Andréa stared off at the hug moss covered walls, her food untouched in front of her. Her voice spoke back to her in her head as she tried to think of her dreams. She forgot them all and the only thing that remained of them was the fact she remembered she had one that was really important to her.

Chuck grew concerned when he noticed Andréa groan and rub her head. "You okay?"

Andréa turned her head and gave the younger boy a small smile. "Yes Chuckie. Just- want to get out of here."

"Have you ever thought... maybe we are better off in here?" He asked curiously. "Like what if this is all better then the outside world?"

"What I think is that none of us have memories of the outside world and I'm gonna find a way to get answers as to why that is."

Andréa walked to the door to the glade and looked down in them. A small ticking noise caught her attention and she narrowed her eyes to look for what was making the noise.

A tiny metal bug scurried up the side of a wall near Andréa and stared at her. She furrowed her brows and stepped forward to touch it.

"What the shuck do you think you are doing greenie?" A voice asked as she was yanked back by the arm before she could touch it.

"Wha..." she breathed out as she glanced at the tall boy and then back to where the bug was but it was gone. "Huh?"

"Don't you know not to step foot in there?" He frowned deeply at her.

"Don't look at me like that." She frowned back. "I just- wanted to look in?"

"I think you've looked long enough yeah? Why don't you go running back to your little lover." He tilted his head toward the gardens.

"I just want you to know. I don't like you." She told him. "Asshole." She muttered as she walked passed him.

"What's that assholes name?" Andréa asked nodding towards the boy gathering his food from Frypan.

Newt glanced back and saw the boy she was referring to. He smirked and looked back at her. "That's Gally. You'd do best to ignore him. He's just a bully."

"Oh I can tell. He wasn't to thrilled with me looking into the maze. He acted as if I was about to run in."

"Well he's rough around the edges but that's his way of showing he cares." He told her. "And please. Be careful around those walls?"

"I don't want to be Griever food thank you very much," she said. She looked over in the distance to see the opening she came from as she walked with her food. "When do you guys get next shipment?"

"Well usually we get two of them. One at the beginning of the month when a greenie comes with it and the second when we just get a restock of whatever."

She nodded her head in acknowledgment and continued to stare. "And going down it has never worked?"

"It doesn't move if you try." Newt confirmed. "Trust me Andréa we've tried everything and through the maze is the only way."

She pursed her lips and looked at Newt curiously. "And how far have they gotten?" She wondered.

"It's difficult to tell and I haven't been a part of those conversations. Last time I saw though we had mapped almost half the map. It changes though, at night."

"Optimistic about getting out of here," she said sarcastically.

"Don't be so down. There's a way. There's gotta be. We just have to wait on the runners."

Andréa sat on her bed staring out the window waiting for Newt to come back from Alby when she saw the same glowing bug as earlier that day. She furrowed her brows and walked out the cabin to find the bug staring. She stepped forward carefully but still it scurried away fast and she lost sight instantly.

"Dammit! What the hell are you..." she fell to the forest ground with her knees up to her face. "Why are we here..."
