Dioptase and Lapis spent a few more moments together before Dioptase finally decided to split. Lapis was the first to break the silence.

"How'd you'd first fuse?" Lapis asked, she couldn't help but be curious at how those two of all gems Labradorite and Peridot fused.

"It was a little unconventional." Peridot said, sitting in Labradorite's lap. "When Garnet asked Peridot to fuse, she went to me and I asked her if she wanted to fuse." Labradorite sums up simply.

"Me and Labby decided we liked it and continued to fuse, although we stopped fusing at the barn so you would feel comfortable, Lapis." Peridot said.

"But Dioptase has a mind of her own sometimes." Labradorite smiled gently, turning to look at Peridot in her hold.

Suddenly the the red eye came back and landed. It seemed like Amethyst kept up her disguise. Labradorite thought as Peridot got up and went outside with Lapis.

Labradorite got up as soon as Peridot got up from her lap to see the surprisingly silent commotion.

Labradorite saw the crystal gems, but they were offly grim there were no Rubies in sight so Labradorite thinks they beat the Rubies and ran off with their ship. But they seemed so upset, the crystal gems probably didn't want to talk about it.

"Hey guys! Did you win?" Labradorite asked, but the answer was pretty obvious. Amethyst was the first to speak up.

"Yeah dude, you don't mind us keeping this here right?" Amethyst asked gesturing to the red ship behind them.

"It's no problem, right Labby, Lapis?" Peridot took initiative turning to Labradorite for approval. Labradorite nodded and Lapis shrugged showing she didn't really care.

The crystal gems nodded to the trio and then they left as the sun set. "That was nice, wasn't it?" Peridot smiled walking back to Labradorite and Lapis.

"Sure." Lapis said simply before stretching. "I'm about to go to sleep, see you in the morning." Lapis said simply as she walks back in the barn.

"Okay! See you in the morning, Lapis!" Peridot smiled before looking at Labradorite. "Come on, Labby! We don't want to be late!" Peridot said, pulling Labradorite somewhere else.

Time flew by and now Labradorite and Peridot were back at the barn, watching the sun rise high in the sky Peridot in Labradorite's arms.

"Hey Labradorite! Peridot wanna join me and the crystal gems for a mission?" Steven asked, he seemed to be happier than yesterday, which was good.

"I think this will sharpen our skills, why not, Steven." Peridot said, getting out of Labradorite hug to walk over to Steven.

"Where are the others?" Peridot asked as Labradorite got up walking over to the two. "Oh they're already there, I just wanted to invite you guys!" Steven said chipper.

"Okay! Come on Labby, Steven!" Peridot said pulling both gems and a half to the warp pad near the barn. Steven warped Peridot and Labradorite to the Beta Kindergarten.

"Are we getting the other Corrupted Gems from this place?" Peridot asked, almost rolling her eyes as Steven guided both Peridot and Labradorite to where the gems were.

  "Yes, how'd you know?" Steven asked. "Labby told me." Peridot said before Labradorite piped up.

"There is much less unknown gem activity here, you've been doing a good job clearing this place so far." Labradorite smiled kindly at Steven who chuckled and thanked her.

Steven stopped at a hole with bars still lodged in it entrance. "Here's another one!" Steven called out.

"Got it, Steven!" Garnet gave a thumbs up to the boy already at another hole with Pearl and Amethyst. Looks like they found the rest of the crystal gems.

"Ready? Go!" Garnet, Pearl, and Amethyst went into the hole at the same time jumping the corrupted Gem and poofing it easily. Garnet bubbled it, walking out of the hole as Pearl looked back, at the erie hole.

"It's a little disturbing that Jasper was just keeping these corrupted gems in cages." Pearl said, mildly unnerved. "Isn't that what we're doing?" Amethyst asked, slightly confused at what the difference was.

"That's different." Pearl said, looking away from the hole. "They are cared for in the spaces of the bubble." Garnet speaks up making all eyes go on her.

"As long as they're bubbled, they can't hurt anyone and they won't suffer" Garnet sends the bubble to the bubble room.

