Adrien's POV

"HEY!! GET AWAY FROM HER"

I turned around, eager to see who dares challenge me. I saw a red haired boy. Tomato head is his name. He weaved himself between classmates and walked right past me. He took Marinette by the hand. She had no reaction, she must be shocked from the kiss. I attempted to grab her out of his grasp but he shoved me. Shoved me!

I had to do something. Marinette can not be fooled by any of his bribery. Overtime I take a step towards my princess he'll shove me. C'MON PRINCESS! PLEASE HAVE SOME KIND OF REACTION!

"Do you even know who I am?"

"Yes, you are tomato head. Now get away from my future WIFE!!" I yelled. Everyone just stared, even the teacher!

"NEVER!!"

"WHY NOT??" I questioned.

"I won't because I'M the love of her life! The one who makes HER happy! The ones she TRULY loves! The one, who YOU are not!" He snapped back at me.

"WHATEVER! You are NOT the one who is to MARRY her! She is NOT a doll! She is a HUMAN! She can do whatever SHE pleases!"

(Meaning she doesn't have to marry you?!? LOOPHOLE FOUND!!)

Tomato head pushed Marinette aside, and put his face close to mine. As if it would intimidate me! 

Out of the blue, Mari stamped her foot and yelled:

"EVERYBODY STOP!!! YOU TWO, STOP IT! NATHANIEL, I AM GOING TO MARRY ADRIEN WEATHER YOU LIKE IT OR NOT! YOU CAN'T TELL ME WHAT TO DO! I'M ADRIEN'S FIANCE AND I DON'T GIVE A FLYING FRITTATA IF ANYONE THINKS IT'S UNFAIR! ADRIEN, JUST BECAUSE I AM TO MARRY YOU DOESN'T MEAN YOU GET TO FLAUNT IT ALL OVER PARIS! I'M SORRY NATH but, that's what it is.." 

I  was kinda broken. She said in the manner that she'd rather not marry me. Which is fair enough of her part, I understand but that really hurts me.

"Mari. I'm sorry for being blind..."

"It's ok Nath I-"

"SORRY FOR BEING BLIND ENOUGH TO NOT SEE THE FACT YOU WON'T FIGHT FOR OUR LOVE!"

"NATHANIEL?!!" She shouted back.

He ran off, Mari tried but Alya held her back, telling her that he wasn't worth it. After a few seconds, Mari freed herself from Alya's grasp and ran off too, though I doubt it was to find that tomato head. As she pulled the door aside, I could see tears streaming down her face.

Needless to say I felt really bad and so I went after her, but instead of following her, I ran into a dead end. I opened up my jacket pocket to reveal Plagg eating some camembert. I take it from him to get his attention.

"HEY!! I was eating that!" He said, I could tell he was annoyed.

"Yeah Yeah Plagg, but my Princess is upset, and I think Chat Noir would be better than Adrien right now.." I protested

"Kid, no. Let her take a minute to process everything and breathe. She has a lot going on" 

I didn't want to leave her alone but I knew deep down that Plagg was right. I then heard someone running down the hall, shouting my name. I told Plagg to hide and I stepped out into the open.

I was greeted by the boy I've seen Marinette and Alya hang out with.

"Hi! I'm Nino, so you must be the lucky guy, Adrien Agreste."

I nodded.

"Ok, I have something to tell you but I rather do it somewhere private ok?"

"Your not gonna kill me or anything right?" I asked jokingly

He laughed and we started walking off, like old friends.

Nathaniel's POV

I ran all the way to the park, I was so angry. I began to do what I always do. I began drawing. As I drew, my only thought was how I should kill Agreste. I looked down and saw a drawing of me strangling Adrien, like Homer Simpson to Bart. How am I gonna save Mari from that monster. I know she won't fight for us, but that's because she is too kind. I WILL ASK HER TO MARRY ME! No... that will never work, it's too soon...

Marinette's POV

I shouldn't have yelled. I got too upset by Nath's reaction. Did he still love me? I couldn't bear even thinking about it all. So now I'm crying in the corner of the girl's changing room. I sobbed for a good 2 minutes before hearing people violently screaming. I already knew what was wrong. There was an Akuma. 

"TIKKI, SPOTS ON!"

