A week went by and the two heroes were getting frustrated and worried about their dimension, though their guardians were able to help them out and distract them. They got close to the bots and had to spend time in hiding to let their kwami's rest. They were struggling to keep this up though.

Because Jack knew about Chat, he kept him company and they talked about different topics, then became friends. Miko spied on Ladybug and soon figured out her secret identity, much to the heroines dismay and the former's excitement. After a long talk Miko promised to keep it secret but couldn't stop asking her questions.

Ultra Magnus had managed to gain Ben's trust and help him with his powers. He was surprised when the boy broke down and started telling him about issues he had in his personal life. The commander felt awkward but listened to the teen then had Raf comfort him. Then towards the end of that week he helped console the distraught teen as he felt a better connection with him.

They had attempted to get Ben free from being akumatized, but nothing happened and they were worried it was because they were in a different dimension. Ben was sick of being in his form and kept trying to tear everything off, but again it didn't work.

"You are going to hurt yourself, soldier. You have to give yourself time and be patient with yourself, then you'll be able to overcome this block." Magnus said seriously as they stood in the training room.

"I don't want to do this anymore! I want to go home and fix the mess I made! Why can't I just create the portal and go home?!" Ben cried.

"I told you. If you aren't patient and disciplined, you won't be able to control your powers and you'll harm someone." The commander said as he furrowed his optics ridges. "It is important for a soldier to-"

"Stop it! I'm not a soldier! I'm just... a villain..." Ben whispered sadly. "That's all they'll ever see me as now. Just... leave me alone..." He muttered bitterly.

"You aren't thinking clearly, soldier. You-"

"I said leave me alone!" Dark Portal yelled in frustration, he created a portal then disappeared as he jumped through.

Ultra Magnus blinked in surprise then looked around for him, but he was gone. He sighed forcefully and pinched the bridge of an imaginary nose before wandering the base to find him.

Soundwave slowly walked down the halls of the Nemesis as he headed towards the bridge, after dealing with a few vehicons. He absentmindedly scanned the pathetic planet for energon or something useful. He stopped suddenly as he caught a strange power source in the state called Nevada by Jasper.

It was moving quickly and away from the town towards the east. He created a portal and dispatched Laserbeak to spy on the source. He continued walking to the bridge then paused again when his trusted minicon sent video feed of the boy he saw that created the portal.

He hummed a little in thought and had the con look for the black dressed earthling, but didn't see it nearby. Soundwave told the con to watch the current subject. He then created a portal and walked through, appearing on the bridge next to Starscream.

"Gah!" The second in command cried out as he jumped in surprise. "Why do you insist on doing that?!" He yelled but it sounded more like a whine. Soundwave didn't respond as he walked over to Megatron and showed him the video.

"Perfect. Any sign of the other insect?" The warlord asked as he looked at him and furrowed his optic ridges. The communication specialist showed images of the area around the subject. Indicating that they couldn't find the other.

"Very well. Retrieve the boy and bring him to me." Megatron said as he turned back to the main window and looked around.

"Of course my liege, I won't disappoint you." Starscream said as he bowed lowly then turned to leave.

Megatron glanced at him then frowned a little before looking back at the main window as he thought. Soundwave went back to his computer and kept Laserbeak on the young man's trail so they didn't lose him.

"Wait what?!" Miko shouted as she slowly grinned then looked at Wheeljack. "Are you saying the Great Ultra Magnus, failed to keep an eye, sorry optic, on a teen?" She asked as she looked at the embarrassed commander.

The girl snickered as Wheeljack smirked at the other mech, as if to say he knew he wasn't perfect. Optimus gave both of them a stern look, which made them go quiet, before he turned to his friend.

"Seriously Miko?" Jack asked as the two foreign heroes walked over and watched the scene. They felt bad that they had treated the other teen like a enemy and not a friend that needed help.

"Oh please Jack. We knew it was going to happen sometime." The Japanese girl huffed as she folded her arms and rolled her eyes.

"What is that supposed to mean?" The young man asked as he narrowed his eyes. "Just because someone is going through something they didn't choose, doesn't mean you have to shun them. It's not their fault... an unexpected and life changing event happened." He said seriously. She rolled her eyes again and scoffed as she looked at her friend.

"Oh right, Darby. And you know what it's like to have something happen that changed your life forever." She said sarcastically. Her smile faded as he gave her a hurt expression before it went blank.

"Oh... Jack I'm sorry." she said realizing too late that her comment had been insensitive. Forgetting that his father had left him when he was a kid. He looked away then walked off somewhere to be alone.

"Jack's right." Raf finally said after a few minutes of an awkward silence. "We need to be nice to everyone and help them feel welcomed." he said as he fixed his glasses and stood. "Even Optimus tries to be kind to Megatron." He said seriously then went to help Ratchet at the computer.

"Who's Megatron again?" Chat asked as he frowned and looked at Miko. Ladybug glanced at Optimus then at the other teen who seemed to be a little upset, but did her best to hide it. Miko looked at them then forced a smile before she answered.

