Error and the Two Strings: Story Time

Yes, this IS a "Kubo and the The Two Strings" parody. Was it needed? Maybe. Should you watch it to get this? Yes. Is the movie criminally underrated? Absolutely. The part that matters is up there. Enjoy!

Error's pov

"If you must blink, do it now." I said, strumming my shamisen (the actual name of the instrument) that I bought from JapanTale to get their attention. The man I bought it from from their surface village while disguising myself as human with my strings didn't look Japanese, supporting a pair of glasses, white hair and an all knowing smile. When I told him I didn't need any strings, he smirked and said "You probably don't, with the way you are." before giving me the instrument. His smirk turned into a fond smile as he said "I'm sure you'll tell beautiful stories with it." I smiled back at the old man, checking on him from time to time. When I told him the truth at our third time meeting, he smiled and said "I knew it." I stared at him in shock as he gave me a wink. Sadly, he had died last year. I was now in JapanTale, doing as he requested under the same disguise.

People gathered around me, including the Sans of this AU. Monsters had gotten to the surface by now, and it wasn't the first or last time they would see me here. In the background, I saw Ink, Blue and Dream, looking curiously. Ink probably sensed me, Blue stopping them from attacking just in time as they could see me under my disguising strings. Different characters from different AUs appeared as well. I sighed, but ignored them as I continued my story.

"Pay careful attention to everything you see and hear, no matter how unusual it may seem. And please be warned. If you fidget, if you look away, if you forget any part of what I tell you, even for an instant,"I pointed my bachi to an unexpecting audience member  "...then our hero will surely perish." I looked at the three Star Sanses in the back as my speech ended. All of them, even Blue, looked taken aback by my words. I remembered that I hadn't practiced while Blue was around, being too busy taking care of the little guy. I have him the ghost of a smile as my my fingers returned to the enstrument. I then looked at Ink, dead in the eye sockets as I started to play once again, strings coming out of my fingers before detaching, making a figure of me as myself that moved to the music. "Error was the mighty god of destruction, but he was forced, his will taken away from him, his past destroyed and his possible friends turned to his enemies by the heartless goddess Fate. As some may recall, Error and his allies were on a mission to destroy copies of AUs so that the multiverse doesn't collapse. His group of allies were the only ones in the multiverse like himself, willing and capable enough to help. They consisted of 5 skeletons. First!" I pointed my bachi to the audience.  An enthusiastic man called out, pushing himself to the front. "Nightmare, the guardian fallen!" My strings made a figure of him and it fell next to mine, confirming his answer as the crowd cheered. Dream seemed a bit shaken at the description. I ignored him once again, turning towards a little girl, kneeling next to her. "The second!" She fidgeted as she said "Dust, the judge dereng- der-" her father kneeled next to her, saying "Deranged" "DERENGACED!" She piped up in joy. I made a figure of him, confirming her as the audience cheered once again, giggeling slightly. "The third!" I pointed at the Sans of the AU. He smiled at the inclusion before saying "horror, the sentry starved." The crowd cheered once again as I made his figure in confirmation. I did a little turn as I made it land, ending up in front of the Papyrus of the AU. "The fourth!" I asked him, making Sans smile softly once again. "KILLER, THE ASSASSIN MISGUIDED!" He said in his usual loud manner. I smiled as I made his figure, confirming him as the crowd cheered for the tall skeleton. I then turned slowly, looking over the crowd. "And the fifth, the one found in the emphtyness of his world!" an old woman I had talked to before starting spoke up. I turned to her. She said "Cross, the royal guard left behind!" She shouted. The crowd cheered on last time as I made his figure. I suddenly realised that Robot Sans had been recording this whole time. I let him be, continuing my story. About time people found out. "These 6 allies helped each other through thick and thin, each with their own, forced missions. But Fate had returned to strike once more, not letting them stop the creator that was her favourite child. Even though she knew he would overfill the multiverse if not stopped, she set the Star Sanses upon them!" I made figures of the Star Sanses as people watched, some looking at the trio at the back. I told of our many battles, victories and losses alike. I saw Ink leave, only to feel a pang at my soul.

I had to go.

"And they still fight to this day." I said, packings my things in a frenzy. "Oh come on! People like an ending!" The man that had given the first answer said. "Like I said, it didn't end yet!" I shouted back, running to the woods to shed my disguise. I then jumped through a portal to the new AU, only to see it emphty. Ink was on the ground, sitting in front of me as he sobbed. A blue tipped vile sat on the ground next to him, emphty. "Oh no..." I mumbled, realizing what he did. I slowly walked up to him, sitting next to him as I hugged him, hardly controlling my haphephobia to comfort him.  He gasped at my touch, setting himself free from my grasp to look at me. "Why d-do you c-care?" He asked, still sobbing all the way. I sighed, putting my hand on his shoulder. "I always did. I just-" I was suddenly cut off by a headache as the Voices screamed. "WHY WOULD HE CARE? ALL YOU EVER DID WAS HURT HIM!" and more. I screamed, holding my head, clawing my skull. I don't remember it, but Ink told me that I was mumbling "Stop it." Over and over again until he hugged me, crying still. This brought me back to reality as I pet his head, letting him cry on my lap. "I just wasn't allowed to show it." I finished, waiting out the effects of the blue vile. When we were done, we smiled at each other, me destroying this empty AU as we went back to JapanTale. I announced that the story would end tomorrow with a big reveal. The next day, everyone from the story came to take a bow. I looked everyone around me, smiling.

It was finally over.
