Steven sat on the edge of his bed, Peridot's 'foot' in his lap. Steven sighed and placed the foot down beside him, lost in his thoughts.

What was Peridot trying to say? And Labradorite... poor Labradorite. The sweet gem was only bearly affiliated with the green gem. And yet she was still punished.

Steven thought back to when Amethyst was cracked, how the Crystal gems were so worried. Steven remembered Labradorite's face, in contrast to just last night.

The joyest smile on Labradorite's face when she was showing her tricks to the crowd, lifting people up with her wand, displaying shows making the crowd cheer, laugh, and smile.

And then terrified look on Labradorite's face when the gems neared. Her horrified eyes when the whip caught her ankle. The loud but soft c r a c k as her gem hit the ground. The flash of defeat in her eyes as Pearl shoved her spear in her ches-

"I'm back to kidnap you!"
A violet hand pressed against Steven's face as he yelped from the voice. Steven looked at Amethyst with a bewildered expression as the purple gem chuckled.

"What?" Amethyst laughs again, jumping to sit on the bed, making the bed bounce. "It's been long enough that we can joke about it, right?" Amethyst smiled, Steven looked away at the clock then back at Amethyst.

"It's only been like an hour." The memories are still fried in my brain. Steven thought. "So- ew, what are you doing with her foot?" Amethyst asked, pointing to Peridot's 'foot'. Steven looked at the foot and shrugged. "Think it's lucky?" Amethyst snickered. "Not for Peridot." Amethyst chuckles, wrapping her arm around Steven.

"Well, glad to have you back." Amethyst jumped from the bed, walking down the loft. "Uhm, Amethyst?" Steven called out, Amethyst turned. "Yeah?"

"Uh, do you think..." Steven tried to find his sentence. "No, it's okay, nevermind." Steven said looked back at Peridot's foot. "Okay weirdo." Amethyst chuckled before walking down the stairs.

"If you need anything, I'll be in my room eating garbage." Amethyst stated, leaving the loft as Steven yelled "okay," after her. Amethyst left into her room, leaving Steven with his thoughts.

Steven sighed, his back falling onto the mattress. Steven turned to Peridot's 'foot'. "Why were you so scared? What were you going to say?"  So many questions, so little answers, Steven thought.

Ronaldo taught him that phrase, it seemed to be true in this situation. Heh, who would have thought Ronaldo would be right about something. "Now both of you are deep in the Temple in a bubble and we'll never know..." Steven placed his hand on Peridot's 'foot'.

"If I could talk to you for one more second..." Steven's gem began to glow. Steven immediately sat up, pulling up his shirt just slightly to see his gem glowing brightly. Steven gasps softly as his mother's door opens.

Steven rushed down the loft and into his mother's door, into his mother's room. Steven walked to the center and turned. "Room I need to talk to Peridot." Steven said, pink clouds morfed and twisted until Peridot was standing next to Steven.

"We're the only one who knows about the-" Peridot froze. It was silent as 'Peridot' glared at nothing. "THE WHAT!?" Steven yelled throwing his hands up in the air. More silence as 'Peridot' didn't move.

Steven groaned and waved his hands around the 'Peridot' making her disintegrate back into pink clouds. "No, no, no!" Steven yelled angrily before looking back up at the pink sky.

"Room. I need to go to the basement, the real basement. I know there's a way down from here." Once Steven said that, a few clouds parted revealing a pink pole. Steven smiled and thanked the room, running to the pole and sliding down.

Steven cheered as he slid down and off the pole. "Triple 550 deluxe with no cheese!" Steven smiled before face planting onto the ground. "Yep. Perfect landing," Steven strained as he limped over to a bunch of bubbles.

Steven hums and looks over the gems before finding a maroon bubble with a green and blue gem inside. "There we go!" Steven said before climbing up a pole to get to the bubble.

Steven grabbed the bubble with a "gotcha." And immediately fell off the pole, falling on the ground. The bubble popped when it fell, both of the gems immediately regenerating, the blue gem lagging slightly after the other. Steven went wide eyed as Peridot and Labradorite formed infront of his eyes.

"The Cluster, you INSUFFERABLE, HALF FORM, TRAITOR MEGA CLODS!!"  Peridot yelled as she fully formed, pointing her fist at Steven, only to go wide eyed as she saw her actual hand.

Steven went starry-eyed bearly looking up to catch Peridots eyes. "Oh, my gosh! You're so...cute!" Steven awed. "My limb enhancers! Where are my limb enhancers!?" Peridot fretted, looking over her limb enhancer-less body.

"Aww you're like an angry little slice of pie." Steven cooed, smiling brightly. "Stop talking!" Peridot yelled balling her fist as Labradorite took slow and careful steps toward Peridot, hugging her arm slowly as she winced in pain.

Peridot suddenly looked over Labradorite, stopping at her cracked gem. That only fueled Peridot's rage. "What did you clods do to Labradorite!?" Peridot growled, turning back to Steven with a scowl.

Steven suddenly felt a wave of guilt wash over him. "Uhm well.." Peridot cut him off. "I demand to know what this place is and where we-!" Peridot suddenly look up at the countless bubbles hovering over them.