"He is someone you don't want to meet." Ratchet said before she could say anything. He didn't look at them as he typed. "The villain of our world, similar to the one you call Hawkmoth, but like us yet more sinister and far more cruel to humans." he muttered and glanced at Raf as if remembering something.

"Do you listen to everything we say?" Chat accused as he smirked a little. He and Miko had their arms folded and hips cocked to the side as they stood in the same position. They even had the same smirk.

Ladybug covered her mouth and bit back a snicker as she watched the two. Her eyes widened a little as she got an idea. She could get Miko and Chat to like each other, then she wouldn't have to worry about him flirting with her.

"It's hard to ignore you when you're extremely loud." The doctor muttered as he glanced at her then went back to typing. Ladybug walked over to the two and stood in front of them. She scrunched up her nose as she studied them intently.

"You two are so cute together." She smiled and the two blinked in surprise then looked at each other. Chat stared at the girl and realized she was beautiful in her own way. He blushed a little as Miko stared at him then blushed as well.

"Yes! Marinette you are so brilliant! Now Chat Noir wont be distracted while we fight, and I can get rid of the flirty cat." She thought as she smiled to herself.

"Are you sure that's a good idea?" Tiki asked and the heroine blinked in surprise. She excused herself to let them have a chance to talk to each other.

"Well why not?" Ladybug said as she went to a private area in the base. "Spot's off." she whispered so the kwami could rest.

"I'm tired of Chat flirting with me when I'm trying to fight. Not only is he distracting himself, but also me." she huffed a little as she walked further down the hall. She stopped suddenly and sighed as she leaned against the wall. She gave her little friend a cookie to eat as she sat on the floor.

"Besides... he's constantly putting his life on the line for me... I'm grateful for that but... what if he.... dies?" she asked. "It would be better this way." she said seriously and smiled a little as she thought of Adrian.

"What about Jack?" Tiki asked and Ladybug blinked in surprise. The kwami ate a little more as she looked around. "Haven't you noticed he likes Miko? Throwing Chat into the mix would just create a problem. Jack and Miko are... sort of like you and Chat Noir. Opposites, but you still make it work when you're together. Even if you don't fully agree on what the other does." she explained. The teen stared at her in surprise and thought about it for a moment.

"So... what you're saying... is Chat and Miko should be together, because they're basically twins and I should be with Adrian." She grinned as she thought about it. Tiki sighed and face palmed then went back to her cookie.

"That's not what I'm saying... Basically what I'm saying is, stay out of it. Let things be." she sighed and the teen looked at her. "How would you like it if Miko tried to take Adrian from you?" the kwami asked. The heroine froze as she thought about this then sighed and slumped her shoulders.

"I wouldn't..." she admitted. Tiki nodded once as she watched her before finishing her treat and floating in front of her.

"Then stop playing matchmaker." she smiled. "I know it worked with your friends, but don't mess with these people. It'll make things worse, and they seem to have other things to worry about." she said.

"Thanks Tiki... for stopping me from doing something stupid." The girl said as she hugged her close. The young teen looked around to make sure no one was around.

"Are you ready?" she asked and the kwami sighed. "Don't worry... we'll find Ben and go home. Then you can rest." she whispered. "Tiki, spots on." she said before transforming back.

When the heroine finally got to the main room, she saw the bots move to the ground bridge as they spoke quickly. The doctor was typing as he watched the screen and seemed upset about something. The others were still in the human area, Miko and Chat talking quietly, but quickly. Ladybug frowned as she realized she missed something important and went to the kids area so she didn't get stepped on.

"What's going on?" She asked as she looked between them and the bots. Ratchet huffed in irritation as he pulled the lever the went back to the computer again.

"We have located the idiot from your world." The medic growled lowly. "He has seekers on his tail though." He grumbled as Optimus transformed with the others and they drove through the portal.

"It's not his fault Ratchet." Raf said as he typed then looked at him. "He didn't ask for any of this to happen... I've talked to him." he muttered and stared at his friend. "Did you think Bumblebee and I were idiots when we were attacked by Megatron?" He asked and the medic froze. He stared for a moment then looked away from the boy.

He didn't respond to him and worked on closing the bridge, the whole team had gone through by now. Raf gave the others a look before going back to his computer. Miko thought for a minute before running towards the portal.

"Wow there." Chat said as he jumped down to the floor then ran after her. She glanced back then ran faster. They could hear the sound of a battle raging on the computer screen from the bots.

"Miko!" Ladybug yelled as she watched the girl run into the ground bridge and Ratchet whipped around as the portal started to disappear.

"Don't worry Milady! I'll get her!" Noir called before he ran faster towards the closing bridge.

"No. No no no no no! Chat don't!" Ladybug yelled as he jumped through. She ran towards the portal but slowed to a stop as it vanished. She stared at the now empty space and shook her head. The heroine looked to the doctor who was equally surprised, then looked back to the frame.

"You stupid cat..." she whispered as she fought back tear. He was going to get himself killed.
