I am just really blown away at how people are really getting invested in the story and going as far as to taking time out of their day to- make fan art! Here I go kicking and stimming again!! But I'm really happy that I can make a kind of story that people want to make fan art of it, Once again @fictional_writing_15, thank you so much for this fan art, you have no idea how much this means to me and I'm really happy to have you. The sound of glass shattering and a horn blazing filled the barn. Peridot yelped at the abruptness of the glass shattering against her face.

"Sorry Madem Peri, but Perhaps that'll put some sense back into you..." Labradorite remarked, flicking the thing by the door handle, it clicked up and Labradorite opened the door.
The door fell and the horn suddenly stopped blaring. Labradorite just looked away, no use fixing it now.

  Labradorite picked the dazed Peridot up and out of the shattered window.  Labradorite brushed off any pieces of glass that stuck to Peridot's face as the green gem struggled to get her bearings. Peridot groaned before catching a glimpse of her robot she built. "Madem Peri?"

Peridot grabbed Labradorite's hand and ushered both of them inside. Peridot grabbed the controls and bursted through the barn. Peridot crackled while grabbing the broken door and walking to the group. "Free! Free!" Peridot did a little dance in her robot, making Labradorite pinch the bridge of her nose.

Peridot threw the truck door, making it land in the ground infront of the Crystal gems. "Fools!" Peridot smiled deviously. "Your invisible rotary shield was no match for me and Labradorite once she applied logic!" Peridot yelled down to the crystal gems.

The Crystal gems were immediately ticked off by Peridot's taunting and charged at the robot. They must've found the communication line. "Now I'm gonna do this right!" Peridot growled, taking the truck from the barn and throwing it at the Crystal gems, making them disperse.

The Pearl and The Amethyst were together both of them holding the communication line above their heads and their eyes shut.

Peridot immediately took this as a sign to grab it. "See? None of them, knows what their doing!" Peridot turned to Labradorite, who put her head in her hands, and made a dash for it.

Peridot, knowing their time was limited, tried to twist the communicator with her clawed robot hands as Labradorite looked behind to robot to see a purple helicopter with a face on it...

That must be the Amethyst, and where ever one Crystal gems goes, the others will follow. Especially with that fusion. Labradorite shivered and turned back to Peridot. "They're gaining up on us, Madem Peri." Labradorite said quietly. "I'm aware of that Labby!" Peridot strained, attempting to twist the communicator, more frantic before.

Suddenly, the helicopter from before appeared beside the running robot. "What's up Peri-snot?" The Amethyst snickered before turning to reveal the Crystal gems weapons hot and ready.

Labradorite backed up to the wall of the robot as Steven complimented on the Amethysts name calling.

Peridot freaked out as she was pulled backwards as Garnets Gauntlets were fired at the robot, making it spin out of control. The robot fell to the floor, dropping the communicator.

Peridot groaned lifting the robot and smiling to see the communicator a few feet away from her, only for her smile to fall as a spear dug into the earth and flicked the device away.

Peridot looked up from her robot to see the Amethyst shape shifting back to her normal form and yelling "dig pile!" With a wicked grin on her face.

The gems circled in on the robot and immediately started to attack it, much to Labradorite's anxiety. Peridot pulled Labradorite through a tube and out the other end where she immediately ran to get the communicator.

Suddenly Steven looked over to where Peridot was and yelled, "You're not getting away with it!" Jumping off the fusions back running full speed at Peridot.

Peridot grabbed the communicator but as soon as she did so, Steven caught up to her and hugged her out of balance.

"I trusted you!" He yelled as he clobbered Peridot, Labradorite freaked and tried to stop the fighting. "I spent all, that time bonding and hoping and caring about you!"

still slightly hazy from the glass, Peridot fell to the floor as Steven's weight, still gripping the communicator tightly in her hands.

"You don't get it, either!" Peridot growled still fighting her way out of Steven's iron grip. "This is your whole-" Peridot strained against Steven as he went to grab the communicator from Peridot's hands.

"Problem!" Peridot yelled, gripping the communicator tighter. "Your emotions rule out reason! I will do what has to be done!" Peridot strained, finally moving the diamond shaped communicator to have it fixed on a full yellow diamond, making it glow a fluorescent yellow.

Peridot giggled as Steven backed off her and ran back to to hide behind the fallen robot. Labradorite flew up into the air, she knew that the homeworld cameras usually had a limit to it's peripheral vision.

The screen showed a Pearl, a yellow Pearl, she had bright transparent sleeves and her gem on her chest. "This is the Yellow Diamond control room." The Pearl spoke before looking over Peridot. "Who authorized you to make this call?" The yellow Pearl asked, making Peridot shrink back.

"No one.." Peridot uttered before gaining the volume in her voice. "B-but it's an emergency!" Peridot yelped, standing straight again.

"That no excuse to use the direct Diamond communication channel!" The yellow Pearl glared. "Pearl?" The Yellow Pearl jumped at her name and turned to an unknown gem. "Yes, my Diamond?" The Pearl spoke, Peridot stood paralyzed. "Why is there someone on the diamond line?" The voice asked.

"I don't know! I was just about to tell her that-" the Pearl answered but was soon cut off by the same voice. "I'll take it from here." The voice said, grabbing the camera and lifting it to her face. Peridot gasped and straightened up doing the diamond salute.