"Oh my Stars. You're going to HARVEST US!?" Peridot held Labradorite in her arms weary of her gem. "N-no I mean- Ow!" Steven was cut off again by Peridot slapping him. "That hurt." Steven said, rubbing his cheek.

"It did?" Peridot asked, looking awfully surprised. "Yeah. A lot." Steven pouted. Silence. Until Peridot took a glove from Labradorite's lower arms and continuously smacked the boy. "Ow!"

"Yes! Feel our imbridled rage!" Peridot continues to smack the boy. Until Steven had enough and grabbed Peridot's hands, stopping another attempt at slapping his face. "Hey! Hey, hey." Steven pushed Peridot's hands back, and took Labradorite's glove from her hands.

"What's that on your shirt?" Steven asked, smirking to himself while pointing at Peridot's shirt. "What's a shirt?" Peridot asked, looking at Steven. Steven flicked Peridots nose. "Ow!" Peridot yelped, Steven laughed. "That's it!" Peridot growled, jumping onto Steven.

Peridot took back Labradorite's glove and began to repeatedly smack him with it, all the while with Steven trying to escape. Labradorite stood idly, waiting for her glove back as she looked over her gem carefully.

The two fighting become static noise as she stares at her gem, it looked like the crack was growing even though she wasn't moving.

How did Labradorite even regenerate? She was as good as gone when that Pearl shoved a Spear in her chest so... how is she here now? Labradorite traces

her lower gloved hand over the crack gently. Labradorite winced as a quick surge of pain hit her gem. Don't touch that again, Labradorite thought.

Labradorite was pushed out of her thoughts by Peridot grabbing a hold of her hand and running, taking Labradorite with her.

Peridot jumped up on the pipes up to a bright doorway with Labradorite lagging behind, and Steven following behind quickly. Peridot laughed as she opened the door to the living room dragging Labradorite along.

"Stop! They're gonna see you!" Steven warned frettfully, Peridot didn't listen only dragging Labradorite quicker. "Freedom is ours!" Peridot cheered before noticing the gems behind her.

Peridot began to sweat as Steven came to her defense, speading his arms out in a protecting stance. "Wait!" He shouted before Peridot spot up.

"Look, over there! another planet to betray!" Peridot bluffed, Labradorite just nodded along with Peridot, hiding behind the small green gem and clutching her gem tightly. In half a second, Garnet summoned her gauntlets and Amethyst swallowed the pizza box in her hands whole.

"Retreat!" Peridot yelped, taking Labradorite's hand and aiming for the door, only to be blocked by Garnet and Pearl who summoned her Spear. "Oh, no you don't!" Pearl yelled, Peridot squeaked and aimed for the loft, running on all fours with Labradorite lagging behind.

Once Peridot reached the top Amethyst waved with her whip in her hand. "Hey." Peridot's eyes bulged out for their sockets and she screamed. She took Labradorite's hand again and slid past Amethyst hopping off the loft and landing on the couch and falling on her face.

"Get them!" Garnet yelled, Labradorite quickly got up from the couch and picked Peridot up bridle style, running into the bathroom. Peridot shut the door in the crystal gems faces. "You may have won the war, but the battle isn't over Crystal CLODS!" Peridot told, laughing at the door.

"Should we tell them that's the bathroom?" Pearl's voice managed to be heard through the door, a little muffled.

Labradorite sighed and slid down the wall onto the floor, that was way to much action for a cracked gem in a single hour.

Speaking of which, Labradorite looked down at her gem as Peridot looked around to room they were in, it seemed to be just slightly worse, just a little scratches here and there. Labradorite guesses being a forced fusion stops her from glitching out like a normal gem would.

"It seems we discovered some sort of archaic think chamber." Peridot said walking around the room. "Roomy, with a fresh hint of earth citrus." Peridot commented opening the toilet seat up. "A perfect crossroads for my escape." Peridot says.

The door knob jiggled, the Crystal Gems want to get in. Labradorite choose to ignore it, scooting away from the door. "Peridot open the door!" The large fusion yelled, banging on the door, making Labradorite jump and crawl away, mindful of her gem.

Labradorite chuckled as Peridot flushed the toilet, making her spin. Atleast Peridot wasn't taken away from Labradorite. That might the the only good coming out of this.. "Uh if you're trying to flush yourself down to toilet, it won't work, trust me. I tried." Amethyst said though the door, making Labradorite chuckle at Peridot's grumpy face.

"Not. a. word.- LABRADORITE!" Peridot jumped out of the toilet to look over Labradorite's gem. "It-it grew! Why didn't you tell me?!" Peridot looked up at Labradorite with worried eyes.

"It, happened when we were being chased." Labradorite admitted, Peridot looked straight into Labradorite's eyes.

"You will never leave my sight, Don't shatter, you hear me?!"  Peridot demanded, Labradorite nodded shakily, a Peridot looked away hardening her glare. "Good. Now get up to the tall water dispenser. I wanna check your gem." Peridot pointed to the sink.