I transformed and I had to follow the screams to the park. I saw Adrien, screaming out 'MARINETTE!' and I locked eyes with him for a second. I then SPOT Evillustrator. (I SUCK AT PUNS)

"Well well well, look who it is, Ladybug, hero of the day"

He saw me look back at Adrien. He drew a box over him, trapping him.

"NATHANIEL LET HIM GO!"

"I'm not Nathaniel, I'm Evillustrator." 

"LET ME GO YOU IDIOT!" Adrien banged  on the glass.

" NEVER! After I kill you, Marinette, my love, shall love me again!"

I loved him now but, again, I can't be with him.

I quickly helped Adrien out while Evillustrator was supposedly lost in thought. 

I picked up Adrien and found a spot for him to hide.

"Do you know where Marinette is?!?" He asked.

"Yes, she is somewhere safe."

And before he could say anything else, I used my yo-yo and flung myself into the distance, eager to find Evillustrator's Akuma.

When I finally got to Evillustrator, he started to draw a little box, like the ones you get jewellery in. Whatever for? Chat then came running in as he always does. He stopped flirting with me months ago and I think it's because he likes Marinette, me, now. I'm kinda glad he moved on, but it feels weird. 

The moth symbol showed up on Evillustrator's face. Hawkmoth was trying to speak with him. 

When he had finished, we started to fight. About 10 minutes pass, then we win like we always do.  I hurriedly catch the Akuma. 

"Bye bye little butterfly.   MIRACULOUS LADYBUG!"

"POUND IT" Chat Noir and I said in unison.

Both of our miraculous's beeped.

"Bye Chat"

"Bye M'Lady"

I leave to go home, I still couldn't go back to school. I retransformed and collapsed on my bed. I then hear a knock on my window. OH MY GOD. I got up and saw Chat Noir looking back at me. He opened the window and welcomed himself in. 

He didn't say anything. He walked straight up to me and hugged me. I didn't know what was going on.

"I'm glad your ok Princess" He whispered into me ear.

"Don't worry about Kitty, I'll always be ok" 

"That will always be true until you get hurt" He hugged tighter.

He stared into my eyes. I stared into his. I could see how he leaned closer and closer. He was about to kiss me. I kinda wanted to kiss back but we were disturbed by a knock on my trapdoor.

"HEY MARI! It's Alya! Can I come in?"

"In a minute! Chat you have to go, I'll see you later?"

"Ok Princess" He reassured me.

He left and I let Alya in.

"Hey gurl, just checking to see if you were ok."

"Yeah I'm fine"

At that moment, my phone vibrated.

"Who ya texting?"

"No one, it's from Nathaniel"

"Oh, what did he say?" Alya questioned

"He said he's sorry and he asked if you and I want to go to a costume party"

"WE SHOULD GURL!! Get our minds off of things"

"Ok!" I nodded. It sounded like fun!

"LET'S GET CHANGED!!" She yelled excitedly

"Wait! I think I have the perfect outfits! I made them a while ago!"

We got changed and walked to the party. On our way there, we scored looks from a lot of guys. We got there and almost everyone stared. Nino and Nath blushed, upon seeing us.

"H-hey Alya. Hi Marinette"

"Hey Nino, can you come with me real quick. We'll be right back ok gurl?"

"Ok" 

The pair of them left and Nath stepped towards me.

"You look outstanding tonight Mari" he said.

"Thanks?" I replied slowly

"Can you come with me to somewhere private?"

"I don't know Nath I-"

"Please?"

"Ugh fine"

We walked over to a small balcony then he got down on one knee.

"Marinette Dupain-Cheng. We have been dating for 2 years and I'm about to lose you. So I need to seal it now. Will you marry me?"

"I-I- Nath you know I still love you but I'm not marrying Adrien because I want to. I'm doing it because I need to. For my family." I gulped

"WE COULD RUN AWAY TOGETHER" He protested.

"Nath, no"

"But-"

"She said no!" someone shouted. It was Adrien.

"YOU AGAIN!!" Shouted Nath.

"Adrien, go home, I can handle this!" I yelled.

"What she said. But first, she's mine. OK ByE BYE" Screamed Nath.

"ADRIEN! How did you even know I was here?!?"

"Nino told me" He said coldly as he stared at Nath. "He's a cool guy"

Nath left. 

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?!?" We both yelled in unison.

"ME?!? WHAT WERE YOU DOING WITH HIM?!" Adrien said

"I-"

"Marineeette, you ugly stupid girl"
