissed me back this time but with boldness. Her hands fisted in my hair as I made my way towards the bed. This girl drove me wild. She made me feel things no one made me feel.

Both of us fell on the soft bed and I paused in my manistrations to look at Zoey again. Her green eyes were misty and her hair were sprayed over my pillow making her look like an angel. My angel. Mine.

But over moment was destroyed as a howl tore through the air. Not just any howl but a war howl. The lust inside me vanished as I jumped up and left the room looking for whoever would dare chalenge me. All my pack members came out of their rooms and whatever work they were doing and stood beside me. A few seconds later Chris came in.

"Were we at war against someone?" I asked.
"Not that I know of," Chris said.
"Everybody ready?" I asked.

I heard everybody say yes Alpha and nodded satisfied at their answer. Whoever it was had not breached the territory yet.

"Let's hit the border," I said.
"Kade wait!"

I turned around to see Julia come flying down.

"It's a war is it?" Julia asked, her eyes wide.
"Yes and before you say anything no you are not coming," I growled.

I hugged her and breathed in her scent. My eyes opened and looked behind Julia to see Zoey standing on the stairs. Our eyes met but I couldn't detect anything. I didn't even know what I was looking for. I pulled apart from the hug and turned to my men.

"Let's go," I said, gruffly.

We made our way outside just as a breach in the territory was heard. My fur bristled with annoyance and a loud snarl of my own slipped past my lips.

"You know what to do," I said.
"Kill first. Ask questions later," chris said.
"Chris you are with me," I said.

I shifted into Damien as we all shifted into our wolves. We then bounded towards the borders where a lot of wolf army were standing. They all seemed to be ready for this moment. I didn't see any leader of theirs and smirked internally.

Time for some blood.

Their wolf attacked first was immediately killed by my warriors. That officially started the fight. Loud growls and snarls filled the air as we attacked and killed. I saw a baby boy standing behind a tree and looking terrified at the scene in front of him. I mindlinked everyone not to harm him but take him as prisoner. I wasn't that heartless.

It had been a few hours since the fight had started. My men were getting exhausted. A few killings had gone down my side but not much. The young boy had been taken as prisoner and was in the cells right now.

I saw a wolf coming at me and immediately swiped my claw over his neck effectively killing him.

"Well well well. Look what we have here."

I turned around to look at the man who had caused such chaos. The man whom everybody assumed was dead. The man who was once the Alpha of this pack. My pack. The man who had my highest regards and respect up until now. The man who killed my mother. The man who gave birth to me and Julia.

My father.
