It's Labby's fusions!! Honestly, I think PhoebeMiller6 drew them better then me this is so pretty, but I digress, back to thy story! Bee out!]

"Find cute roommates in your area." Peridot's tablet spoke, Peridot continuously tapped the no button with her finger puppet. "I'm all set, thanks." Peridot responded. "That toy you win is really cool, Peridot." Steven tried to cheer Peridot up.

"You mean that Amethyst won with shape shifting." Peridot corrected. "Maybe they should call it shape shift land. Because it's a land where you go to shape shift." Peridot said

"What's wrong with shape shifting, bro?" Amethyst asked, looking over at Peridot. "You mean besides being an insult to your intended form?" Peridot sassed.

"Okay, what's really wrong with it?" Amethyst asked, putting the multiple corn dogs in her hand on the bench they were sitting on.

"I can't do it... at all..." Peridot admitted, keeping her eyes on the tablet. "Well... we can help you try!" Steven suggested, making Peridot look up at him. "What?"

"I didn't ever think I could use my powers either, but then the gems helped me out! We can help you too!" Steven smiled, Amethyst agreed, eating all the corn dogs in her hand at once.

"We'll give you the Shap-shifting lowdown." Amethyst said, her voice muffled by the corn dogs in her mouth. Amethyst stared for a while before nogging Peridot. "Shorty Squad style." Amethyst smiled, letting Peridot go.

None of the gems seemed to notice Labradorite not there with them.

The three were on the beach, the ocean water lapping up the sand as the shorty squad stood before it. Steven dimistrated by shape shifting his tongue to touch his elbow.

Amethyst doubled down and shape shifted her tongue to loop around and touch her elbow. Peridot tried, and failed to shape shift her tongue.

Steven and Amethyst crawled around Peridot in a circle, Amethyst shape shifting into a cat. Steven crawled up to Peridot and shape shifted his finger into a cat head, which yelled and Steven had to drown it in water.

Whilst Steven was drowning his finger cat, Peridot cheep'd: 'MAYBE THEY SHOULD CALL IT SHAPESHIFT LAND. BECAUSE IT'S A LAND WHERE YOU GO TO SHAPESHIFT. SO IT'S CALLED SHAPE SHIFTLAND.' and chuckled to herself, if only Labradorite were here to see this...

wait! No! Peridot's mad at Labradorite!

Amethyst jumped up and shape-shifted into a ball jumping into Steven's shape-shifted to be longer arms.

Steven slammed the Ball Amethyst to the group, making her bounce back up into Peridot's direction.

Peridot raised her hands to catch Amethyst, however Peridot got slammed in the face, making her fall to the floor. Amethyst rolled back to the fallen Peridot and shape-shifted back into herself.

"Okay... maybe we just have to activate it manually." Amethyst suggested before picking up Peridot's arms. "You grab her feet, I'll grab the arms." Amethyst said, Steven reluctantly obeyed.

"Ready? Pull!" The two pulled on Peridot's limbs in hopes to activate her nonexistent shape shifting powers.

"Is it working?" Steven asked as Peridot repeated the phrase "ow." Both of them ignored her. "I think so." Amethyst said.

"Pull harder!" Amethyst demanded, pulling twice as hard, making Peridot repeat the phrase "ow." More frequently and slightly louder.

"I think I just heard a crack." Steven told. "That's her powers opening, Steven!" Amethyst told like it was obvious. "Ow! Ow! Ow! Ow! Drop me now!" Peridot yelled, the two obeyed and dropped Peridot on the sand.

"This isn't going to work." Peridot said finally, her face still in the sand. "Maybe if we keep trying-" Steven was cut off by Peridot rising to her feet. "No. My lack of skill is an objective fact." Peridot said, walking closer to the water and sitting.

"I'm an Era two Peridot. I'm new. Resourcesare dwindling on homeworld. They can't make gems like they used to. That's why they gave Era two Peridots technological enhancements, because we don't have powers."

Peridot vented, looking off into the sun falling into the ocean. Amethyst stood there for a moment before walking infront of Peridot.

"Per, imma be really real with you for a sec." Amethyst warned, Peridot looked up at Amethyst instead of the setting sun.

"This whole time we've been here, you've just been focusing on what you can't do. Of course you're not having any fun." Amethyst proceeded to give Peridot a inspirational speech.

Peridot looked back at her tablet, cheerping something. Amethyst finished her speech and looked at Peridot, watching her gaze not falter from the tablet in her hands.

"I know you just heard me." Amethyst glared, Peridot's eyes narrowed as she continued to type 'CLODS' on her tablet.

"Stop playing with that thing." Amethyst demanded, Steven was slightly regretting giving Peridot that present.

  "Gimme that!" Amethyst said, trying to take the tablet. "No!" But Peridot's grip was iron strong. "You don't need it!" Amethyst pointed out, trying to pull the tablet from Peridot's surprisingly strong grip.

"You don't know that!" Peridot yelled, keeping her grip on the tablet strong. "Yes! I do!" Amethyst eventually overpowered Peridot and took the tablet, ready to throw it into the ocean.

"Wait! Wait! wait! wait! wait!" Amethyst ignored Peridot's calls and threw the tablet into the ocean.

"No! It's all that I am!" Peridot teared up, throwing her hands up towards the tablet, like she could stop it. "Peridot..." Peridot peaked her eyes open. She could! She could stop it, the tablet floated above the water.

"Metal powers!" Steven cheered starry eyed. "Do you know what this means!?" Steven said and began to list off the things Peridot could do with her new found Metal powers as Peridot floated her device into her arms with some work.

"I know what I'm gonna do." Peridot said, but before the three could make it back to FunLand, Labradorite came racing toward them, her hands folded behind her back and a large smile adorned on her face.

"Peridot! Peridot!" Labradorite yelled, racing up to the three, skidding to a stop infront of Peridot, who rolled her eyes with a sigh.

"Labradorite. Now is not the time. We are going back to funland to reclaim my prize." Peridot said, brushing Labradorite to the side.

"You won't need to do that anymore!" Labradorite's smile widening. "Give her a chance, Peridot." Steven frowned, pleading. Peridot sighed and turned back to Labradorite.

"What is it." Peridot crossed her arms. Labradorite smiled wider even if Peridot was reluctant. Labradorite revealed the alien plush from behind her back with a bright smile.

"See!" Labradorite brandished the plush, making Peridot's eyes glow. Peridot reached for the plush and held it in her hands, holding it tightly. "What... but how!?" Peridot asked. "Uhm, it took me a few tries, uhm forty six to be exact, I kinda had to shape shift to do it." Labradorite laughed nervously, rubbing her arm.

"Look! Labradorite did all this trouble to get you that prize, you can't be mad at her now!" Steven said as Peridot stared at Labradorite, who continued to itch at her arm. Peridot dropped the plush and took Labradorite's arm in her hands, making Labradorite hiss.

"Yesh, now you really can't be mad at Labby." Amethyst said, taking a glance at the discoloration of Labradorite's form. "What is it, Amethyst?" Steven asked worried.

Labradorite pulled her arm back and hid it behind her back, smiling softly at Steven. "I'm fine, Steven." Labradorite smiled.

"Labradorite. I... apologize with how I've been acting today." Peridot hung her head. Labradorite smiled softly and hugged the green gem. "It's fine, Peri."