"My diamond, Peridot reporting in!" Peridot saluted, only for Yellow Diamond to not pay attention to her asking, "which Peridot?" To Peridot's statement.

"F-facet-2f5l, cut-5xg, I'm sorry to contact you this way, but all other forms of communication have been destroyed and-" Peridot was cut off by Yellow diamond, putting her hand up at the screen.

"This says you're behind schedule on your mission to..." Yellow trials a screen appearing infront of her. "How is.. the earth?" Yellow Diamond asked, finally turning to the screen.
"It's...full of life!" Peridot wearily smiled, making Yellow roll her eyes.

"Organic life." Yellow snarled, sighing and turning back to the other screens. "And where is the Jasper I assigned you? And why aren't you calling from the ship?" Yellow questioned making Peridot lose her smile.

"The ship was destroyed.." Peridot uttered, keeping her gaze on Yellow Diamond. "By whom." Yellow Diamond gave Peridot a venomous side eye. "Peridot gave a glance to the hidden crystal gems behind the robot.

"It-it- it was destroyed by..." Peridot stuttered, looking behind her, catching a glimpse of Steven peaking out from the robot. Peridot looked up at Labradorite, who just shook her head. "No one!" Peridot said finally.

"There was...an accident...while we were landing." Peridot lied, holding herself with an anxiety written face. Yellow Diamond looked back at the screens.

"I'll inform your manager of you incompetence." Yellow diamond said, making Peridot shrink back. "And what is the status of the cluster?" Yellow asked.

"The Cluster will emerge shortly." Peridot said. "Good. We'll finally get some use out of that miserable planet." Yellow smirked. "Thank you for your report, Peridot." Yellow said, making Peridot smile at the screen. "They'll be a ship heading to your location to take you to your next mission." Peridot's smile fell.

"Wait!" Peridot called, making Yellow glare. "I- I wouldn't have called just to waste your time with a report!" Peridot said, much nervous then before.

"You already have." Yellow side eyes Peridot again. "No, I mean, the reason I've called, the real reason is...I believe we should terminate the cluster!" Peridot blurted making Yellow look at her again and ask, "why?"

"The organic ecosystem creates resources unique to this world. We can't sacrifice all that potential just for one geo-weapon!" Peridot says. "I'd like to tell you some plans I came up with to utilize the planet without disrupting the local-"

Peridot was cut off by Yellow snapping at her. "I've heard enough." Yellow snapped. "I don't care about potential and resources." Yellow growled. "What?" Peridot spoke taken back by the abruptness. "I want my cluster and I want that planet to die. Just make that happen."  Yellow Diamond snapped.

"...No!" Peridot yelled angrily. The yellow Pearl gasped and turned to Yellow Diamond, who looked pissed. "Are you questioning my authority?" Yellow growled, glaring daggers into Peridot's form.

"I'm questioning your objectivity, my Diamond." Peridot defended herself saluting the diamond. "Well!" The yellow Pearl spoke as Yellow Diamond got up from her chair. "You are out of line." Yellow growled.

"I just think-" Peridot could bearly get any words out before Yellow diamond took over again. "I'm not interested in the puny thoughts of a Peridot."

"But-" Peridot was once again cut off. "You have disrespected this channel and my time with your presence and you would do well to-"

Yellow Diamond was cut off by Peridot. "But-" Peridot didn't make it far in her sentence as Yellow cut her off again.

"Shut your mouth!" Peridot immediately closed her mouth.

"You have failed at every stage of this mission. Your only chance to redeem yourself is to obey this simple order! You are to leave the cluster to grow! It will tear apart the earth  and I will take immense satisfaction in erasing that hideous rock off of our star maps! Is that clear!?" Yellow Diamond yelled

"I won't do it!" Peridot yelled back at Yellow Diamond. " I can tell you with certainly that there are things on this planet worth protecting!" Peridot yelled

"WHAT DO YOU KNOW ABOUT THE EARTH?!" Yellow Diamond hollered her face getting close to the screen.

"APPARENTLY MORE THAN YOU, YOU CLOD!" Yellow Diamond pulled a furious face that would make anybody laugh. Peridot realized what she had said and hung up the call, grabbing the communicator now in it's dormant form.

The Crystal gems came from behind The robot and crowded around Peridot cheering loudly. "I can't believe I just did that." Peridot repeats her face drenched with sweat as everyone compliments her one her feat.

"Can one of you take this?" Pearl took it from Peridot's hands with a small "why?" "Because it can be remotely detonated." Once Peridot said that, the communicator began to blink a bright red, causing everyone to panic..

After a small panic, Steven bubbled it and Garnet sent it off to space where it exploded in the sky. "I thought I could reason with her..." Peridot groaned. "Yeah, you really made her mad!" Amethyst laughed.

"And then you insulted her to her face." Pearl comments. "Do you know what this means?" Steven smiled wide. "I'm a traitor to my homeworld." Peridot said. "You're a crystal gem!" Steven said with a smile, hugging the Peridot.

Peridot finally stood up, her head in her hands. Until someone clearing their throat caught her attention. Peridot looked up to see Labradorite looking at her. Labradorite put her hand up making Peridot flinch. But the hit never came, instead a hand caressed her cheek. Peridot looked up to see a caring smile on Labradorite's face.

Silence...

"Peri?" Labradorite spoke, Peridot leaned into Labradorite's touch.

"Yeah, Labby?" Peridot responded. "You have a bunch of glass in your hair." Labradorite giggled
