"Optimus, I have a signal again. I'm sending a bridge to retrieve the children." Ratchet said as he typed in coordinates to a safe location. Ladybug ran to the ground bridge and Jack followed to stop her.

"Hold off on the ground bridge, Old Friend." The Prime responded as he grunted and fought some cons. "We aren't able to locate the children." He said and glanced at Magnus as he struggled to fight Shockwave. The Prime narrowed his optics and ran towards him to help.

"Arcee, find the children and take them to a safe location, then make sure they get back to the base." He ordered as he punched Shockwave hard in the faceplate, give Magnus a chance to move away and gain his bearings. Arcee moved away from the battle and went to the kids where Miko had gotten Ben to wake up.

"What's your status?" The two wheeler asked as she scanned the area then looked at Chat who kept glancing at his ring nervously.

"I'll be fine..." Ben rasped as he sat up and gripped his midsection then winced a little before looking at himself. "I can endure a little more but... I cracked some ribs." He said as Miko helped him stand.

"We need to get all of you back before you're actually killed." She scolded as she glared at each of them. "Ratchet I need-" She quickly dodged a missile and looked over at Starscream as he landed a few feet away. "Get out of here Screamer." She spat as she activated her blades.

"Not until I leave with the insects." He growled and activated his claws. "It's humiliating enough that Megatron feels he has to do my job." He huffed and jumped back as she swung.

"Doesn't he always have to save you?" She scoffed as the kids moved out of the way for what felt like the hundredth time.

Chat quickly found a place to hide as his ring blinked on the last pad. He panted heavily as his kwami grunted and fell in his hands.

"This is insane." The little creature huffed as he panted then closed his eyes. He was so tired and wanted to be done. Adrien looked back to the battle and grabbed what food he had then gave it to the kwami.

"We have to get back out there. Hurry and eat Plagg." He said and the kwami protested before eating. He knew he couldn't mess around right now.

"I have to say. I really like Miko. She's pretty cool." He winked and the teen glared at him as he waited impatiently. He looked back out then at him again.

"Good enough." He said when he finished and jumped as he heard more crashing from the robots. "Plagg, Claws out." he said not wanting anyone to hear him. The kwami protested again before doing so. Chat sighed and ran back out to the other two where they were hiding.

"Where did you go?!" Miko shouted. "You missed all the action." she said as they looked back to the fight where Magnus was helping Arcee. Starscream grunted as he fell and held his servos up as he begged for mercy.

"Stop! I yield! I yield!" He cried as he knelt in front of them. "Spare my life! Please!" He pleaded as he looked between them. Arcee sighed and rolled her optics as she stepped back and went to aide the children. Magnus kept an optic on the seeker and glanced at Optimus briefly.

Starscream smirked and extended his claws then stabbed the commander in the side, he then scratched his faceplate and stabbed his midsection when he tried to fight him. Magnus grunted and fell to his knee plates before falling to the ground.

"Well what do you know? I managed to send another bot to the scrap yard." he sneered as he looked at his energon stained digits. Ben's eyes widened in horror as he watched his guardian fall to the desert sand.

"Magnus... no." he rasped and shook his head. The only person that seemed to care about him, was dead or dying. "No!" he screamed in anger as his eyes glowed and the wind picked up around them. He ran to his guardian as tears fell down his face, everyone stopped and looked to the fallen commander.

"Ratchet!" Arcee yelled over the growing wind. "We need a bridge now! Magnus is gravely injured!" She shouted and ran to fight Starscream again, this time joined by Wheeljack and Bulkhead. The seeker yelped in fear and quickly flew away out of reach. The ground bridge appeared and Ratchet ran through, he looked around and blinked in surprise.

"By the AllSpark." he gasped as he saw the commander. "Raf close the bridge!" He shouted as he rushed over. He glanced at Ben who was apologizing repeatedly to the fallen bot. The doctor quickly got to work on saving the commanders life.

He heard the bridge close but hadn't noticed Ladybug and Jack run through then hide by the other teens. Who quickly filled them in on what was going on. Ben yelled angrily into the sky as he knelt by the commanders servo. His hands glowed as a portal above them slowly formed in the sky. Everyone stopped fighting and looked up at the darkening sky as the portal grew.

"Retreat!" Starscream cried as he started to run away from the battle. Megatron grabbed one of his wings without looking away from it. "But Master! We can't stay here!" The seeker yelled only for the warlord to glance at him in irritation.

The portal slowly started to move towards the ground above the boy as it continued to grow. Ben continued to yell in anger as he realized this was all his doing. He was furious with himself for not being able to stop what happened. Ladybug stared in awe then looked at Chat before running towards Ben and shouting at him to stop. Noir followed her and Miko him, not wanting to miss out, while Jack went to stop her.

"Autobots! Get out of range!" Optimus shouted over the growing wind. He ran to the medic to try and move Magnus. Smokescreen, Bumblebee and Bulkhead rushed over to help to get the job down quickly. Wheeljack and Arcee worked on keeping Shockwave away from the others as he attempted to get closer. Ratchet looked up at the portal that slowly ascended down on their helms. as the children tried to stop Ben.

"Not again." The medic grumbled as he went back to work and managed to stabilize him, for now. It was a quick weld job but would do. The other bots got to him and he argued with the rookie about moving his patient. Miko suddenly cried out in surprise as she was lifted off the ground, along with Ladybug. Jack grabbed the former's wrist as Chat grabbed the latter's.

"Hold on Milady!" Noir shouted as the portal got closer. He looked at his feet as he slowly got lifted off the ground. "Gah!" he cried out in surprise and hugged Ladybug close as they started to get sucked into the portal.