"It's what Rose would have wanted." Garnet said looking at Steven, who was accompanied with Peridot and Labradorite as he stuck his head in the bars of the hole, seemingly talking with the corrupted Gem.

"I guess this is the last of them." Steven said as the corrupted Gem hissed at Steven it's tongue out as it tried to run up the wall but landed on it's back, making Peridot laugh.

"I can't believe these dumb things used to be gems!" Peridot laughed, making Labradorite hold her tongue and look away from Steven who gave her a look (Like, 'this yo girl?').

Garnet came up to the made up enclosure making the three smaller gems step back. "Pearl. Amethyst. Get ready, this one is flighty." Garnet said with her gauntlets on.

"Are corrupted gems not like this one homeworld?" Steven asked, both Peridot and Labradorite perked up at the question.

"Last I've been there, there was no such thing as corrupted gems. Or forced fusions for that matter but here I am!" Labradorite laughed before going quiet, leaving the explanation to be up to Peridot.

"We don't have anything like this on Homeworld." Peridot said, looking up at Garnet as she stepped closer to the homemade enclosure, gripping at the bar in the middle.

"Here we go." Garnet said, taking off the bar and immediately being trampled. "Garnet!" Steven yelled as the Corrupted Gem sped off at the speed of light.

Amethyst grabbed the Gem with her whip but the Corrupted get was too fast and strong and dragged Amethyst as fast. Pearl took her spear and started blasting at the corrupted Gem.

The Gem turned around and jumped up a wall, making Amethyst, who was still being dragged by the thing, hit Pearl into the hole as she fell in too.

Seeing as all the crystal gems were defeated, the Corrupted Gem threw it tongue up in victory and run away, making Peridot laugh more as the gems recover.

"That was terrible!" Peridot criticized, smiling widly as if she saw the funniest comedy. "This is harder than it looks you know!" Pearl said, fuming with Amethystby her side.

"How can you all be Outsmarted by that thing!?" Peridot asked as if she was genuinely curious, Pearl took the bait. "Well first, it ran over Garnet, and then Amethyst tried to use her-" Pearl's play by play was cut off by Garnet nudging her.

"Uhh we don't need the play by play. Mistakes happen, even when you can see the future." Garnet says, her visors shining in the sun.

"Yeah Peridot. Let's see you do better." Amethyst said taking a look at Peridot before looking at Labradorite, who immediately looked away, obviously embarrassed at Peridot running her mouth.

"Well I saved all your butts from Jasper." Peridot said, immediately getting a nudge from Labradorite. "With the help of Labby." Peridot quickly added.

"I suppose I could help you here too." Peridot said carelessly. "Feel free." Garnet said, giving Peridot full leverage to do what she wished, making Peridot smirk.

"This would be the best time so show off my metal powers!" Peridot smirked, moving off to find a piece of shape metal.

"Then our work here is done." Steven immediately sweated. "Uhm I'm uhh." Steven couldn't get his words out as Labradorite went to follow Peridot, giving a deep sigh.

"Are you seriously going to help her?" Amethyst asked, crossing her arms. "I mean, Labradorite's doing it!" Steven pointed out. "Yeah, but they're practically dating, they do everything together!" Amethyst rolled her eyes.

"But she's all alone out here with no idea what she's doing." Steven said, Pearl brushed him off. "Oh Peridot's got Labradorite, she'll be fine." Pearl said. "I meant the monster." Steven clarified, making Garnet chuckle.

"Okay. Take as long as you need." Garnet said, leaving, making Pearl and Amethyst follow her. "Uh, Garnet, are you sure?" Pearl asked as Steven looked over at the two gems.

"Wait!" Steven sped off to the two, Peridot looked at him with a glare. "Did the others ask you to bring me back?" Peridot said, still glaring at the boy, who was catching his breath.

"No! I came to help." Steven smiled, "it usually takes all of us to capture a corrupted Gem." Steven informs as Labradorite looked at Steven.

"That's because you try to outbrute it! We're going to outsmart it!" Peridot smiles, Labradorite sighed heavily again, this was going to be a long day wasn't it?
