Suddenly the TV in the back of the barn cut on, replaying a scene from Camp Pining Hearts repeating the words 'I just feel trapped'.

"Is this one about...the thousands of years you spent trapped in the mirror?" Steven asked worried for the taller of the blue gems. "No. I just really like that show." Lapis said, letting Steven relax.

Everyone went silent as Labradorite wheeled her project away from view. "Oh Amethyst! You'll love this one!" Peridot said, already walking away unaware of the eye roll Amethyst gave.

Peridot presented a collection of toilets with a gleeful "check it out!" As Steven and Amethyst walked up infront of the toilets. "They're toilets..?" Amethyst squinted.

"Right!" Peridot laughed, "what will I think of next!?" Peridot said inbetween laughs before composing herself.

"This represents the time me and Labradorite spent imprisoned in your bathroom, Steven." Steven looked away as Amethyst looked over at Steven, both of them slightly unnerved.

"I call it; 'occupied'. It's a collaborative piece!" Peridot smiled, giving a thumbs up to Lapis, who returned it. 

Lapis began to use her water powers to create visuals coming from the toilet, amazing Steven. "It's so amazung!" Steven said breathless, Amethyst just looked unnerved at the whole thing. "I don't get it." Amethyst simply said.

"What's there to get? It's water! Shooting out of toilets!" Steven said amazed by the display. "You see it at home." Amethyst said, returning her gaze to the two who finally stopped their water show.

"Alright, I see you're not impressed. But this- hold on!" Peridot said racing off into another direction of the barn.

"This! This is all we're waiting for!" Peridot said, gathering a bunch of metal instruments. "She's been working hard on this one." Labradorite smiled, finally standing beside Steven, eyeing Peridot kindly.

"With the power of my metal abilities, I will impress the shirts right off of you!" Peridot says cheerful, finally gathering her instruments and levitating them in the air with a small, "ta da!"

"It's a one gem metal band!" Peridot says before attempting to play all the instruments at once. Then immediately dropping them all after a second. "Welp, that's as far as I practiced that!" Peridot smiled.

After a small silence, Labradorite breaks it with clapping, then Lapis follows, snorting before breaking into a full laughter, then Steven laughs, but Amethyst doesn't.

It was weird, Amethyst would usually be the first one laughing at Peridot's antics. Perhaps something happened. Lapis walks up to Peirdot who was dimmly scratching at her head.

"Why don't you try one thing at a time?" Lapis suggests, making Peridot look up at Lapis. "Because we have guests, Lapis!" Peridot says. "Guests who must be impressed!" Peridot whispered. Lapis hummed and picked up a tambourine.

Lapis shook the tambourine resting her hand on it before looking over at Peridot. "Maybe we can try it together?" Labradorite took this as her cue and walked up to the two and picked up the harmonica blowing through it to create a small rhythm.

Peridot smiled and levitated a triangle tapping it frequently. "Isn't this great?" Steven smiled sitting down with Amethyst infront of the trio having fun with the instruments at their disposal.

Amethyst blew her hair, bearly out of her face. "No." She said plainly, making Steven frown. "But look at all this cool stuff they're doing." Steven gesturing to the trio having a fun time.

"This is all nothing! They're out here playing with garbage." Amethyst snapped, making Steven's frown deepen. "But you love playing with garbage." Steven frowns.

"Not anymore! Who has time for any of that when Jasper is out there!" Amethyst snapped, slamming her hand against the wood floors.

Jasper's name was enough to freeze the barn into silence. The trio stopped playing with their instruments and stared at Amethyst unnerved at the name that was yelled from her mouth.

Peridot and Labradorite dropped their instruments as Lapis stared with a slight apprehensive look. "Uh, Amethyst, we uh, try not to use the J word so loosely around here..." Peridot 'whispered to Amethyst, pointing to Lapis with her thumb, making both Lapis and Labradorite look at her.

Amethyst sighed and got up from her spot. "I'm gonna do something useful." Amethyst said, walking out of the barn. "Wow. Amethyst doesn't seem to understand Morps at all." Peridot frowned, walking next to Steven. "No. It's something else." Steven sighed.

"Amethyst found out...she's supposed to be just like Jasper." Steven frowned, making Peridot let out a confused noise. "Jasper took her down in a fight and now she's obsessed with getting a rematch to prove she's good enough." Steven explains. Peridot hums.

Outside of the barn, Amethyst was hitting cans, lined up on a pipe, with her whip. Amethyst went to strike another can until, Peridot held her arm.

"Amethyst, Ames, Big A." Peridot listed off Amethysts nicknames. "You are way better then Jasper!" Peridot complimented with a wink. "What." Amethyst said, irritation in her voice.

"Oh." Amethyst looked over to Steven whom approached the two, smiling nervously. "What did you tell her?" Amethyst asked Steven. "I uhhh...." Steven pressed his index fingers together, obviously very nervous.

"What are you even doing comparing yourself to her!?" Peridot asked, slinging her arm around Amethyst. " 'Oh Amethyst that's ridiculous'." Peridot gave voice to a tomato can she controlled with her metal powers.

"I should call you ridiculous-thyst." Peridot chuckled and tried to move the can off the pipe with her metal powers. Only to kick a pebble at the can making it fall to the ground, and then proceeded to look oblivious when Amethyst and Steven looked back at Peridot.

"I mean seriously, Amethyst and Jasper are two completely different quartzes." Peridot said taking the last can and moving toward a rusty bike, leaning on it.

"Sure you're both from Earth, but your kindergartens are radically different." Peridot said as she twirled the tuna can, earning a "What?" From Steven. "Hold- Hold on What!?" Steven asked, extremely confused.

"We're both... from Earth?" Amethyst asked, a huge revelation happening in her mind. "Well sure! Amethyst you're from the prime kindergarten, facet five. She's from the Beta kindergarten in facet nine!" Peridot explained, tossing the tuna can up into the air, only for it to come back down and hit her on the head with an audible 'thunk!'

"Have you seen that place!?" Peridot almost snorted. "No!" Amethyst yelled, emotion coming back into her voice, though a bit subtle.

"Oh, well maybe you should! So you can see how the other half was made." Peridot smirked before adding a "Poorly!" And bursting into laughter.

"No seriously, let's go. You're gonna get a kick out of this." Peridot snickered to herself. Suddenly a TV clicked on, showing the show Camp Pining Hearts.

Peridot looked over at the trunk in the barn to see Lapis and Labradorite sitting there and watching the show. "Uhm... just one second. I want to check and make sure Lapis and Labradorite are okay." Peridot said softly.

"Hey Lapis! Labby! Are you okay!?" Peridot yelled up to the two blue gems. Lapis blinked and looked down at Peridot.

"Yeah!" Lapis said while Labradorite nodded. "Are you sure!?" Peridot asked, making Lapis respond with a "Yeah." Again.

"I'm leaving, but I'll be back!" Peridot said, making Labradorite look back at Peridot. "Okay!" Lapis said.

"Do you need anything!?" "No." Lapis responded, turning to face Peridot. "What season is that!?" "Three!" Lapis turned to face the TV again. "Peridot, let's go." Steven reminded.

"Okay, yeah. Business time." Peridot said, taking the bow from her neck and yelled a "You know what to do with this!" Before throwing it to Lapis, only for the bow to fly over Lapis' head.

"Oh wait! I'm coming too!" Labradorite said, climbing down from the truck and joining the three. "Alright, come on!" Peridot said beckoning the three over to a warp pad. Once everyone was on, Peridot warped the four to the Beta kindergarten.

"Here we are, Jasper's origin."