Jack was equally surprised when he started to leave the ground and tried to grab something, which ended up being Chat's foot. Bumblebee beeped in alarm and everyone turned to the kids as they were drawn into the vortex. The scout tried to grab them as he chirped frantically. Ladybug pulled out her yo-yo then used it to wrap around his servo and hold tight. Bumblebee chirped in relief and started pulling them back down then glanced at Ben as he started to float away. The scout whirled in surprise and Bulkhead grabbed the other teen.

"Got you covered Bee." he said as he smiled slightly. Ben yelled as he tried to control his powers but was being overwhelmed. He gripped his head and cried out in pain making the portal pulse unnaturally.

"Ah that can't be good." Miko said as she watched the vortex then looked at Jack with fear in her eyes. She was the closest to the portal and it was making her nervous. "Don't you dare let go." she said in a joking manner, but he knew she was dead serious.

"Wasn't planning on it." Jack said as he smiled reassuringly, even if it was a little. He looked back to the bots below and saw the Prime helping Ratchet so they could move the commander. "Optimus!" He shouted. "Look out!" he yelled and the Prime looked up in time to see Megatron running at him. He got up and started to fight the warlord to protect his team from further harm. Dark Portal cried out again and Bulkhead was struck by a type of lightning. He yelled in surprise but it was cut short and he disappeared into thin air.

"Bulkhead!" Miko screamed as tears filled her eyes and Wheeljack looked to where his friend had been. His optics widened but he couldn't do anything as Shockwave picked him up and tossed him further away. Arcee wanted to help as well, but Megatron had already gotten passed them and she couldn't fail again. Another bolt of lightning struck Magnus as Ben cried out again and the commander disappeared as well.

"I needed that patient!" Ratchet snapped angrily as he looked at the boy and glared darkly. He looked at the two leaders then over at Bumblebee as he chirped frantically again. His peds were coming off the ground and he started to go up to the vortex.

"I've got you!" Smokescreen yelled as he ran over but found himself getting drawn in faster than the scout. "Ah come on! You've go-" he was cut off as he went into the portal and disappeared. Ratchet got up and grabbed the scout's ped then held on for dear life.

Miko screamed as the portal slowly came down and her leg got sucked in. Jack grunted as he pulled to try and get her free, but it didn't work and she was soon up to her waist. The vortex was getting stronger and moving faster towards the ground. Ben was out of control and couldn't stop it as the portal went faster. Starscream flew towards the teen to stop him and take him to the Nemesis for Megatron. Though as he got closer he started to get pulled in as well, he quickly turned around and tried to fly out of the away, but was too light and ended up getting sucked in.

"Master!" He shrieked as he transformed into his biped mode. He thought it would help but it only made things worse and he quickly disappeared. Megatron looked to the portal as he heard him then narrowed his optics. Miko screamed again before it was cut short as the portal went over her head.

"Miko!" her friend cried as he held on tighter. Her grip on Jack weakened and he looked at Chat then at her as her hand started to slip. He didn't want her to be alone and afraid wherever she ended up. He didn't know what was on the other side and honestly didn't care. He closed his eyes for a moment and let go of the hero, then watched as everything disappeared.

"Jack!" Chat yelled as he tried to grab him then hugged Ladybug close when he failed to grab the other boy. Optimus punched Megatron away and looked at the others as Ratchet started to leave the ground. His optics widened and the warlord transformed into his alternate mode before flying into the portal.

It shook and moved before resuming its course towards the ground. The Prime looked at Ben then grabbed him in one servo before he grabbed Ratchet's ped with the other. The medic reached down and grasped his servo then looked up at Bumblebee, the yo-yo string could be seen but not the two heroes. The scout chirped frantically as his servo went into the portal, then his arm.

"Hold on Bumblebee! We'll pull you back with the others!" Ratchet shouted as the scout chirped and beeped quickly. The medic's hold started to slip as the pull became too strong for them and the scout slipped from his grasp. "Bumblebee!" He yelled as the scout chirped in desperation before it was cut short. The Primes optics widened in surprise as he watched the scout vanish into the vortex.

"Ratchet hold on!" Optimus boomed as the portal continued to descend on their helms. He looked at the boy in his servos who was trying to stop and was gripping his head as he sobbed in anger and pain. "Benjamin." He said gently as he could under the circumstances. "You need to calm down and focus." He said seriously. The young man looked up at him as blood dripped from his nose and mouth.

"I... can't..." he rasped and the Prime winced inwardly as the boys blood hit his digit. He hated the sight of the small human's energon. It haunted him at times when he was in recharge. "I... don't... know... how..." he gasped and cried out in pain again. Optimus thought about how to help him and looked at Ratchet as he furrowed his optic ridges.

"Ultra Magnus taught you how, so do it." Ratchet snapped. "Stand down soldier or I'll report you for quitting." He growled as the teen looked at him in surprise. After a moment his eyes stopped glowing and he grunted in pain before he swayed a little.

"Stop the portal." Optimus said gently and the doctor shook his helm quickly as the vortex climbed up his ped.

"No. We have to get the others. We can't leave them in this thing." Ratchet said as he narrowed his optics. The Prime stared at his friend then nodded once before he activated his jet pack and flew into the portal. Hoping to find the others.

Ben finally gave up and the vortex started to close. He closed his eyes as his world became black. He silently hoped he didn't wake up again.

Soundwave flew towards the closing portal as quickly as he could as he scanned it then the area. He located the remains of Laserbeak and sent a portal from it's current location to the medical room. He then had another portal form in his berth room as another minicon went from there to his chest chassis for safe keeping.

He quickly closed his portal then flew along the ground passed Shockwave and the two remaining Autobots. He calculated and saw the vortex was growing smaller. He zoomed upwards and straight into the portal then continued flying as he scanned for the murderer. He played the recording to himself as he felt the rage in his spark growing. He wasn't going to let the human insect get away with murdering his minicon.
